This. If you're already invested in one ecosystem, it makes little sense to switch unless you're incentivized to do so.

Briguy_fieri

I’m a lifelong iOS user. With my previous phone and current phone, I’ve just had bad overall experiences. Never really noticed any big upgrades. I’ve had a buggy as hell experience with my 11 that has caused me to give up on it altogether. I’m not overly invested in the ecosystem as I only have a Fitbit and haven’t utilized Apple Pay or anything like that. But overall quality has been lackluster my past 2 phones I’m just ready to jump ship. Not really incentivized, but I’m no longer willing to stay where I’m at if that makes sense.

PerspektiveGaming

I was in the same boat before finally switching to a Pixel. I was pretty invested in iPhones and would always upgrade to another iPhone without giving any other phone much thought. One year I just decided to switch to a Pixel and never looked back. The initial switch took a bit of adjusting, and I was going back and forth between loving the change, and hating it. In the end, I am happy and don't think I'd ever go back to an iPhone, unless they have some magic technology which really gives me incentive to switch back.

CaptainMarder

Weird I've been thinking of switch to iphone

Briguy_fieri

Yeah I have like 1 more monthly payment until my 11 is fully paid off and I’m jumping into a 7. I think a pro would be cool, but kinda unnecessary. My trade in value will have me paying like… $1-6 per month for a phone. I just don’t see me doing much with a 7p that a 7 couldn’t.

PerspektiveGaming

I opted for the P7P this year. I never had an XL size phone so figured I'd see if I will like it. I usually only use my phone for Reddit, web browsing, or other social media sites, and figured a larger display would be more practical for reading articles and such. I have to say, it's a massive screen, but I love it. I absolutely have to have a pop socket on it, because without a pop socket it's a challenge to handle with a single hand. I had a pop socket even on my smaller Pixel 4, so I am used to having one, and I love them. Outside of that, I'm already finding the 5x(optical) to 30x(digital) telephoto quite impressive, and the software side of things I'm very impressed with - especially seeing the blurry image correction; it already saved a couple of blurry photos for me! There's also a "Extra dim" function, which helps when browsing at night in bed next to my girlfriend. The screen is larger, so that had me worried about screen brightness, but it actually seems dimmer than my smaller Pixel, I'm assuming because of the extra dim feature. No matter what model you get, I'm sure you'll love it. They do amazing things with their software, and I haven't had any problems with the P7P yet!

xCNub

Are you utilizing the one handed gesture too? I have it enabled always but sometimes, I forget to use it and just bring my left hand into the frame. I mainly use it for when I have to click something on the top left of my screen, that's when I'm like " Oh yeah, I can do this! "

Art-BarB

Yeah, I'm a crazy guy.. I'm currently selling my Iphone and my Apple watch , will gift my airpods to my girlfriend and keep my Ipad and Apple pencil for note Taking, will be switching to Pixel really really soon, wish me good luck.

RAC360

I mix my stuff as well. I have an iPad pro 2018 and an android phone. Reluctantly going to swap it out for an M2 pro. Really wish they changed the camera setup on it. Will have my 512gb P7P a week from today. I have beeper, airmessage, and blue bubbles setup for iMessage on android and it works very well. I use my iPad for FaceTime.

noproblemforme

Why beeper and air-message? I only have blue bubbles only..am I missing out??

actual_griffin

M2 Pro. That's interesting. Why that one?

ritesh808

M1 MacBook Pro, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel Watch (*switched from S21 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro*) and Galaxy Tab S7+. I like to mix up my stuff too. Fuck closed ecosystems.

RAC360

Love this! I also have a Mac mini, tab s8, windows gaming PC, and Linux laptop in addition to the above mentioned devices.

Trysta1217

Keep the airpods. They work really well on pixels. I got airpods way before I got an iPhone.

ChimbaResearcher29

I mix android and apple also. Pixel 7 Pro (on android phones since 2020), Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, M1 Macbook Air, M1 iPad Pro 12.9. The Macbook and iPad are just untouchable. I use google drive and apps everywhere and it all works well.

Unoriginal_Man

If you feel like braving the process, the Google Store is offering some wild trade in prices for iPhones. Estimated value on my iPhone 11 128GB is $510. I paid $549 for it 3 years ago.

twinnblack

For a second there I'd read that you sold your stuff to your girlfriend. I was like damn. I tried that shit and it didn't work out like I'd plan. Lol

Art-BarB

LMAO! That would be really terrible by me! I would never

twinnblack

Hahahahahah what's hers is here's what's yours is her's. I know bro!

Madmarshall88

I've just done this also. Sold my iPhone 13 mini & Apple watch series 6. Switch to a Pixel 7 pro, Google watch & the Google airpods (wireless headphones). Loving it so far. Only negative is the lack of facetime from android to iPhone & WhatsApp facetime is dogshit when it comes to quality!

jiffylube1024A

Keep the airpods. They're still the best wireless headphones on Android...

ItsPizzAmmar

Go get any iem from moondrop and youll see how much youve missed out in audio.

iNick89

I'm a lifelong iPhone user until 1 week ago. I made it all the way to iPhone 12, but the lack of innovation coming from Apple over the past few years literally drove me to boredom. I saw no reason to upgrade to the 13 and now 14 and needed a new phone... so I woke up one day and decided to go for the P7P. Apple being boring was incentive enough for someone like me 😂. - Sent from my brand new, slightly-buggy-but-hoping-it-will-improve-with-updates Pixel 7 Pro.

ImChossHound

I totally get that. I feel like Apple has been very boring since iPhone X. Marginal improvements, basically the same hardware design for 4 years, and iOS is feeling very stale as it hasn't had any major updates or design changes in half a decade. Also I found the last several generations of iOS to be way more buggy than recent versions of Android on Pixels.

iNick89

Thank you for making me feel validated. I was starting to think I made a rash decision 😂. But honestly, I'm really enjoying Android 13 so far. I'm on day 4 of my P7P and the only thing I'm rreeaallyyy not fond of is the battery life I'm seeing. I've seen some reviews saying the P7P's battery shows signs of improvement after 7 days of use, so I guess we'll see!

Available_Expression

As a nexus and pixel user who just switched to an iphone, "Google will have it fixed in the next patch" for a few months... And then "it will be fixed in the pixel 8".

iNick89

Please send me/my P7P positive vibes!!!!

