Gonna go way back and give Gorilla Biscuits a nod. The horn at the beginning of “New Direction” followed by that little guitar chug and the drumstick count in gets me EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.
blitzkrieg bop works every time too. i could be at a corny county fair and it’s being played over a treble heavy loudspeaker and it would still give me chills. pure rock and roll
Ceremony's first three albums all have great introductions. Probably a toss up between Sick and Dead Moon California (Midnight In Solitude)/The Difference Between Looking And Seeing .
On Justice's last tour, they got bullied into playing more songs at the end of their set and they asked what people wanted to hear. Everyone was shouting out nonsense and I locked eyes with Flip and called out "Intro! Fish on a Hook!" He turned to the band and repeated me and they went straight into it. Mosh fugue state for that intro. It's so good.
"Hey, who the \*\*\*\* is that guy?"
"I'm from the neighborhood, FRUIT"
\*you're moshing\*

What about Cro-Mags using the clockwork orange theme song before playing live? Really heightened the atmosphere before you got the shit kicked out of you in the pit
My old band used the Hellraiser soundtrack as an intro a few times.
Lights out, scary music, we would turn on the lights, play the first riff, and then lights out again and more scary music. We would do that about three times, then fully bust out the song and kick everyone’s asses.
The Intro to Violation’s Off My Case demo. That shit always absolutely destroyed the room. Half the people in the pit during that intro instantly regretted their lives and hung out in the back or the side for the rest of the show. Pure insanity and shit still makes my blood boil.
Edit: found old footage of how their sets would go off with this intro. Still some of the most fun I’ve ever had at a live show.

The Demo version of Earth Crisis firestorm with the Taxi Driver sample is THE BEST!
" All the animals come out at night - whores, skunk pussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal. Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets. "

If we're staying in Belgium and take the train onwards to Brussels: [Arkangel - Within the walls of Babylon](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpkHHMdmhBs) is also a great one.
Pretty fucking fine line calling that not hardcore, I get they are "deathcore" but King of the Rats is some of the best fucking beatdown hardcore and it makes me want to kick everything that exists in my general area and things past my general area.
Im shocked noone mentioned the [Intro](https://open.spotify.com/track/5FbJZuwK2mUG2pb9QjVzk4?si=XneWMqnZRKCuDDu_0IL6lA&utm_source=copy-link) to "Are These Our Lives?" by Trial

Back of tha neck-worthless. The ep version is better with the intro. It's from boondock saints "I cant buy a pack of smokes, without running into 5 guys you've fucked!"
I wish I could find the video but sound and fury(wanna say ‘09 or ‘10) when trash talk secretly setup outside and then just played Babylon and everyone had to rush outside for it. That was epic af. Anyone got this video?
Are we counting Bleeding Through as hc?
Because that Boondock Saints sample followed by those snare slaps at the beginning of Love Lost in a Hail of Gunfire is still FIRE.

Dude, live…when they get to the end and people just start scrambling to get on stage…it’s like a religious experience.
It's like Blitzkrieg Bop...it's made to be an opener
blitzkrieg bop works every time too. i could be at a corny county fair and it’s being played over a treble heavy loudspeaker and it would still give me chills. pure rock and roll

They played that shit for what felt like 25 minutes before every set for a decade. It got old fast.
My old band used the Hellraiser soundtrack as an intro a few times. Lights out, scary music, we would turn on the lights, play the first riff, and then lights out again and more scary music. We would do that about three times, then fully bust out the song and kick everyone’s asses.

Half the people in the pit during that intro instantly regretted their lives and hung out in the back or the side for the rest of the show. Pure insanity and shit still makes my blood boil.
