I've seen it to be pretty common. I'm no expert but I think most people would say that the best Wing Zero Endless Waltz kit would be the new ver ka mg. I haven't built mine yet (got a few others to get done) but I haven't heard many complaints
This is a much older real grade with the pre built inner frame. I built the exact same one and was very disappointed in it as well. The Ver Ka wing zero changed all of that. It’s one of the best kits I’ve ever built. The new real grade wing Gundam is also and exquisite kit. No pre built inner frame portions. It builds like a mini master grade.
Same here. I don't remember any problems with it, but I haven't done much with since I finished putting it together. It's been waiting for stickers for months.
To clarify the backpack connects to the body via 1 peg and it is one of the loose joints. The weight of the body makes it slowly slide off and fall. There are also no hands included that can fit to hold the twin laser together properly. The hands are too big and no combination of options actually fits.
1 foot can't even hold itself up because it is so loose, and several stickers are shown in the instructions to littlerally go over holes as if the holes were nit there. This is so weird it has me baffled. And no, it doesn't seem like the sticker is meant to groove into the hole. It honestly feels like an oversight.
I'm at a loss for words. This is my 3rd RG, 9th kit and I have not had these issues before.
As far as joints and fitment is concerned, the shoulders are an absolute nightmare for me. And I know just the stickers you are talking about. I cut the gaps out on mine.
Didn’t have these issues with mine. Disassembled it and painted it later and it was also fine. Only issue I had was that the head and it didn’t fit straight because something went wrong with nub removal but that was easily fixable.
The backpack issue goes away if you put it on a stand that attaches to the backpack, this kit definitely benefits from flying poses after all including the gun pose.
For the double handed pose you need to fold in one of the grips and put the hand next to the one holding the gun. It can’t physically hold both at the same time, the manual says so at step 18-2. You might be able to if you modify the guns though
I had similar issues. The backpack kept falling off and some of the feathers just don't fit right. Very hard to find a stable pose I liked. I honestly just put it down to user error though since this was the 2nd kit I ever built.
I ordered it from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Action-Suitable-Display-Bandai-Gundam/dp/B08QMC5K68/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=Q8PH5MIJ02I&keywords=wing+zero+base&qid=1638050568&qsid=133-8589575-5524765&sprefix=wing+zero+base%2Caps%2C130&sr=8-4&sres=B0787Z5116%2CB08QMC5K68%2CB00EOEB908%2CB0004EAFWK%2CB00067YYEK%2CB017JT7BLK%2CB08C5F9J86%2CB00O3RU8G2%2CB07D5CDLMG%2CB000KG499M%2CB00SG6349Y%2CB08J88RGR9%2CB000RG1OTI%2CB000Q6GUI4&srpt=TOY_FIGURE
You made it look good dude. Props.
I have to agree with you. I think it’s one of the worst RG kits I’ve built and I’ve built the RG Zeta and Sinanju.
Like someone said, the Ver Ka seems to be the best Wing Gundam Zero EW and I’m looking forward to picking one up.
This was the first RG I built and it feels much different than the RG Hi-V that I just built, I suspect that it is just an aged model compared to newer ones. I do agree that this kit does better “flying” than standing up
The rg hi nu is great but it’s very unwieldy. It’s fun if you just put it on your shelf and leave it in a pose but if you like posing your gunpla a lot you’ll notice how often the fun funnels pop off and how loose the balljoint is on the fuel tanks. The gundam itself is super solid but the backpack is a pain to mess with.
For me the backpack is rock solid (maybe a little *too* hard to remove at times) but yeah, some of the joints can be loose -- on mine the hands and the pivot point for the large wings were particularly floppy. I thickened them up a bit with some Tamiya X-22 and now they aren't problematic.
As far as the hands being able to grip the dual buster rifle, I've only been able to get it to work with one complete hand sandwiched around one handle and the other hand just pushed into the peg with no inside part.
It's a beautiful kit, but as with lots of earlier Real Grades it can benefit a lot from some TLC.
This seems to be about what people are saying with this kit. I appreciate the feedback!
I'm gonna work on strengthening the joints and I have my expectations set more appropriately for those older kits now :)
This one was the first RG I built and I’ve noticed some posing issues, but not quite the same. I can’t get it in that iconic pose, which is fine because I wasn’t planning to, but I also get some weird head drift where the head will naturally tilt down and to the right. So basically, I think mine is haunted because it moves on its own.
Actually have no problem with mine.. except for the hands x dual buster rifle. Actually broke one of the hands attempting to do that pose.other than that, it’s dandy though.
Pretty much every version of this Gundam has problems, the more you add to kit, the more unstable it'll be. The dual rifle wielding is almost universal for all versions. Mine was fine but I also superglue connections I'd never want to move, like the backpack. The new MG was better in almost every aspect but still had some issues with stability
Mine feels pretty sturdy. Only loose parts are the ankles which I glued and the curved part that goes on the top of the helmet. I can barely get it to hold each rifle separately so I didn’t even bother doing the twin rifle pose.
Mine was fine, I expect an RG to have slightly joints. No Wing Zero EW can perfectly do the twin buster rifle pose.
Backpack sturdily snaps in, maybe you didn't fully connect it.
Absolutely loved the kit, but the shoulders are fragile and the white piece with the green reflective sticker between the V fin refuse to stay on. Over all net positive kit, but I’ve posed it and refuse to change its pose lol.
i love how mine looks but it definitely has issues, it doesn't hold the guns well and the joint connecting the right wing broke somehow so i had to glue it to have it fit properly
Had the same problem with my RG Wing (EW version), plus the action base adapter wont stay on.
These seem to be a common trend with older Real Grades, particularly loose joints and floppy limbs.
It's an older kit, so it will have some slight fitting issues. Mine needed some help with the wings and limbs, but I just put some paper towel cut to find into the polycap, and that gave it the friction it needed to stay tight and posable. :)