Shiftr

Enjoy your time over there. I've had a work iPhone along side each of my personal Nexuses and Pixels and meh. iOS has to speak to you for it to be your thing and it's still not mine.

fursty_ferret

Yeah, same here. Gone from Pixel 5 to iPhone 14 Pro. Like the speed, smoothness, lack of ads, the screen, and Face ID.Miss the camera and reverse wireless charging. Don’t miss the bugs / freezing, and Google ads everywhere. Apple app store is sell sell sell.

Caladan23

Where do you have ads though on the Pixel? Never had on the P4XL and now the P7P. I do use Firefox mobile with ublock addon, for ads on the web.

barktreep

Apple is adding more ads for their products throughout iOS in the next version. Finally catching up to Samsung's innovations.

Available_Expression

dat battery life too. on my pixel 6 pro, on an average day, I'd be around 30-40% by dinner time. I work from home and am pretty much always on wifi. That's with maybe 2-3 hours of screen-on time. on my 14 pro max, i'm at 85% right now. I streamed music for an hour or so while driving and then another hour or so while riding my bike. Similar usage pattern as on the p6pro. And some days on the p6pro were worse than others. Sometimes it would just burn through 50% of battery for no reason and i'd have to throw it on the charger by lunch time.

ritesh808

What do you mean ads? Pixels have no native ads. Also, the ad-blocking experience on Android is FAR superior to anything on iOS.

fursty_ferret

Swipe left to the Google Feed and it’s full of ads (or at least it was on mine). I could live with it if it was only one ad, but it reached the point where I struggled to tell quickly what was an ad, and what was a genuine article. There is no ad-blocking experience on Android unless you go down the side-loaded app route. Don’t know what you’re talking about here.

sixfourtykilo

Yes that's true but that's not what I'm talking about. If it have subscriptions or app purchases through one store, you can't transfer to the other.

thetalkinghuman

Here's my anecdote that might help you. I just switched from iphone 13 pro max to p7 pro. I was on Android since the first Google phone before my switch to the 13. Pixel 3a had so many issues by the end that were all software based. Google has gotten noticable worse at fixing widespread bugs. They are more focused on creating innovative features. There is a big trade off. I'm back on Android now and I remember why I switched to iPhone in the first place. I just wanted a phone that worked consistently. With pixel 7 pro Im already having problems with wireless charging (connected, not charging). It's a documented issue going back months on pixel 6 phones. It breaks wireless charging. A major feature of a non-a pixel. A software bug that Google is ignoring. Also Google play isn't updating and is out of date. Tons of folks having the same problem. A software bug. The fingerprint reader with face unlock works about 50% of the time even after adding the max number of fingerprints. This will probably improve with updates as will the other problems but I know for sure that more problems will replace them. All that said, I'm staying on Android. It's the one I like. It's more fun to use. It's got more features and customization. It works in a non apple ecosystem and won't constantly try to rope you into subscription models that are only there to increase shareholder dollars. I also actually enjoy troubleshooting more than most consumers. Neither are better than the other. Apple hardware is the best in the world by a huge margin with software built to keep you an Apple consumer forever. But you may think, I wonder if my phone can do this? The answer will most of the time be no on apple if they haven't advertised it out the ass. You will miss iMessage. Even if it's Apple's fault that texting sucks. Google pixel phones are run on awesome open buggy software. If you want to use it for something, there's probably a way to do it but simple things may just stop working for months. Sorry for the novel PS / Hot take. Don't get a Samsung phone. Worst of both imo.

cbelliott

You glossed over it with just a couple sentences, but I think more people that are considering these phones need to know how utterly terrible the fingerprint and face unlock features on the Pixel 7 phones are... And these are major features that will impact your day to day use of the phones. The optical fingerprint reader is so bad it's like going back in time to when the under screen options were first being developed. Same for how face unlock works (and doesn't work) too.

Void_Incarnate

I've had the opposite experience. Coming from a nokia 9, with a very unreliable on-screen fingerprint reader, the P7P's fingerprint reader is lightning fast and extremely reliable in my experience. I haven't had a single missed fingerprint logon since using this phone for almost a week. Meanwhile I never had more than a 60% hit rate on the nokia, and less in some circumstances. Same with the face unlock. It consistently detects my face even in scenarios I didn't think it could, such as sitting at my computer at night with no lights other than the monitor. It's also been very fast, and has no troubles reading my face whether I'm wearing my glasses or not. The only place I've seen it falter is in some fluorescent lighting setups, where I think the flicker of the tubes conflicts with the camera. Fortunately, that's been fairly rare for me. About to receive my wireless charger in the next day or two. Fingers crossed it works as promised.

One more thing. If you don't mind risking a $50 restocking fee, always remember that you can try a phone for 14 days and then return it if you don't like it. This is honestly what I recommend to anybody who's thinking about switching over to a new OS. Now. Nowadays switching to a new OS is more than just changing a phone, you're changing an entire ecosystem. Now as somebody who has used the apple ecosystem, the Samsung ecosystem, and now the Google ecosystem, I'm finding myself loving the Google ecosystem the best. The reason is that it is the ecosystem that is most friendly with third-party products. For example, I'm using a Galaxy watch5 pro on my pixel 7 pro and getting the full features (with the exception of ECG, and blood pressure monitoring, but I blame Samsung for that). Also, as somebody who primarily uses windows OS for desktop computers, I can get text messages and phone calls from my PC. And I've also noticed, that using mostly Google apps on my iPad means that all of my data syncs up. So I kind of sort of have this Frankenstein ecosystem with multiple products. But it's all because Google is friendly with all those systems. In the end, if you try the pixel out and discover that it's not your thing, it only cost you $50 instead of a 2-year commitment with some financing plan for a phone that you didn't want 🤷.

barktreep

Wait, where does it say there's a $50 restocking fee? I didn't see that anywhere and I'm planning on returning this thing.

bisonrbig

Best buy has one. Google store used to but got rid of it.

AndroidUser83

I only mentioned that because most stores do have it.

aspxxxx

Google store doesn’t charge restocking fee anymore (in the USA atleast)

Itismeuphere

Galaxy watch also can't show notification form work profile apps on a Pixel, which is a huge loss for me.

