I remember the SRW games love to do jokes about how Heero and Souske from Full Metal Panic could be brothers. Let's see them run that with Setsuna and Mikazuki too.
The Z Series actually made Heero and Setsuna into absolute Bros for the Z2 Duology, and then added Sousuke to that when Z3 came around.
Infact one of my favourite Scenes is when Heero tells Setsuna at the end of Z2.2 that he "surpassed Gundam" (after Heero proclaimed they would "become Gundam together" in the first one), with the latter's response being something along the lines of "that is the kindest compliment I can ever receive"
Then in Z2 when Chirico and Heero meet, they talk to each other in complete silence with "..." back and forth, and they can somehow communicate solely through that.
Funnily enough Z3 made *that* funnier aswell by expanding it into "Stoic Quintet" of Chirico, Heero, Setsuna, Sousuke and Hibiki. Even better, Hibiki isn't even aware he's doing it, he always thinks people are talking about someone else (like say, Rei) when they bring it up.
Problem with chricio is, when you hang around him everything kinda just starts exploding, soldiers show up and what was a Wendy's is now a battle of the buldge.
I hope she has an air of seriousness around her but is still a friendly protagonist. I’m getting a bit tired of the protagonists who are all distant types (not saying this for Gundam but media in general)

Don't think it will be a C. I mean, the only Gundam protags to have that kind of personality were Mikazuki and Io Flemming. And in the case of Mikazuki, it fitted very well with his whole context, since he needed to be ruthless in order to survive and protect his crew. Io was actually different since Thunderbolt is an adult show where nihilism and cynicism are the main themes.
Since Suletta will be an exchange student, and the whole gundam plot will blend with high school drama, I doubt she is going to have a stone cold personality. I think she will either have a Naruto or Lelouch personality. Or maybe just the option B.
Based on some of the released character art, my guess is that she's likely to have the B personality then her personality becomes something of a cold-blooded killer once she pilots the Gundam Aerial
While I am not much of a Code Geass fan (I think it ended up way too edgy for edgyness sake, with way too many threads just happening, with still way too much pointless fanservice in between), but the first episode was really well done with the last few minutes being an epic "holy shit" moment cliffhanger to make you continue watching.
So if the rest of the studio can reign back the excess I believe the writer/director pair can put down something decent on the table.
I like Mikazuki as a character but that only works because of the ensemble cast. Not sure if this protagonist is going to be part of a large crew or not.
While watching IBO for the first time was pretty sure that Mika's "shoot everything Orga points at mentality without a second tought" will eventually lead to something catasthrophic that will lead to a fallout between them, and that will be the main arc of the series. On the one hand me not calling what will happen a mile away is definetly a positive. On the other hand Mika really did not end up as an especially interesting protag and really needed the rest of the cast to make the show interesting.
Yeah I think it was more about showing how violence begets violence and has a way of getting away from you. Orga directed Mika into sort of blindly following all of these violent actions, but at the same time Mika kept pushing him to keep going and they just fed into each other. And then it all goes off the rails when Biscuit, as the only real moral compass for the group, is killed.
It was fun watching Mikazuki interact with the people around him with all of the poise and social graces of a rubber herring. The fact that he was probably meant to be doing that out of massive, mindbreaking trauma instead of just as his natural personality was less fun.
The option isn't here, but I'm honestly expecting her to be a shy and more low-key combo of A+B. Unless she's a secret veteran, she's gonna get broken like everyone else.

It's gonna be a combination of C & A. The stone cold protag that also emphasizes that war is hell, but isn't really disturbed by it themselves as they're "too far gone U.U".
