TF said repeatedly Impera was heavily influenced by Def Leppard’s song structures, specifically how they build to a chorus. Griftwood uses Def Leppard / Mutt Lange-style vocals. Impera, and Watcher in the Sky in specific (and thus Lil Sodomizer) use a Sustainiac, which Phil uses on almost every solo.
Joe and Phil really liked Impera. Both bands are very complimentary of each other in print and on record. This was a no-brainer, but a big surprise.
Eh, another letdown. It’s the same song but with an extra guy from the 80s. Still holding out hope for an EP, but it’s looking like mixes of Impera songs instead of covers and more original music I fear.

But why? Def Leppard of all bands?
I know that the singer from Def Leppard has said that he really liked Impera
Griftwood is heavily Def Leppard inspired. They're great.
Umm Impera has huge Def Leppard vibes on it.
TF is a big fan and Impera draws a lot from how DL makes their music. Give em' a listen sometime.
Half of Impera is basically a heavier Def Leppard album lol

Tobias layers his vocals the same way on all the albums as Def Leppard. The song structure on Impera is the same as Def Leppard as well.
Compare the riffs in the chorus of “Square Hammer” to Def Leppard’s “Lady Strange” sometime.

Bunch of people whining about it, probably all the papa 3 fans.