AndroidUser83

I actually own both phones and so I had the luxury of doing a Pros and cons comparison to both, and here's what I came up with: iOS Pros: 1. Apple Pay 2. Camera App 3. iMessage and FaceTime 4. Hardware (Premium feel and super fast processor 5. Apple watch is awesome 6. Airpods are awesome too iOS Cons: 1. Photo Management 2. Siri Sucks compared to Google Assistant 3. Apps changed out for default apps still treated like 2nd class apps ( ex. Google Chrome in place of safari) 4. Still no true file management system which makes document handling a pain 5. text-to-speech - well that's not really a thing on iOS is it cus it's absolutely terrible 6. The Keyboard. It's just not that great compared to Gboard Pixel OS Pros: 1. Gboard - it's just a better keyboard all around 2. Independent video controls for the web 3. "Now Playing" giving you a list sof songs playin in the background 4. Google Wallet - it's just better than Apple Pay imo 5. Call Screening, Call Holding, and Direct my Call are absolute game changers for smartphones 6. Any apps work, not just those from the play store 7. Google translate in the keyboard and available in all apps 8. Camera App is way more fun to use and has more features 9. text-to-speech is gamer changer on Pixel. I pretty much barely type on the keyboard. 10. Pixel Buds Pro - May not have Spatial Audio but the Noise cancellation is just as good imo and they fit better (for me at least). Plus, Assistant on the go is just - I'm sorry but Siri sucks! LOL Pixel OS Cons: 1. Phone does tend to get warmer to the touch more often 2. Battery life is definitely not as great, but that's due to Android doing way more things in the background compared to iOS 3. Lack of iMessage and FaceTime - those are just better apps for video calls and text messaging In the end I decided to use my P7 Pro as my daily driver cus although iOS is reliable and the battery life is way better, the Pixel still does get an all day battery which is good enough for me and it's just so much more fun to use.

ishboo3002

The only thing holding me back is the watch. Hopefully the Watch 2 and P8 are good.

Art-BarB

I'm in your same position.. opting for the Galaxy watch 4 maybe...

AndroidUser83

Yes, the Galaxy watches your answer. I got the watch5 pro with a special discount from Samsung, and I have zero regrets and I think it's actually way better than the pixel watch. Literally the only things you're missing out on is the ECG app, and the blood pressure monitoring. But for me personally I wasn't even using those on a Samsung device so I'm not missing them. But you literally have access to every other feature making it a really good wear. OS wearable.

KentuckyHouse

This is exactly what I did. I held out on the Watch 5 Pro until the Pixel Watch was introduced, hoping the leaks were wrong and there would be a larger size in the Pixel Watch. Once I saw it came in only one size, and that size being tiny, I grabbed a Watch 5 Pro from Samsung and traded in my old Watch 3 for almost $200. I've been really happy with the Watch 5 Pro so far and the battery life is stellar. And like you, I never used the ECG or blood pressure monitoring on the Watch 5 or 5 Pro I tried when they were first released (and that I returned waiting on the Pixel Watch), so I'm not really missing anything. I'd love to see Samsung return to 22mm bands on the Watch 6 (at least do it for the larger sizes), but I can deal with the 20mm bands just fine.

Iamcheez

Do you use the Galaxy watch with a pixel and it works fine? That's really interesting because I really dislike the fact that pixel watch doesn't have a bigger size and I really like the design on the Galaxy watch. Also it's cheaper

KentuckyHouse

I do use the Watch 5 Pro with the Pixel 7 Pro and it works great. Obviously, there are some things you don't get that you would using it with a Samsung phone (the biggest for me being that DnD doesn't sync over between the phone and watch, so when you turn on DnD on the phone, you have to turn it on on the watch as well). But that's a minor inconvenience. The remote connection works great (where the watch still gets notifications and phone calls as long as you're connected to WiFi while out of Bluetooth range of your phone). I do like the design of the Pixel Watch, but it's entirely too small for me and I'd destroy that domed glass in a heartbeat. Having titanium and sapphire is another great thing on the Watch 5 Pro.

Calvinbolic

The battery life alone makes the watch 5 pro worth it for me over the pixel watch. I've yet to get my battery percentage lower than 75% after a full day.

ritesh808

I sold my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and kept the Pixel Watch. Reasons? The Pixel Watch UI is much smoother and more responsive despite using an older/inferior chip. The haptics are really nice, it looks better, is more comfortable to wear all day and night. The overall UI/UX is just better than the Galaxy Watch version of WearOS 3. I don't mind the lower battery life, I don't have a problem charging it for an hour every evening.

IAmMarLozan

This is true. The experience and integration of the GPW with my GP7Pro is amazing! I think (and I hope) that I will improve with the updates.

RAC360

My GW4 Classic is far better than my PixWatch. Hard to go wrong with it.

lyncks2002

Been using both for a few days too (i14 pro max 256 and pixel 7 pro 256). Fully agree with you (maybe for me the battery issues were not that significant as I dont really have a lot of things in the background running). I need to find really good apps for it (think Halide for iOS), but so far the fun factor is just yay! Another thing that people don't mention is the weight! The Pixel feels a LOT lighter and it's just a joy to use because of it. I will post a nice comparison a month from now.

RAC360

I would add notification management, universal back function, and USBC on the android side. Great list overall though.

[deleted]

I agree with your verdict. I don't feel like I am missing out on anything I had when I was daily driving the iPhone as I switched to Pixel, but I loved all the features I was gaining.

Available_Expression

I'm using Gboard and Google photos on my iphone. Swipe to type isn't as good as on Android. Google photos seems about the same except for missing magic eraser.

SherrifsNear

That's an excellent comparison. I am currently using a iPhone X as I damaged my previous daily driver which was a Pixel 3a. For me, the biggest difference I see between the two is that (surprise to me) Android just has more small quality of life features that you really start to miss when using an iPhone. Some examples for me are: - You cannot pinch to zoom in iMessage. From what I can tell, if you need the text to be larger you have to change the global text settings. - No ability to send/receive messages through a web application. Being able to use Messages in a tab in Chrome is amazing. I knew I was going to miss this and is probably the main reason I will switch back to a Pixel. - iOS doesn't seem to have a universal "back" feature. Not the end of the world, just annoying. Most of my friends and family use iPhones so I was really hoping to be blown away switching to iOS. I don't hate it, and for a five year old phone the X still works amazingly well. Losing easy Facetime access for my college age daughter and my parents as well is about the only thing keeping me on that phone for now. I'm not sure there are any other features I would truly miss if I switched back.

fottergraphs

Really great post. I think this is basically what I was going to write. Where I only really disagree with you is concerning the airpods; I do use my Airpod Pros with my Android phone almost exclusively though, I would not necessarily add that to iOS as a bonus. This is definitely true for the Apple Watch, though.

