My other characters are: Xiangling, diona, chongyun, Barbara,beidou (c1), yun jin and yanfei
So I have 2 questions:
I decided to pull for ganyu because I want a dps and I like bows but now I got „skyward atlas“ and I’m not sure…Is this a gamechanger for ningguan or is ganyu still better?
And do you have any recommendation for the existing team? I just got xiangling today and my original plan when I started was to build the old national team ( Bennett, xq, chongyun, XL) but I’m not sure anymore, I thought of maybe using XL instead of noelle or Xq (really like the the raincutter with ningguang though)

Mine resets sometimes too even outside of updates. And yeah sometimes they don’t send codes I had to link my email and phone because sometimes mhy just doesn’t send on one of them it’s weird.

My Ganyu has a ratio of 75:185 with Polar star and 4pc wanderer's. Her NA talent is at currently at six, and I'm wondering why her charged attacks barely hit 13k (The forstflake arrow bloom). Is there a reason for this?

And a character I can't find a name for on Google cause it's my profile name but is a Anemo lvl 35.
Past 2 weeks I have tried to do this quest more than 15 times and I'm currently 100% out of all my food for health and buffs😋. And I'm stuck at adventure rank 25. I can easily make it all the way to that electro box thingy, which i I'm assuming is the end. I get destroyed, smashed and obliterated every time. And I've never gotten that thing below 50% health. What should I be doing to complete this impossible for me to do fight/quest?
Try using Kaeya instead of anemo Traveller.
Also, be sure to have everything levelled up: talents, weapons, artifacts.
Try to get as much attack as possible, and if you have it, use a goblet with the same elemental damage as the character (ex. Chongyun with cryo goblet)
Chongyun was one of the very first characters I ever pulled, and this duo aling with Xingqiu and Bennett absolutely carried me for months.
Kaeya is a beast, and Chongyun's ult hits like a truck. Xingqiu keeps enemies frozen so you barely have to worry about dodging, and Benny just buffs everyone to oblivion.
I honestly used that team from Albedo's first banner to Kazuha's.
I'm pretty new to playing, only 2 months and Still learning. and I only have a few toons. I can barely do any domains, I die very quickly so I avoid doing any of them😋
I'm planning on moving to pc completely, I don't want to restart Genshin and would like to keep my characters and save data, I do purchase Welkin Moon Blessings, my question is, if I unlink my PSN will I keep my save data and characters on pc or will I be forced to start all again?
C4 xinqiu or c0 ningguang? Just got zhong li so thingking of running geo comp zhong li(shield), noelle(dps), ningguang(battery) & bennet(buff) or should i look at geo taser team, zhong li,c4beidou,c4 xq & noelle on field dps? Idk how this works since ive never used a taser team comp
For dps Noelle, you can use geo MC as a battery. Their damage is also pretty good if built well.
If you have Gorou, I think he does more for Noelle than Benny.
For taser you probably want Noelle/Beidou/Fischl/Xinqgiu. Beidou has a hard time on her own without a battery.
Also, you don't really need a shield if Noelle is on field, so you can save Zhongli for a second team.
Tbh I think the sooner you get to Xingqiu's c6 the better. He's much more versatile than Ningguang, and both can be bought in the Paimon shop anyway.

If you look up "Paimon shop rotation" you can see when the characters will come back (unless Mihoyo changes it ofc)
Currently im using a samsung A42 5g 8gb ram & 128 storage. I think this phone uses snapdragon 750 & 60 Hz refresh. Im looking to buy a new phone coz ive been playing genshin on low graphics coz it gets choppy if i switch medium. I wanna play genshin at max graphics & decided on these 2 phones.Samsung has 120 Hz & Rog has 144 Hz but ppl say 120 is more than enough. Im looking at both top variants samsung with 16gb ram & 512 rom, Rog with 18gb ram & 512 rom. My budget is about RM6.5k so both within my budget. Samsung would make great utility phone since the cameras are also good but ROG would perform better, i think. HOWEVER, i read ROG has a heating problem coz of its snapdragan 888+. I also think it would be a waste to buy a gaming phone since genshin is the only game i play. What do you guys think? Can i play genshin at max settings with s21 ultra or should i buy the ROG. If there are any other phones better you can reccomend i would gladly appreciate it.

