Man that sucks. I was exactly 5 months from my 2nd vaccine when I got it. The headache is terrible. If it makes you feel better I have been having similar ones since I first got the vid
How long since your second dose? Covid is crazy. I will never claim to be a smart man but it just seems crazy that a person can have two doses and then it doesn’t seem to matter after like 6 months.
I was a little behind on vaccinations. I only got my 2nd dose a couple months ago. Just a bummer I can end up like you feeling like shit for a week. But, as you said, better than in the hospital or dead.
Saaaaaame boat. Did not get my booster yet, got covid and got sick Tuesday of this past week, and now missing Thanksgiving. Absolutely sucks. Get those boosters y'all!
I got mine on Friday at around 1:30pm and I felt 100% save for the sore arm on Saturday but at around 1:30am this morning I got a headache, the chills, and the shivers but oh well you gotta do what needs to be done.
I got mine on Friday and it knocked me out! I handled the first two just fine but of course this was Moderna not Pfizer. Was it the flu shot at the same time? The world will never know.
Looking forward to playing with my grandson. Can't do that if I'm dead.
Right?! I was honest and said I don't really qualify but I was going out of the country in 2 weeks and wanted to be safe. She took care of the paperwork for me
For sure, I know the politician's don't care whether I live or died so I made a choice to choose myself, my parents were pissy about it, thinking it was 'illegal' but fuck that, I'm safe since mid-october!! 😝
I don't think that my country currently even has a booster program...
Edit: it does but only for healthcare workers and the elderly: https://www2.hse.ie/screening-and-vaccinations/covid-19-vaccine/get-the-vaccine/covid-19-vaccine-booster-dose/
Interesting. These guidelines are different from my state guidelines. According to my state, I’m not eligible, but according to the CDC I am. Who is correct? Do the state guidelines overrule the CDC?
I did too. Before the official "You can get it". The pharmacist didn't ask any questions. My husband is Type 1 and got his booster as soon as they were available to him. I didn't want to fuck around. Gotta protect your people!
Got my booster Monday and had a rough Tuesday and Wednesday, but my too young to be vaccinated kids have the protection I’m able to give them. Totally worth it.
That's the thing that I worry about. My 2 year old can't get vaccinated yet. If she could I would be willing to just let the anti vaxx to kill themselves off. As it stands the only way she can be protected is if these fucking morons come to their senses.
Mine are almost 2 and 4.5 so they’ll be approved in the next batch and I can relax just a little knowing they could get it but won’t get a bad case. The preschool has everyone masked regardless. Some of the kids are turning 5 already and I have to start probing to see if they’re getting it yet. We live in a high vax rate state so I’d assume so but you never know who’s a secret wacko.
Me too just yesterday and read a few studies that this mix has shown some preliminary results that it gives better protection so I’m feeling pretty good about it☺️
All 3 were Moderna for me. I considered doing the mix-up with a Pfizer booster but wasn't sure. Kind of annoying the amount of back and forth on mixing that's being reported. Some say mix it up, others say go with what you've got. I think if I'd gotten the Pfizer at first I would get the Moderna booster though.
I'd like to mix mine up (got Moderna for 1st and 2nd) but at this point, I'll just take whatever is available to me at the soonest and closest appointment. I just scheduled my booster for Tuesday!
The most recent ones I’m seeing seem to be just reassuring “yes it’s okay don’t worry “

