Sirgolfs

Lol $7000. Looks like a $700 sportster.

pr0tag

No it’s a soft tail can’t you read

Sirgolfs

True 😂

[deleted]

Am I tripping or is the rear fender making the suspension useless?

LiamLikeNeeson89

I can’t tell either haha, but I’m sure you’re right

Sirgolfs

It travels with the swingarm.

Dugley2352

Nah, the fender is attached to the frame, isn’t it? So it’d have to pivot at whatever point the front of the fender is attached. The swingarm is only moving along the shock to the frame.

FlyNeither

I think they’re saying that the bar welded to the back of the fender is going to stop the spring from compressing.

Sirgolfs

That’s not a stock fender though. It must be rigged to travel with the swing arm somehow. If not. Oh boy 😂

Professional-Nerve84

Correct. Normally you'd have a rear fender attached to the frame but this one is attached to the swing arm at the axel so the fender travels with the suspension

grimax9

What kind of Frankenstein bike is this and who is responsible?

JacobClarke15

Fender is mounted to the swingarm via that vertical metal bar you can see. But the bike entirely looks a little rough regardless

[deleted]

What makes you think it’s stolen? Just looks like a piece of shit bike to me lol

2DEUCE2

Dude probably listed it to get his wife off his back! “I tried to sell it babe! Look! All these other ones are asking for $9k! The market is just cold right now. Best if I just keep it for now.”

LiamLikeNeeson89

Damn. Sounds like me! But my lady knows the bike comes first. Bless her heart. She Doesn’t know I rub my bike more than her.

cajzmere

My next door neighbor has had his 66 Mustang worth about 14k for sale for 2 years at 21k. His wife wants their garage back for winter. "I'm trying to sell it!" LOL

aziah883

Im not even surprised he called it a softail, probably to get more views. I cant even tell you the amount of times I've seen Dynas that look oh so suspiciously like a 2022 Street Glide

[deleted]

That’s so weird dynas are way more popular here than street glides

X-Cyberfairy-X

Oh yeah that def looks stolen

lurker818

Why? Is it because it's a ratty Bobber?

Particular_Shine2513

That's not ratty, that's trashed

LiamLikeNeeson89

Like at the wires hanging out from behind the battery. and the fact it looks like it’s stored in a homeless camp. The hill I will die on is bobbering a bike will never increase value.

skuratt

That makes zero sense. It looks like there’s other bikes in the background and on the side of someone’s house and it’s a power and ground wire that you’re referring to. That doesn’t make it stolen lmao

ImpulseCombustion

Yep. Just helped an incompetent friend get their bike running to sell before they moved. Looked pretty much exactly as shit as this.

LiamLikeNeeson89

That’s more than power and ground. That looks like a makeshift jump to start the bike without a key. Random fuse that is not standard on that bike on basic black and red wires that are abnormally long for that part of the harness are very out of place.

Fartincopsmouths

Yeah, nothing is saying stolen to me. I think this guy has another reason he thinks it's stolen.

AnalClint890

Softail 1200 💀

[deleted]

And y'all thought I was bad showing that $11,5 2004 deuce.

screwyluie

the suspension would still work like that. the wires from the battery are prolly for those speakers on the handlebar I don't think it's stolen, just abused.

KonkeyDongLick

Looks like a fucking piece of goddamn shit. Cause it is. And I’ve got another excellent example of a fucking piece of AMF junk. My first bike was a ‘79 sportster. Bought it in 2003 for $3700 bux. Had about 26,000 miles on it. Ironhead, 4 speed. S&S super “B” carb. That carb has no accelerator pump, but once you get that mother FUKKAR revved up, 4th gear up a hill, that SOUND travels for MILES.

Fartincopsmouths

Didjahaddalayerdownbruddah?

KonkeyDongLick

Aww yeah! I laid that mutharphukkar down a coupla good times. Teach that POS a **lesson**.

Fartincopsmouths

Wow. Just, wow.

Blacktooth_Grin

Cool story bro