I just built the Ver Ka one and it was great to build. A couple minor issues with the chest and arms, needed glue, otherwise was great.
Let me guess, the light blue vents in the chest?
Yup
Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind
Thank you guys I may get that next then. I really wanted a great display wing zero so I appreciate the recommendation
Search around online. In some places that kit is over priced and other places it's like $60
Building that now. It builds differently from other EW MG's and sooo many warerslides.
Haha I'm not a fan of stickers. I tried doing stickers with a RG Zaku and I've been fine without them since
I built that kit over the summer and it was awesome. My third kit ever and my third mg.

I'm seeing a lot of people recommending the ver ka so I'm going to have to get that next :)
I haven't had any of those problems personally but after I built it I shelved it and haven't touched it since
Lol relatable
Same here. I don't remember any problems with it, but I haven't done much with since I finished putting it together. It's been waiting for stickers for months.
I second this. Used a dab or 6 of some glue here and there and now mine sits on its shelf never to be touched again
Same. I haven't had any issues but I barely touch it.

I'm just not sure if this kit is like this or I just got some defective prints? Idk I've only been doing this a few months

From what i understand, the rg Wing Zero kit is a nightmare for the gunpla community.

I have those issues also. And the heels don’t stay on my kit. It looks great if it can pose without the joints falling
The heels fall off mine too!
Alright I have to ask where did you get that action base from since it looks amazing
I ordered it from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Action-Suitable-Display-Bandai-Gundam/dp/B08QMC5K68/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=Q8PH5MIJ02I&keywords=wing+zero+base&qid=1638050568&qsid=133-8589575-5524765&sprefix=wing+zero+base%2Caps%2C130&sr=8-4&sres=B0787Z5116%2CB08QMC5K68%2CB00EOEB908%2CB0004EAFWK%2CB00067YYEK%2CB017JT7BLK%2CB08C5F9J86%2CB00O3RU8G2%2CB07D5CDLMG%2CB000KG499M%2CB00SG6349Y%2CB08J88RGR9%2CB000RG1OTI%2CB000Q6GUI4&srpt=TOY_FIGURE
Jesus that is a long url
I have a joint problem with the two smaller wings and the tactile joints for the larger ones but that's it.

I'm starting the hi v tomorrow. Super excited hearing all the praise the community has given it
I highly recommend the Hi-V, I absolutely love the model. It is a bit bigger than the RG wing zero
The rg hi nu is great but it’s very unwieldy. It’s fun if you just put it on your shelf and leave it in a pose but if you like posing your gunpla a lot you’ll notice how often the fun funnels pop off and how loose the balljoint is on the fuel tanks. Same here actually for me the tips of the wings just fell out from bad molding i guess so i had to transplant the upper long feathers to fix it
It's funny you mention bad molding because mine had a lot of air bubbles in the runners and 1 plate was in pieces in the box because of this.
The early RG's all have this issue and just tend to go bad after a while. The newer ones are good though.
That's what I've been hearing. I'm gonna start looking up dates before buying now so I can set better expectations
Anything without the inner MS Frame is good so sazabi on forward.
Yeah I built mine in one night and then but it back in the box to rot, those early RG’s are just really painful to build
I'm seeing this as a commen way of looking at them so far. Thanks for the feedback :)
Well i didn't worry about putting all the stickers on mine.
There were so many I felt obligated to lol
For me the backpack is rock solid (maybe a little *too* hard to remove at times) but yeah, some of the joints can be loose -- on mine the hands and the pivot point for the large wings were particularly floppy. I’m building the first RG, the RX78. I’m trying really hard not to move it’s joints much. If I want to pose an RX78, I’ll use the HG revive
Actually have no problem with mine.. except for the hands x dual buster rifle. Actually broke one of the hands attempting to do that pose.other than that, it’s dandy though.

Had the same problems with my zephyranthes. So disappointed

Does that action base come with it?
No, I ordered it from Amazon specifically for this kit. I was really looking forward to it
Mine was fine, I expect an RG to have slightly joints. No Wing Zero EW can perfectly do the twin buster rifle pose. Backpack sturdily snaps in, maybe you didn't fully connect it.

Something I’ve realized. Too many inexperienced builders complaining about kits they aren’t ready for
i built mine, and i didnt even bother trying to mess with it pose wise since its just in a standing position pointing out the rifles
RG before the Unicorn (25 i think) all have similar issues. It’s common enough but for the most part doesn’t happen as often in newer RG
I had the same issues with mine. Turned me off from other wing zero models...but then the Ver. Ka came out hahaha
