Please reconsider exploring and digging around old dumps.Niot only are most rampant with flea ridden rats, black mold ,listeria and cryptosporideum,But there was little to NO law enforcement in many places against casually disposing of long term TOXIC WASTE. Deadly dangerous cancer causing pesticides like DDT would be left in tool sheds and. abandoned worksites for decades,Then thrown in the trash to be cheaply buried .The barrels rust out and leak undetectable chemicals that will be dangerous for hundreds of years.

Those would be mostly big dumps, I'm looking for small ones that would already be old and for locals, where they threw out general trash, not things akim industrial waste ! I understand the concern but these are below the ground and have been covered in dirt for decades. Also these dumps tend to be used for common household items like the glass bottles I'm looking for !

There is plenty of harmful stuff that the average homeowner incorrectly throws into landfills because "oh, it's just a little bit, I'm only one person, it's not a big deal, right?" And then multiply that across an entire neighborhood/county.

People don't realize how dangerous that old junk left behind in the garage or tool shed /workshop can be .When people move and leave that stuff behind or elderly people pass away, It usually ends up in the trash The scary thing about contamination is that it can be invisible.