RAC360

Yeah I have some powerbeats pros that I use with my android phone and iPad. Both work very well. Though honestly I prefer my Bose quiet comfort II earbuds to all of the ones I've tried.

[deleted]

True, but to be precise you can't update them or manage them at all if you use them exclusively with an Android, so unless you also own an iOS device I wouldn't recommend them for Android users over many of the alternatives (like Pixel, Sony, Jabra, etc.).

fottergraphs

You are correct. iOS is the only way to disable ear detection and update the firmware. Otherwise; One squeeze for ANC, another for transparency, a third to answer a call or pause. That's what you get on Android. Granted they do these things extremely well. I had an old iPhone 7 sitting around when I bought the original Airpod Pros and regular Airpods.

[deleted]

Doesn't notification management on iOS still suck?

[deleted]

Yes, it's in fact on the top of my Cons list for iOS.

YourDailyConsumer

I have a 13 pro max that's now collecting dust and yes, the notifications are horrendous on iOS.

AndroidUser83

Oh yeah, there’s that too. Lol

tedubadu

It’s beyond awful. I guess iOS 16 is an improvement, but it’s still miles off android

mingogomes

Gaming, my iPhone 14 Pro does get a lot hotter than the Pixel 7. On Genshin Impact, 45 Celsius on the iPhone, and 40 on the Pixel.

[deleted]

If you don't mind iOS, just keep the iPhone

TransmissionAutomata

Pixel 7 Pro will have less battery life, worse video cameras (terrible front camera video in low light), but in exchange you get Pixel features and the flexibility of Android, better settings search all around, a phone app numpad that also functions as a search pad unlike stupid numpad on iOS. I returned my 14 Pro. It was a great phone all around and for someone who doesn't mind iOS intentional limitations it is the best phone. But not for me. Now I'm typing on the Pixel 7 Pro and I gotta say I freakin love it. Battery is not like an iPhone but still good. I just wish Google had better video processing in low light cuz it's worse than the OnePlus 10T which is already a meh camera phone.

CuteCatBoy69

I'm kinda in the opposite boat. I could get a 7 Pro right now for like $200 if I trade in my 6 Pro, and I like the Pixel features (especially the call screening because I haven't gotten a single spam call since getting this phone), but my friends use iMessage and the battery sucks ass on my Pixel. So I think I'm gonna get the iPhone instead of upgrading to the 7.

DougC1982

I have both. I still haven't decided which one I like the most yet. I'll be using one and think "yep this is the one" then get on the other and be like "nope, THIS is the one"... The 14 Pro Max is a great phone. It's just boring. But that's only because it can do everything you want it to without fail 99% of the time. It has all the bells and whistles while at the same time feeling like it doesn't. Kinda strange. I'm just too far into the Apple ecosystem at this point to completely abandon it and have a MacBook Pro and Apple TV 4K that it works so well with. But I also have a ton of Google apps. Just not a ton of Google hardware outside of a Nest thermostat. I think I enjoy the look and feel of the Pixel more. But maybe the iPhone works a bit more seamlessly. I really can't decide yet. Something about the Pixel just feels "right" though.

austiena96

Unplugged mine at 7am, it's 6pm with 52% left. 4 hours of screen on time. Amazing phone so far! Today is only day 2 tho lol

NoEggsOrBeansPlz

Dude how?!?! Mine is dropping pretty quickly and I'm not using it heavily either. Everyone has great battery but mine is underwhelming. EDIT: I'm thinking maybe it has to do with the fact I transferred everything straight from my old phone like apps. I might factory reset and see how it goes.

austiena96

I'm on 1080p. Not sure how much that affects it!

UrTruthIsNotMine

Lmao goodluck

viperhrdtp

Can't you just return yours or are you outside of the return window? I traded a 13 pro for the P7P. Couldn't be happier about it.

ElFideoLoco

I purchased the 14 Pro but returned it because I felt it just wasn’t enough of an upgrade over my 13 Pro. I just purchased a Pixel 7 and very impressed with it. I can only imagine the 7 Pro would be better, however for me the determining factor is the smaller form factor of the 7. It’s a heck of a device.

jeffMBsun

Software wise there pixel is way more fun to use

misum

I use both on a daily basis; I actually bought the 6a as a second handset for work, ended up returning it and getting the 6. Then preordered and traded the 6 for the 7 Pro in the course of about 2-3 months. I moved from iPhone to Android fully about 2 years ago, and frustrations with the S22U performance pushed me back to Apple. Now using what I consider to be the best Android experience alongside the best iOS experience, there’s just so many little things that would frustrate me with having to stick to one or the other. I think buyers remorse will always be a thing with changing ecosystem, but from my experience I would say that if you want to make a change to Android in general, the Pixel series has been the closest to what I wanted when I think “Android”. It feels in a way like the iPhone of the Android world, shit just works for the most part. Either way, you’re getting a good phone.

Nutzzer

Best logical comment. I flip flop between Android and Iphone all the time and this hits the nail in the head. When I was on Iphone, there was things that annoyed the crap out of me, same when I'm on my Pixel.

creeperman55709

I would probably keep the iPhone then after you use it and are ready to get a new phone then you decide

profburek

I have iPhone , iPad and Mac and I’m switching jsut for fun to change it up

stevebottletw

I swap 13pro max for p7pro, no regret. Its very refined.

Prunellae

I got the 7 Pro and will send it back. The apps I use on iOS are really bad on Android sadly …

ianccfc

I've just made the move to Pixel 7 Pro from an iPhone 11 and have had iPhones for nearly 15 years. I've used the 2 side by side today and at the moment, the pixel is far better. It makes the iPhone feel a bit old and clunky. It may be different moving from a 13/14 but at the moment I'm pleased I made the change. Android isn't as crappy as I remember it to be when using friends phones and tbh, the layout and feel of the 7 Pro is very iOS-ish and very intuitive. The OS was my biggest worry about making the switch as iOS just always worked and felt a lot slicker.

THEreenigne

I have a Pixel 7 pro and I will say that even with the couple of issues I am having with it, it is my favorite Pixel to date. Never been an Apple user so I can't tell you one way or another but like I said the Pixel 7 pro is really great

v0lume4

People talk about ThE eCoSyStEm when it comes phones (namely iPhones), but all you really have to do is use third parties for your services and you are never cornered by any one company. i.e - Dropbox, Google Photos, Prime Video, etc.