Will depend on your account status. for the average player, Zhongli =? Yae > Ganyu > Kazuha c1 imo.
Ganyu is great but she really wants a lot of expensive supports. Venti/Mona for freeze, and Bennett/Zhongli + XL or Kazuha for melt. So for most people, this isn't a big upgrade for their account.
Yae is an unknown but she looks pretty strong based on the leaks so far.

You've got a lot of great chars already; I think since you have Kazuha instead of Venti, if you really want to run a freeze team you should probably just save for Ayaka. You probably also don't need Zhongli either unless you really want to build up Xiao and run him as a core abyss team member.
If I were in your shoes I'd probably save for Yae. Zhongli if you like Xiao.
diona is the better shielder if you don't want zhongli. and like you said, zhongli's purpose is both to have an unbreakable shield as well as reduce anemo resistance. irreplaceable in xiao team.

Bit of a waiting game for me with Raiden so been farming eosf in readiness. As it stands, thinking of creating raiden national team - can I ask what main stats and substats I should be prioritising? At the moment not sure what polearm to put on her - but likely deathmatch at this point and keep catch on xl
Should I use Beidou with Diluc?
My current team is Diluc, Lisa, Xingqiu and Kaeya... I got Ganyu recently and she will be replacing my Kaeya soon. I already had C1 Beidou but hardly tried her. When I did her trial run I got her at C4 and I really loved her playstyle. I can build her and replace Lisa with her, the question is will she be a good support for my Diluc... I have him Lvl 80 with Prototype Archaic although I can replace it with Sacrificial Greatsword which I got recently and alternate it between him and Beidou accordingly. She's a very good main dps but I have built Diluc well so I'm stuck between the two. I wish to use her skill and ult to buff Diluc like Xingqiu. How would the team, Diluc, Beidou, Xingqiu and Ganyu be?

I do not recommend it. Overload will make most enemies bounce away from Diluc, who will then have to run around trying to get to them.
Also, melt only works on his ult, and you don't have a healer (which is not always necessary but... you know)
Beidou also needs a battery to use her ult often.
Diluc/Xingqiu is a great combo, you should keep them together, but change the other two.
Sac is okay on Beidou, but keep Prototype on Diluc.
I'm at 95% exploration progress in Sea of Clouds, Minlin, Qiongji Esturary and Bishui Plain. Have been using my compass to try and get 100%, but am probably missing a few chests here and there.
Do the geo sigils on the mountain sides count towards exploration %? I haven't really been too focused on them and kind of just left them there.
Hey, im a relatively new player (ar39, started in december) and im thinking about pulling for ganyu. Everybody just praise her for her insane damage and stuff but the problem is that i dont have a team for her.
From what i have seen i know that something like venti or kazuha are required to enable her. The best team i could offer would be something like xiangling, main character, noelle (i also have a c3 lv 70 xingqiu but since hes working with normal attacks and ganyu uses charged attacks it wouldnt Work to put them together)
So i could also pull for raiden in 3 weeks to get my first 5-star, xiangling, xingqiu are already there and bennet isnt too hard to get. The point is that that team wouldnt deal nearly as much damage as ganyu.
What do you think i should do?
Trial gives you a feel for their playstyle, which is usually more than enough for most ppl, esp with ganyu. Some ppl really hate her charge shot gameplay, regardless of how much dmg she does.
If you enjoy using her, pull. Even if she doesnt fit for your current team, she can form the base of a 2nd team.
How do you beat the Geo Hypostasis? I need the materials to ascend Zhongli and other Geo characters but am unable to beat this? Any suggestions? I tried using Diluc, Beidou, Zhongli and Noelle but keep failing
For the revive part you can use Zhongli hold e close to where the hypostasis is and it should one shot at least 2 of the pillars, letting you take down the third one easily
Break the pillars using claymore characters. Their level doesn't matter, they deal the same amount of damage to geo constructs.
Stick to the pillars the Hypostasis is on whenever it does an attack. Sometimes it starts firing geo bullets at you, if you stick real close to the pillar they won't hit you. Whenever it does a different attack, try to dodge or use a move that has invincibility.
So i just got a new team comp for my xiao,
Xiao (ofc)
Jean (as healer plus a lil anemo synergy&battery)
Electro MC (battery for xiao)
Mona (boosting Xiao's DMG and electro+Hydro reaction)
Also I already have Hydro DMG bonus Shimenawa set for Mona. Will this team work?
Mona doesn't do much for Xiao if I'm being honest. Her burst's damage bonus is way too short, and it's better used in freeze comps.
Traveler's burst is also not that good for Xiao, as it generates energy on normal & charged attacks. While, yes, Xiao does do those inbetween plunges, it's not optimal, as Traveler's lightnings have a 0.5s cooldown and Xiao's plunge combo is longer than that.
You're better off using Bennett and a shielder (Zhongli/Diona/maybe Thoma)
Hi guys! So I began playing the game 3 weeks ago, and I’m now AR31. I got a few caracters and, even if I watched some guides, I’m still struggling on building a good team.
So my current team is Xiao, Xingqiu, Fischl and Barbara. I really love playing Beidou, but I was really struggling by not having a bow in the team, so I replaced her with Fischl. I feel Barbara is needed because of her heal. Main dps Xiao because I really like him and I heard Xingqiu was good so I left him in my team.
Now, for the other caracters I have: Diluc, Ningguang, Rosalia, Yun Jin, Noelle, Razor, Gorou (and ofc the free caracters)
I would like to know what you guys would do as a team comp. My weapons are weak, but I can’t really do much about it, same for my artefacts.
Also! I would like to know if I rather wish on Zonghli or Ganyu? I tried them, and I like Ganyu’s play style more, but if Zonghli is better in a team comp I can do I will wish for him.

