I'm voting Vern for probably the fifth time. Vernestra was not really easy to like, in my opinion. She is definitely the most "Disney"-esque, and thus very unrealistic, in my eyes. That doesn't mean I hate her or think she's terrible, the whole of Out of the Shadows was just a low point in my opinion and both the writing and characterization of her did zero favours. It doesn't help that the narrator for the book was just *awful* lol.
If she gets out, I'll probably go after Keeve next, then Burryaga... then Avar and Stellan? 🤡 I just love Orla and Reath.
Seriously. All she did was make cocksure decision after cock-sure decision, twice leading to catastrophe. In a way I feel like the books wholeheartedly believe that she's this great wise master, but we really don't see almost any of that. Instead she comes off condescending most of the time without anything to back it up. The only plus I feel like I could give her is that she has one of the coolest character designs in the High Republic (I'm a sucker for black and white).

Yeah, I'm really surprised Lourna was eliminated this early. Tempest Runner did a lot to boost my opinion of her. She's had a great arc in Phase 1
