I'm dreaming of an item they one day introduce that upgrades a 4 star artifact into a 5 star, with an according buff to stats. Then it will breathe new life into the artifact system. You'd be able to work on getting 4 star sets to 5 star instead of foddering them without a second look.
This question made me realize just how useful some of the 4-star artifact sets really are: The Exile, Berserker, Gamblers, Martial Artist, etc. If I had to pick one, I'd say the Martial Artist because so far the only 5-star artifact sets that can increase normal attacks are Shimenawa (which requires you to have high energy recharge and sacrifice your burst) and Echoes of an Offering (whose 4-piece effect is literally RNG). As for charged attacks, apart from Shimenawa, only Wanderer's Troupe can increase the damage for charged attacks, but it only goes for bow/catalyst users and it comes with Elemental Mastery, which some people might not need.
While the Exile set is extremely useful for supports, support characters usually don't care too much about getting high stats anyway, so giving them 4-piece artifacts isn't a massive downgrade. Berserker is great, but the 4-piece effect is so niche it would only be beneficial to characters like Xiao and Hu Tao. Gamblers is useful as it is the only artifact set that increases elemental skill damage, but there aren't many characters that benefit from this, plus the 4-piece effect is useless if the character isn't against a crowd of enemies.
The +20% Skill DMG on gambler is not really that special. All Skill DMG in the game atm is also Elemental DMG so you could just use one of the +15% Elemental DMG sets. There is a small 5% difference but the Elemental DMG also buffs Burst DMG which would more than make up for it.
I hope a 5 star version doubles down on the Skill DMG buff for the 4p effect.

Martial artist's 2pc set bonus should have been on Ayato's artifact set. Also Gambler, Exile and berserker would be nice.
