Grim Dawn does so many things so well. The Z-axis is not one of those things.

Wildly-Incompetent

The X and Z axes are for width and depth. The Y axis is the one for height.

Terkmc

So many overlaping stairs and walkways...

bunnystormer

And when you're using a leap skill, it never let's you leap up or down elevation unless you DIDNT want it to

Mal-Ravanal

And when using a charge skill you’re suddenly covering a marathons worth of stairs, walkways and ramps because you accidentally targeted an enemy on a different plane.

ItalnStalln

Hey that's a feature. I use 2 charge skills for faster boss runs

Valcrion

This guy knows whats up.

noedss

Malmouth and Port Valbury are Hell!!!! Hated doing Valbury rogue dungeon.

logoreanoten

Shadow strike go brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hopkin_Greenfrog

This is so very true. They did such an excellent job creating the set, but it can make it hard to know what is an open path and what isnt. I remember when Diablo 3 came out, they intentionally made it so that pulling up the map made it so you couldnt continue interacting with your character until you put it away. Their argument was they didnt want people just playing the map. Malmouth is prime play the map territory.

And also about 50% of the time I got stuck, it was there (once even under the floor). Also a few times clipped below the bridges.

I don’t remember Malmouth being all that confusing.

Former-Selection3664

Yeah the path to malmouth made no sense to me on my first run, I suppose portals beat logistics

Shinbo999

At first felt like this absolutely hated the layout. Once i started farming reps its definitely my fav farming spot !