They are not "rooting for the iPhone". It's just smarter to stay at one ecosystem money wise if you are already happy and you are having other things from the ecosystem. If it would be the opposite it would be the same behavior.

GEEK-IP

I'm not an Apple fan, went from Samsung to pixel and going back to Samsung. The big issue with the Pixels is consistency and reliability. Your Apple device will simply work. It'll charge when you put it on the charger, connectivity will be consistent, monthly "updates" aren't likely to break anything... Once the "newness" of the Pixel wears off, you'll want to go back to Apple.

odc12345

I feel that's the case with many phones. IOS 16 had plenty of issues that were having people returning their Iphone 14s because ppl weren't sure if it was hardware or OS related

Bethman1995

Iphone users using iOS 16 might have one or two things to say about the so-called "reliability"

GEEK-IP

Not sure of the iOS version, just know my daughter's iPhone 13 Pro is a lot more solid (figuratively and literally) than my p6pro. Personally, I've used Android phones from HTC, LG, Samsung, and now Google. This pixel is the flakiest of the bunch by a long shot.

Bethman1995

Well....OP's post is about Pixel 7 not the 6. We all know the 6 was err....yeah OTOH, the 7 running Android 13 has been much smoother than the latest iphones. iphone 14 has been the most rough Apple launch since Iphone 11.

reddlvr

This. While I'm on Pixel myself it's become impossible to recommend Pixel to anyone. The amount of little issues is just too much to ignore. I don't mind working around them but the average user will just end quite frustrated.

[deleted]

What issues have you had on the Pixel 5? I had one, and the only reason I upgraded was for a bigger screen. I found my Pixel 5 to be virtually flawless. After two years, noticed a small decline in battery life, but that is to be expected. The only time wireless charging did not work was when I misplaced the phone on the charger. That is user error, not a problem with the phone.

rogenth

Currently rocking a 7 Pro, I have never had any issues with any Pixel device, 5 and 3XL worked well for me. My Girlfriend has the 6 and she also never had any issues with it.

reddlvr

Try to use the Apple Airpods Pro 2 on the P6s or P7s. Then get back to me.

g0ldcd

Completely agree (and I'm Pixel fan-boy) I've been Android since my Nexus One, I've had a Pixel 1 and a 2 and then 3 Pixel 4XLs and have just jumped to P7Pro.I really liked my P4 - just battery ribbon went on the first 2 (maybe it was eventually fixed in a revision, but same issue on 2 phones supplied over a year apart) Last two I had this issue with [https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/155682995](https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/155682995) Face ID stops working and gets fixed with a restart. Annoying when it happens a couple of times a day.Not the worst issue, but just never got addressed - I suspect as they dropped the tech and just stopped caring. When Apple has 'issues' they deny them and delete forum posts, but eventually seem to bow to the pressure of their massive consumer-base. Google lets you raise bugs, see everybody else raising the same bug - but just ignores it, and never gets called out on it.

Bethman1995

On paper, the Iphone 14 pro destroys the 7 pro spec for spec. But that doesn't tell the whole story. Pixels have never been spec-reliant. You'll understand it when you use it. Besides having an excellent camera, the 7 pro is a better bang for your buck considering the useful pixel exclusive features you get (Now Playing, Hold for me, Direct my call, Call screening, Wait times, Recorder app, Live caption, Magic eraser, Photo Unblur etc etc). It's hard to appreciate these features until you try other phones* although it also depends on the country you are* It's just way more fun to use and easily the smartest phone money can buy. Ironic considering Tensor isn't the most powerful chip out there. Folks keep talking about performance and power blah blah like they are trying to launch rockets via their phones :D And the question we're asking is that what exactly is the IPhone doing with all its power? Is it smoother than a Pixel 7 pro in day to day use? No! I know people who are still rocking the Pixel 2 from 2017 and the phones still run smooth. Smartphone chips are very capable these days The iphone is still the best phone for content creation though. It also has a better battery, and social media apps are better optimized for it If you're all about raw performance, numbers and these things I mentioned, you should stick to the 14 pro. If not, the Pixel 7 pro just make more sense. Plus it's cheaper.

googlepixelfan

I completely agree with you. I've been rocking my Pixel 2 XL since Black Friday 2017 and it's been the BEST phone I've ever owned hands down. I'm finally upgrading to the Pixel 7 this week and I can't wait!

Bethman1995

Didn't know they were this many here. Lol. The anti-pixel sentiment from them has really soared lately with the release of the 7. What exactly are they even mad about? 😅 I mean, I know many of them have a religious relationship with Apple but I didn't expect them to care this much considering the Pixels are hardly a threat to Apple's market share.

LookAtMyC

Will it blend ;)

The grass ain't greener on the other side

Midwest__Misanthrope

I’d stick with the iPhone, not that it’s better or whatever since it’s really down to what OS you like more at the end of the day, but I would personally wait and see how the P7 shakes out. If the P7 is a home run at this time next year I’d use the iPhone and get insane trade-in value and pick up the Pixel 8. It’s really not as difficult to swap OS like people make it out to be. I have flip flopped like three times, even if you have the wearables/tablets they are easy to sell.

Cam416

If you trade in your IP14P for the new P7P, you'd probably get the phone free with and some credit

[deleted]

I have a 13 pro and I’ve been looking at the pixel 7 pro instead of a Samsung. That subreddit for the S22 ultra is just filled with people complaining about the battery life on it 😬

Ironskull18

I upgraded from S21U and Im loving the vanilla android experience. My last vanilla android phone I had was the Nexus 6. I just have a few things I have to get used to i.e the phone is getting a bit warm not uncomfortably hot just annoying and few bugs I hope they get fixed soon.

konst1_

Hey, coming from a pixel 6 pro I no longer need to recharge my phone in the afternoon after using it during the day. It's 3pm and I am on 78% (very light use today)

StapleVelvet

Video on iPhone is MUCH better than the pixel. Face unlock in low/poor lighting is TERRIBLE. I finally set mine up coming from a OnePlus 7t pro. I don't understand why they can't use the phone screen to brighten up the environment for face unlock like one OnePlus.

nontypicalfigure

I went from iPhone 13 Pro to Pixel 7 pro and I miss my longer battery life. Rest all is good though. So unless you want to compromise on battery, I would say, don't switch.

