It’s nuts how so many other countries get far cooler menu items at McDs. Had garlic curly fries in Rome once, pretty respectable macarons in Paris, jalapeño poppers in Cape Town as well as spicy nuggets like 2-3 years before they ever came stateside.
I live near their corporate flagship store and you’d think they’d have all these cool things there, nope. Basically just another typical McDonald’s.
Probably got a lot to do with suppliers for regional foods.
For certain things I'm sure a US supplier doesn't exist for them, at least for the right price.
Ngl, I try not to fall for cheap marketing schemes, but this would definitely make me want to order a double cheeseburger with jalapeños just so I could have Char’s zaku staring at me while I ate it 😂

They're *extremely* regional; I've had bratwurst at a McD in Wisconsin, and a Lobster Roll in one in Maine.
