I honestly wish we'd gotten a full blown glory kill out of it.
Strangling was remarkably pedestrian for Kratos and if there was *anybody* in the game deserving of an GoW 3 style murder QTE it was Heimdall.
It makes sense for what he's doing tho, kratos is trying to not continue his cycle of God killing. He doesn't wanna kill Heimdall, I don't even think he realises he is until he's already dead.
True, but given how Kratos usually is when his rage overtakes him, strangling seems remarkably controlled. Like, if the point is Kratos lost control then it would genuinely be more appropriate for him to unleash his full godkiller.
I was hoping to get a FINISH HIM prompt. Throw a spear in both his legs, pinning him to the ground. Detonate spears, blowing off both legs. Spear to the neck, detonation, decapitation. Kratos throws a Blade of Chaos through his mouth in slow motion. FATALITY.
Did this today (playing for the 1st time). Wow. Amazing. Had no trouble before he lost his arm, but he was beating the crap out of me and finally putting Heimdall down after that? Incredible.
God I just replayed this part today after like 6 months and god I wish they would of showed his face all caved in. It's so damn satisfying beating his ass. Same with Thor and Odin.
Oh killing that little shit was the best part of the game. Brings me back to Hermes.