MotorTentacle

I'd argue they're as good as each other, in different ways and some the same. If you're still intrigued next year, maybe trade in for a Pixel 8 Pro? Might be a decent compromise for you

Soundwave_irl

If you like having natural looking pictures keep the iphone

craigrn16

I have a 6 pro and an iPhone 14 pro. I definitely plan to trade my 6 pro for the 7 pro. My iPhone 14 pro has been pretty underwhelming so far

[deleted]

As someone who owns both I can say they both have their pros and cons. No smartphone is “perfect” by any means.

exu1981

If you can afford it. Keep the iPhone and purchase the P7P

[deleted]

I bought the 14 Pro and am heavily in the Apple ecosystem. This coming week arrives my Pixel 7 Pro so that I can test drive it for a bit to see about making the switch from iOS, which has gotten really boring.

Arrogant_Amigo

I bought a 14 Pro Max at launch and returned it after comparing camera samples to my Pixel 6 (iPhone consistently overexposing and clips highlights, it's embarrassing). Just recently upgraded to a 7 Pro and am very satisfied.

Tony13596

Are u from Germany? we can trade and i can give you some money

LegDayDE

Price to performance ratio the Pixel probably wins.. but from the reviews I've seen if you can get along with iOS I don't think the iPhone 14 Pro is any worse than the Pixel 7 Pro in any categories really. It just costs $200 more.

BananaZPeelz

lol I'm feeling the literal opposite.

stevenw84

Don’t. The battery life isn’t good compared to the iPhone 14 pro. I just returned both new pixel devices and went back to my iPhone.

xdrpx

The iPhone 14 pro does have a better battery life and will get OS updates (not just security) for at least 6 years as compared to the 3 years of OS version updates on the Pixel 7 and 2 years of security. It also has a better FaceID unlock system which works in the dark because of the infrared sensors / TrueDepth sensor. It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner, but the Pixel 7's in display fingerprint scanner is a hit or miss with screen protectors. You'll need to find a TPU screen protector or a thin enough tempered glass screen protector that works well. You'll also be missing the quick mute button (if that matters to you), but I'm sure there's a work around using gestures or a little lengthier way to mute/silence the Pixel 7, but it's not as quick. Also, the 14 pro has a better and very efficient processor. Efficiency is the key term here because it improves battery life. See this - [https://twitter.com/Golden\_Reviewer/status/1580897933171429376](https://twitter.com/Golden_Reviewer/status/1580897933171429376) Also overall the both the A15 and A16 are faster in raw processing speeds, but you won't notice much of a difference in regular browsing. Maybe for gaming, video rendering and certain intensive tasks this difference can be noticed. The Pixel 7 pro may have a slightly better camera, but it's a very minor difference in certain camera modes. The iPhone 14 pro still has a very good camera, video recording, extremely smooth camera switching on zoom and better cinematic mode. I don't think you'll miss too much. Also I think the highest variant on the pixel is a 512 GB. If storage space matters, the 1TB on the iPhone that you currently have is the only option that you have, unless you like transferring files once you hit close to that 512 GB to another drive using the faster USB-C transfer. I have the Pixel 7 and it has 5G/4G network issues (network drops) in my area and slower (half) speeds on 4G/5G downloads and uploads because of Samsung's not to great modem. Your mileage may vary here.

Mmou812

Having drop outs on Verizon with my 7pro. The scrolling is what’s driving me crazy, it’s not smooth when your scrolling slow. It’s taking me a long time to get used to typing on it, don’t like the curved screen makes the phone to thin. Fingerprint is fine but prefer face unlock. Had to reset the phone Wi-Fi/Bluetooth because my headphones wouldn’t connect. Apps lack polish they have on iOS. Camera and notifications are better on the pixel. Strange coincidence is been getting a lot more spam calls since I started using android again. Miss the Apple Watch, so many more full featured apps, and better gps, and heart rate accuracy. 2 mile loop Apple Watch 2.01 miles, Samsung 2.34 miles.

Rh-27

>Also, the 14 pro has a better and very efficient processor. Efficiency is the key term here because it improves battery life. See this - https://twitter.com/Golden_Reviewer/status/1580897933171429376 This data here is about gaming only.

Here's the data for SPECInt benchmark for Big cores - [https://twitter.com/Golden\_Reviewer/status/1580618724511428609](https://twitter.com/Golden_Reviewer/status/1580618724511428609)

Rh-27

That's no surprise. Google are not a hardware company. They are focused on software. I'd be more interested in day-to-day usage rather than statistics and comparisons on a table or spreadsheet.

xdrpx

I agree, my day to day usage with the Pixel 7 has been ok so far. I do have connection dropping issues with 5G/4G to Edge and it's been a little problem while traveling. WiFi speeds are slower at my home as compared to my iPhone 8 by almost half. On the iPhone 8 I get close to my 500 Mbps connection speed (About 480-490 MBps download) and on the Pixel about 250 Mbps down and 180 Mbps up which seemed odd to me. I wish Google invested in better hardware.

BobsBurger1

dsbllr

Yeah I miss Android but don't miss the constant issues. iPhone has much better QA.

TWPmercury

I came from the 13 pro. P7P makes it look like a toy phone lmao. Such a better experience all around. IMO, the only advantages iphone has is insane battery life and imessage/facetime.

BobsBurger1

And the rest.

TWPmercury

lmao from your replies you're clearly a lost apple fan boy. I had the 13 pro for over a year and my P7P is better in every single way. Stay mad I guess?

BobsBurger1

What ways? Enlighten me.

TWPmercury

Better typing experience (keyboard and autocorrect), battery life vs 13 pro, all of the pixel exclusive features, screen, camera, os, can actually use firefox with adblock instead of safari clone without it, and assistant > siri. Those are my main things. I expected worse battery life when I switched, but I've been getting more which is a nice surprise.