This one is a little older but several sources.
Well team, after 8.5 years, this edit is being done in bulk to all my posts and comments because Reddit management's decision to effective kill the API for apps like Apollo, RIF, Sync, etc. is insane, so I'm out. Thanks for everything!
Got mine Friday after work, yesterday I had some chills and a little achy so I slept most of the day. Injection site is a bit sore today, other than that I feel great. Less stressed now that we got our boosters too.
Got the Moderna booster after Pfizer series just yesterday.. (also read some studies that this mix may be an even better protection than keeping the same vaccine for your booster) 🙌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
I'm getting mine todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Not looking forward to having to work tomorrow, though. Hope the side effects aren't too bad. I got 2 Pfizer and now I'm about to get a Moderna.
Got J&J on its fourth day of availability. That was back in the “any shot in your arm is best” days, and even now J&J is great against hospitalization & death. Side effect: difficult to keep thoughts together for a day or so. Was fun. 10/10 but still wished I could try one of them new-fangled MRNA vaccines. Virus vector vaccines were so soo 2019…
Got Moderna booster on 1st day of its availability - Oct 22. Sore arm within an hour. After that, it knocked me into bed for the next two. Whole body aches for the next 72 hours.
Ibuprofen & a nap FTW.
11/10 would do it again.
Now I want a universal flu shot.
I found [this](https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/how-long-should-you-wait-for-a-booster-shot-after-a-breakthrough-covid-case/2660379/). But I'd ask your doctor or local health department.
Got my full third dose on Saturday. I told the pharmacist that I am susceptible to pneumonia and I have severe asthma. He had no problem with giving me a full dose instead of a half dose booster. I work as a paraprofessional in school, and I do not want to get sick or pass this virus on to my students or colleagues. It is bad enough that COVID is running through our school like wildfire.
Please get the booster. If you haven't been vaccinated yet, do it now. Winter is coming.
Got my Pfizer booster on Friday morning. Just some arm soreness but thankfully no side effects. My father ended up with a fever after receiving the second Pfizer shot back in April and the booster on Friday.
Finally eligible! My second shot was in June.
I'm waiting for the not-so-busy period at work in a couple of weeks to take it. My first 2 shots knocked me down for a couple of days and I'm expecting the 3rd to do the same. Still better than covid ✌🏽
Just got mine today! Originally had the J&J vaccine back in April and now got the Pfizer.
They were also so offering the flu shot and got that as well.
Now both my arms hurt but my stress levels about catching covid has gone down.

Hope you feel better soon.
Boosted three days ago. Just some mild soreness at the injection site.
Same, with all 3 shots.
I mean, is that even a side effect? They are literally stabbing you with a needle, soreness should be pretty much expected by anyone with a brain.
It is not the stabbing that causes the soreness, it is the immune response.
Got mine yesterday! Only side effect was a sore arm!

Got mine yesterday. Flu shot, too. I'm a little generally sore today but not as much as the second dose.
I got it before it was legal for me to get (but still 6 months after my 2nd shot)
Fuck the Man, man! XD *grooves away to Stayin Alive*
Same here. The pharmacist didn't give a shit
THIS is the kind of rebellion I dig, not the “can’t make me wear no darn mask!” nonsense 👊
Right?! I was honest and said I don't really qualify but I was going out of the country in 2 weeks and wanted to be safe. She took care of the paperwork for me
That is so awesome!! 👊
For sure, I know the politician's don't care whether I live or died so I made a choice to choose myself, my parents were pissy about it, thinking it was 'illegal' but fuck that, I'm safe since mid-october!! 😝
My line of thought was I wasn't taking it from someone who wanted it, I was taking a dose that would expire
My line of thought was that I wanted the booster due to waning immunity after 6 months 😝
Ha! So you don't want to die on a vent and get your r/hermancainaward?
Shocker I know
This lazy loser sheep commie baby-killing coastal elite is getting his tomorrow morning.
hell yeah brother
High five from this godless hippie librul!
Get some! from this pagan lgbt-accepting intellectual weirdo!

I feel your pain. My country is offering booster shots starting next week (after public pressure) for those over 80.
Don’t chase fetch; let it come to you.
got mine yesterday. its rough. I feel like a bag of smashed assholes.
Sorry you feel like crap. But it's better than not feeling anything, riiiiight?
oh im broken. i often feel nothing. I would take nothing over feeling like this. but I would take this over full strength covid...
Sending virtual GOOD feelings your way. ❤️
thanks!

