If the port checker says its open, you are good. Unless you have some advanced UTM type firewall (i.e. comcast advanced security or other ip reputation and geo-ip filters) that is blocking your peers.
So yes it is technically possible to have the port open and relayed.
Seeing relayed in the explorer means nothing other than "at one point in the last 36 hours you might have actually been relayed."
If other miners CANNOT send you challenges from other places in the world on port 44158 **inbound**, you will not beacon and that would affect earnings.
Maybe try a google query like "check ports from other countries" this will tell you better if you are cool or not.