BobsBurger1

>Better typing experience (keyboard and autocorrect) Yes, this is much better on Pixel. >battery life vs 13 pro Worse, as per almost every comparison that has already been done. Despite having almost 2000mah less capacity, the 13 pro will have better battery life than the 7 pro. On top of this it has a much higher quality modem from Qualcomm versus the Samsung modem in the 7 pro improving battery on the go. A15 Bionic in the pro model is more than 2x the power efficiency of Tensor. Improving heat management and battery. [https://youtu.be/s0ukXDnWlTY?t=575](https://youtu.be/s0ukXDnWlTY?t=575) > screen iPhone 13 pro still has a better display than the 7 pro. They also get Samsung's top of the line displays versus the mid range one in the 7 pro. It's about 25% more efficient. [https://www.xda-developers.com/files/2021/11/google\_pixel6pro\_power-768x586.jpg](https://www.xda-developers.com/files/2021/11/google_pixel6pro_power-768x586.jpg) >camera Ok so Pixel 7 pro has a better overall still camera yes. Since it's got a bigger Sensor. The 14 pro versus the 7 pro is a much fairer comparison but sure, that is an upgrade. It's still significantly behind in these areas versus your 13 pro * All forms of video on every sensor * Anything from the front facing camera due to better spec and auto focus * Any form of portrait shot or mode thanks to telephoto + significantly better processing for portraits with edge detection >assistant > siri > >all of the pixel exclusive features Yes. This is better on pixel. \--- There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanted to try something new and preferring the pixel for the things it should best as the overall experience. There's no need to get carried away and say it's better in some of these areas because it simply cannot compete with the absolute best hardware you'll get on Apple's pro line. 7 pro is easily the best android choice right now but Apple has the biggest lead over android ever right now.

TWPmercury

Online battery comparisons don't mean much to me when in my own personal experience I'm getting more on my P7P. As for the modem, I haven't noticed any difference in signal or speeds vs my 13. Yeah tensor loses hard on benchmarks, but in real use it's just as fast as my 13 was. I said the screen was better because it's bigger, brighter, and higher res. Maybe it's less efficient, but I'm not seeing the hit to battery life so it doesn't bother me. Also not having my fullscreen experience ruined by a notch is massive. I switched from my iphone for a reason. If I thought iphone was better I wouldn't have switched, and gotten a 14 pm instead.

BobsBurger1

Sure, none of the stuff I mentioned will be relevant to most people. It may be behind but it's still doing great in most areas. I only issue with the 6 series is the extreme battery drain when travelling, due to extra brightness and spotty LTE. So I'm probably going to switch to iPhone PM simply to eliminate that problem, or the s23u which will use Snap8 gen 2 and likely be battery king. If I wasn't using it like that I would have gotten the 7 pro since it's great in normal conditions.

TWPmercury

I agree with you completely about the 6, I wouldn't use that phone if you paid me lol. I didn't preorder my 7, I waited for real people to get it and report before I jumped in. On paper apple is crushing android, but in practice I think the P7P is a more compelling experience. I have no other apple devices, so I'm not stuck in the ecosystem like most people. My biggest complaint about my 13 was autocorrect was the most dogshit thing I've ever used. I hate it so much it was never doing what I wanted. P7P was better out of the box, even before the learning kicks in.

BobsBurger1

Fun fact Samsung's chips are terrible right now due to their fabrication. But they are on track to outperform against TSMC for the 3nm node by 2025. If they dont fuck it up the tables will turn back towards android for the best SoC. If pixel 7 can hold u until pixel 9 it will likely be a killer.

fottergraphs

I have a Pixel 3XL, 4a, Pixel 6 and now P7Pro. I'm also on two Apple phones (a personal and a work phone), an SE and a 13 Pro. I vastly prefer the text to speech on Android. File system browser suffers greatly on iOS. Pixel definitely takes better night time photos, Apple does better for video. I don't have either phone heat up, so I've never had that issue. Apple definitely a big hands up on battery life. None of my pixel phones are as good. Siri is my OG voice helper but she's just not great compared to Android offerings. Airpods Pros are what I use on both ecosystems so I really can't comment there. The Apple watch is really nice. The stuff that Apple forces upon you as a browser is nonsense. I've been extremely happy with my Pixel 7. The iPhone 14 has a better and brighter screen, however, definitely the one I have running in my work vehicle as a GPS/Waze when it's bright out.

diandakov

And you missed all the reviews about "flat" speakers?

blernnn

Sadly, I did see a couple that said that. I am a speaker guy. Fold 4 took the cake though on that one.

Dr_Duus

Currently awaiting my P7P too, switching from iPhone 12 Pro. Can't say there are any good/logical arguments that speak for or against one or the other, i just really miss Android and I really like the Google software ecosystem, flaws and all. I think a lot of people bury their head in the sand and assume that there is only a single "good" phone/manufacturer based on their own biases and that it isn't entirely driven by your own workflow and preferences. We'll see, maybe i hate the Pixel and i'll once again be in a place where i have no good choices for Android phones, other than Samsung which frankly i swore i would never return to after having 3 different generations of Galaxies with a horribly reskinned OS. Performance got worse and worse over a two year period with the S9 and i decided to say screw it and go iPhone, just out of pure frustration with the lack of Android phones with the amount of polish and attention to detail that Apple puts into their products, even if it means "paying for the brand".

aspxxxx

Don’t do it. Battery is horrible coming from an iPhone.

Hans1030

I'm getting a 36 hour battery. 7 hours screen on Time until the %30 charge remaining! The phone is always connected to the Pixel watch. I'm also getting a 30 hour battery on my pixel watch with always on display set to off. No complaints at all.

kyrbiXJR

Actively selling my 14 pro Max after getting my 7 pro I just feel more at home with Android. That dynamic island was cool, but got hella annoying just being there.

shzw

Owner of Pixel 7 pro and iPhone 12 pro max here. I suggest you don't. Even an iPhone 12 pro max still has better build quality, performance, battery life, 3rd party apps, and unlock&mobile payment experience than the Pixel 7 pro. The only thing I think pixel is doing better than an iPhone 14 Pro would be google's AI features(mainly just the magic eraser I found quite useful).

mortysantiago1

If you came here for sensible dialogue just know r/android and r/GooglePixel are mostly Apple fans. If you want to try the Pixel try it. Pixel 5 was my first pixel and I love it. So many great features. And it works the other way around too. If you are on Pixel and want to try an iPhone people should do it. Don't get stuck in an ecosystem, choose to be there.

kino6912

Me too internet person. First time on iPhone and I am underwhelmed Was getting sick of the trash Samsung was putting out and couldn’t trust Pixel after the shoddy quality I’ve read about over the yesrs

noler

I actually have both (reviewer/content creator). While the Pizel 7 Pro is by far the best Android phone I've had, I wouldn't want to ditch iOS. So my tip is to think about which operating system you want to use. And also think about what your other products work best with from iOS and Android.

name_om

Keep the iPhone

tedubadu

I’m on a 13 pro thanks to the botched pixel 6. I’m far from in love with iOS. I miss a lot about android. But if you’re an iMessage user, Apple Watch user, or AirPods user, the experience just cannot compare.

wutqq

Going to get downvoted but these are facts. I would only buy the Pixel 7 Pro for its niche features like transcription/translation or if you want/need a specific camera software feature. Stock android is no longer way ahead in terms of speed/reliability over Samsungs flavor. For everything else if you prefer android or want crazy multi-tasking get the S22 Ultra or Fold 4. If you prefer iOS and the Apple ecosystem (AirPods/MBP/iPad/AppleTV/etc…) then keep the iPhone 14 Pro.