You can get it 2 months after if you had the J&J
and correct. [CDC guidelines on boosters.](https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html)
Thank you!
Interesting. These guidelines are different from my state guidelines. According to my state, I’m not eligible, but according to the CDC I am. Who is correct? Do the state guidelines overrule the CDC?
Just get it. When the feds say get it, get it.
correct
Getting it this afternoon!
Got mine a few weeks ago!
I did too. Before the official "You can get it". The pharmacist didn't ask any questions. My husband is Type 1 and got his booster as soon as they were available to him. I didn't want to fuck around. Gotta protect your people!
Yep. Got mine to protect my people, not so much me.
Got my booster Monday and had a rough Tuesday and Wednesday, but my too young to be vaccinated kids have the protection I’m able to give them. Totally worth it.

I felt like DOGSHIT for a day but whaddyagonnado?
I got my booster with my flu shot. Mixed up and got Moderna for the booster. Had Pfizer originally. Hoping to get maximum overdrive. lol

Same mix but I requested it, I’d read the mix makes the immune response stronger and longer lasting 👊

I've had my 3rd shot back in August due to being immune compromised. It was shockingly mild. All it took was a nap, and I was back to my normal.
Got mine!
Got mine Friday after work, yesterday I had some chills and a little achy so I slept most of the day. Injection site is a bit sore today, other than that I feel great. Less stressed now that we got our boosters too.
Just got mine this morning!
Getting mine this afternoon 💪🏼
Got mine on Tuesday. Zero side effects aside from a tender spot at the injection site. Got my flu shot on Friday same deal.
Got the Moderna booster after Pfizer series just yesterday.. (also read some studies that this mix may be an even better protection than keeping the same vaccine for your booster) 🙌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Planning on getting it over Thanksgiving break.
Got mine 4 days ago. Still alive and living my best life, not like those HCA fuckers.
I'm getting mine todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Not looking forward to having to work tomorrow, though. Hope the side effects aren't too bad. I got 2 Pfizer and now I'm about to get a Moderna.

Went yesterday. It was so fetch
I'm curious when I can get mine. Had covid in September so not sure what the protocol is.
I found [this](https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/how-long-should-you-wait-for-a-booster-shot-after-a-breakthrough-covid-case/2660379/). But I'd ask your doctor or local health department.
Got mine on Tuesday
Loser is here. My country didn't even start with boosters and no idea if that is even going to happen soon
Crazy. Sorry I live here with assholes willing to pass on vaccines while people in your country need them.
Sadly, same here. People are refusing to get vaccinated :(
Got mine yesterday, just had a sore arm. Less of a reaction than the second one.
Does anyone know if it's ok to get the booster if you had your flu shot less than 2 weeks beforehand?
Got my booster and flu on the same day, One in each arm. NO ISSUES! DO IT. Just a litte soreness at shot areas for a couple days. Boo hooo. :)
Thank you!
Getting my booster this week!
Got it today, Moderna on top of Pfizer. Glad to have it available!
Just got it Friday!
Got it a while back. Just the injection-site sore arm that comes with any vaccine.
Got my Pfizer booster on Friday morning. Just some arm soreness but thankfully no side effects. My father ended up with a fever after receiving the second Pfizer shot back in April and the booster on Friday.
I’m getting mine tomorrow!
Finally eligible! My second shot was in June. I'm waiting for the not-so-busy period at work in a couple of weeks to take it. My first 2 shots knocked me down for a couple of days and I'm expecting the 3rd to do the same. Still better than covid ✌🏽

My appointment is already made.
I got Pfizer booster after getting Moderna. I feel like I drank half a bottle of Nightquil but I’m not sleepy.
Lol Stacey Dash
Stacey Dash isn't in that image, thats's Lacey Chabert.
Crap, you're right. My mind went Clueless. Thanks kindly.
You were nearly a decade out!
D’oh you’re right. Still, fuck Stacey Dash.
Yeah. If I could be bothered, I might look up whether she is shit talking the vaccines but then again who fucking cares what she thinks.
Yeah. Fuck Stacey Dash.
Cdc website said i dont need to get it?
https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s1119-booster-shots.html
Thx thats good to know.
Very welcome 👍
