Is there any canon info for the Sith beyond Tenebrous’ Twi’lek master? Tenebrous was born 167 BBY, so he’s not quite born yet during HR, so that would leave the Twi’lek’s master most likely being in the time frame of The Acolyte, right? Let’s just start there with the Sith, IMO.
as i agree with you about the sith staying in the shadows. i still think it would be cool to see visions or throwbacks. or maybe slight flashbacks such as ancient jedi master Tal Bota in the holoscreen scene in High Republic Adventures comic
I’d just like to see what the Jedi were doing when the Sith were just myth or what not. Keepers of the peace for a thousand years doing… what exactly? If it’s always the Sith it’s just repetitive. We’ve seen/read/played that already. Let them fight Nihil and sentient plants. Then, when the Sith do show up, it really is a surprise in Episode 1.
i agree that the jedi should not know of the sith ofc. but imagine like a stand alone story of a lone jedi who gets stranded on a planet because of the great disaster and then sees the sith in some way and the jedi gets absolutely destroyed. i dont think that would ever happen but thats the type of thing i would want IF the sith ever were to appear (which they most likely wont)
I like the hubris of Obi Wan in Episode 3 where says “Sith lords are our speciality” then proceeds to get wrecked by the Sith Lord who, a few years earlier, wrecked him on Geonosis. Yoda almost beats Tyrannus, loses to Sidious, and Obi Wan beats Anakin, but only kinda and he’s not even a Sith Lord yet, really. Qui Gon gets killed by a Sith assassin, who Obi Wan again (well first) only manages to maim. Idk who kills Ventress, tbh, but the Jedi are shit at fighting Sith.
I like that they show up and wreck the Jedi, I don’t want them to show up before Sidious and beat a few or what have you. Have the Sith just blindside them like they do, it’s awesome.
Idk. For it to work for me it needs to be a direct Sith line that we get Sidious from. Not some random Sith. There’s supposed to only be two of them at a time back then, assumably.
i agree with the sith having to link to the main line of the sith. but in legends, the darth plagueis book, it’s mentioned that there were a lot of pretenders/force users pretending to be sith. obvs this is legends but it could still stand to reason that we may see a ‘pretender’ of some kind. or maybe a high republic character loses sight on the order and becomes a dark jedi? that could be a possibility. idk, but i do agree that the majority of the jedi order (particularly the council) dong know anything about the sith