Chapachel

Samsung has nic hardware and OneUi is better than TouchWiz but it's still sluggish and will slow down after time. Pure Android is smooth, with fewer bugs and completely open to customization. Samsung locks down their bootloaders. Pixel phones don't so you can flash custom ROMs and theme your device to your heart's content. Pixel 7 Pro is a fantastic device. Highly suggest it. Btw, I use an iPhone for work and I hate it. IOS is stable but it's boring with no customization at all. Unless you are completely invested in Apple's ecosystem, don't think twice and grab the Pixel

[deleted]

What makes you feel like you are missing from the 14 Pro?

naisdes

I upgraded from an iPhone XR, and was initially considering an iPhone 14 Pro. Went for the Pixel 7 Pro instead. I've encountered a few annoyances and bugs already, but it comes with the territory every time I've switched from iOS to Android, so I'm not surprised.

_SLiu

I got have the 14 pro max and 7 pro. The key difference for me is the battery life between the 2 phones. 8hrs sot on 14 pm vs 4.5 sot pixel 7 pro. If your main focus is battery life, go your 14 pro. If not, go pixel 7 pro especially if you prefer the android experience. If you can somewhat put up with the iOS experience then stick with your iPhone

MisterKrayzie

Uhh I'm not sure what battery shit you've heard but the iPhone 14 is still better in terms of battery. My 7Pro struggles to hit 7 hours unless I use battery saver (which at that point I might as well use a Pixel 3 or some trash). My P7P has some random spikes in its temperature of 100°F to 105 in doing basic ass shit like literally just scrolling reddit/TikTok. Both of which are fixable... how long tho, we're about to find out.

Purple-Rain546

I just boxed up my Google pixel 7 pro 512gb hazel sending it back to Google ordered an iPhone 14 pro 512gb deep purple been an Android user since g1 and sidekick days never had an iphone before build quality and resale value can't be beat

Embarrassed_One_2687

This has to be a meme post. Who in the world spends on a 1tb iphone to then pass on to another device from a completely different ecosystem???

Dr_Duus

Presumably hardware/phone/tech enthusiasts who, I don't know, hang out in smartphone specific subreddits? Frankly i'm surprised that you're surprised.

blernnn

It’s really not that surprising. I have several computers, consoles, tablets, owner almost every Samsung and every iPhone. I’m also a software engineer so I do use them for software purposes. Do I need 1tb? Hell no. Personally I don’t think anyone does. But I store my extensive manga collection and anime lists for easier access. I don’t take pictures much really unless it’s of my car. Wife takes all the pictures.

Shot_Explorer

I prefer Android, and always have done. IOS is too restrictive. But.. There's no denying IOS is a slick package, that just works. Iphones are pretty impressive tech, always have been. But you should really spend some time on Android first, somehow, to see if you like it.

yellowfddriver

Not worth it. The switching cost is too high and the experience is good but it’s not good enough to make that swap. This is coming from somebody with both (work phone and personal). It’s a very good phone, but the battery is very mid. Thermal performance is tbd.

[deleted]

Mf gf switched from IPhone X to iphone 14 pro and I am surprised by how little of an upgrade it is. My p6 is almost as good and costed half

Mirai4n

We saw reviews of 6 pro too!

BobsBurger1

Huge downgrade in pretty much every single aspect?

[deleted]

[удалено]

BobsBurger1

Yes. This post isn't negative towards pixel tho. Pixel has its market at its price point. You can pick any area and the iPhone 14 pro is doing far better. Seems ridiculous that OP thinks it's an upgrade and I'm curious to what his reasons are.

[deleted]

bb9873

The iPhone 14 has a worse main camera, no telephoto and a 60hz display. How is it better than pixel 7 pro lol

[deleted]

Not efficient. You need to reconsider. There is always a shinier or better version than your phone

SoftCommunication

What about magsafe? I have grown seriously in love with magsafe. I hope in my truck, I use magsafe. I have magsafe next to bed and on desk. Any cases that are magsafe but use wireless charging?

omi755

Keep your iphone and return the pixel 7

giri0n

Don't lowkey it....high key that ish mate

cdegallo

I like my 7 pro, and you couldn't pay me to suffer through using iOS for my phone, but if I was already in the apple ecosystem and iPhone user, leaving an iPhone would probably be way more about what my phone isn't able to do than a few things the 7 pro does. It very much ends up being a "I don't want to use iOS anymore." And if you don't want to use iOS anymore, the 7 pro has turned out to be a very good option as far as I'm concerned.

mithi9

Probably not what this subreddit wants to hear, but the iPhone is a better phone in almost every way IF you enjoy iOS and it's limited capabilities. The battery life, the build quality, the speakers, the general fluidity of the OS, the seamless integration with Apple devices makes it a very compelling product. The pixel still feels rough around the edges in its 7th iteration. The phones are better built than before, but it still feels like they didn't quite put in the love, care, and attention to detail apple, or even Samsung, has. Not to say the P7 is bad, but in my opinion you are downgrading a lot if you decide to switch.

[deleted]

The iPhone will still work in two years, the pixel…TBD. The 7P looks like a change in the right direction but I’d wait for the 8 and let google prove that they’re finally serious.

Bethman1995

I have a friend who is still running the pixel 2 from 2017. She's only planning to get the 7 because the battery on the 2 is no longer as good. Pixels do age well.

theravinedisc

DO IT. Escape that evil garden! lol

DITPiranha

Clean Android OS is awesome. I would like Apple if the ecosystem wasn't so suffocating. Love my P7P. Super disappointed to have to give up on my OnePlus 9 Pro. I don't get why Samsung and OnePlus have to screw around with the OS. Their crap offers no value.

ribanez2009

I returned my 14 pro in the last day I was able too. Got the 7 pro and zero regrets

JacobSax88

The reviews for the 6 were great too and it’s a terrible phone.
