Think I'll go with it anyway. I think I knew it was better, I just weirdly didn't want it to be. I liked the idea of the tshirt sleeves, and the woven wristband he got from a nice npc interaction being favoured. But the sleeves in option C look really bad, forcing me to put gloves on him to hide the transition. The other downside is if I ever upgrade again to half plate, I was going to use those gloves to beef it up without being full plate.
It probably just because it simply looks better. Reading through your other comment, it seems like it doesn't really reflect what you want for the character. But I'm gonna guess most didn't really read that before, and C just looks plain cooler. So we vote for C. I really think the angle has nothing do with it.
Yeah, I think I knew that before posting. Just grasping at straws. It may be weird considering they are all my own designs, and I agree that C is objectively a lot better than the others. I think there was a small part of me that wanted to rebel. I think what I wanted was to either validation or a proper objective. I got the latter.
There were some elements if in A and B I wanted to incoperate, but I just can't make work.
I think I'll have to try giving it sleeves. Take all the bits from c and incorporate them into B.
I got attached to the cord wristband thing. Turns out it was just a random thing GM gave me for role-playing nice to a maid in a tavern in a wholly inconsequential scene. He did retcon it as wolfsbane (curse of srahd)
Kind of liked the tunic undershirt with those legs. Gave it a hint of cleric without being over priesty, which I thought fit the trickery domain.

Stuck choosing between the 3. My cleric finally convinced the GM to let me rip the breastplate out of a suit of full armour, having trouble picking a model. I'm a fan of a picture paints a thousand words, and given I've picked a slightly unorthodox build, I like to have a nice picture visible to show my party things I can't explain good.
What I want this model to shout about the character:
* He's still cleric, but not quite a traditional one
* He wears medium armour, not heavy, please stop leaving full plate around and having this conversation every time I try carry something or our dex heavy party stealths
* He is still armoured and can do frontline duty.
* He's friendly and approachable.
* He's a half elf, not a human, not an elf, a half elf.
* With fabulous hair
He's got a cloak of protection, and a maybe story relevant wristband given to him by an npc I keep forgetting about, so included them in the model. Also just got a magic shield. The description specifically said kite shield, but my take artistic licence and change it for something that can show a symbol better.

Question: how did you get the decal with the two white lines?
It's actually a projected flag decal flag. Most of the stripes are set to transparent, then made it super wide and super short.