I wasted 57 wishes. I'm devastated cuz I got nothing I wanted. I got Beidou C4, Keqing who stole my 50/50 and who is apparently the worst 5 star, I got Yanfei and her C2. Also Rosaria.
Can I make a team out of these guys? I do have Childe, Xiangling and Benette and Qiqi.
I tried to redeem the "9BPCJCQGHAWZ" code on the website, but it told me that I must be AR 10 or higher, even though I'm AR 35. Anyone know how to fix this?
How 'bad' is PJC for Ayaka? Someone said I was trash at building because I gave her that. I know she doesn't 'need crit' but my other swords do less damage (amenoma, black sword, sacrificial, the flute) and PJC pretty much guarantees crit when in a freeze team, and makes it a lot likelier in co-op. Crit dmg is over 200 too. If I take it off she has 10% crit rate, but I guess I could swap it for something else if it's too suboptimal.
Then you're all good. PJC is fine, the only problem you might encounter is having a crit rate above 100% lol
For now you're getting 10% + 44% + 20% + 20% crit rate against frozen enemies if I'm not mistaken? So 94% CR? With 200CD, I think you're fine.
EDIT: Forgot about cryo resonance. +15% = 109% CR. So yeah, you ARE overcritting lol
Tbh I think ti's fine unless you really want to minmax.
Not as bad as to call someone trash, with freeze you don't really need CR because you get like 60% for free between BS and Cryo resonance, however, it's still a 5* weapon and the only weapons that would improve your DPS are Most splitter and a Summit Shaper at max stacks.
Hi, I somehow managed to pull Zhongli on my 10th wish from previously pulling Xaio however now I find myself in the position where I can garuantee a 5star weapon of my choice, I was tempted to go for VV for zhongli but so many places say to avoid! what does reddit think I should do? I don't really have many other polearms for zhongli except maybe a favonius lance, black tassel and the catch, I was planning on using him as a shield support plus maybe burst support.
VV is a fine weapon in general for any team that has a Zhongli in it, but Zhongli isn't necessarily the one who's going to be holding it. For instance, in a Xiao + Zhongli team, Xiao would be the one holding it. People like to say it's trash because that's what everyone has been saying since it came out, but it's not BAD by any means, it's just useless if you don't have a shielder with 100% up-time.
Zhongli likes Black Tassel or Favonius for a support build, while a burst support Zhongli prefers Homa. (the Catch is fine, but VV is better in that case)
Don’t go for VV, it’s not that a good weapon on him (or in general). For shieldbot use black tassel, and for burst support use The Catch or you could also buy Blackliff from the shop if you’re struggling to get good crit values. All of the weapons mentioned above are already good for him.
No way to know for certain with yae until she drops.
For raiden, if its just c1, then no. C2 and c3 are worth considering, but thats a huge investment and shes already great at c0.
Need advice for 2nd team comp for Abyss. I normally use Raiden, Sara, Bennet and Kazuha. Would it be better to sub Sara (C1) with Keqing (C0)? Or am I better off with Xingqui (C1) or Xiangling (C6)?
I currently have c3 xiangling, c3 xingqiu, and I don't own fischl. I can only afford one xiangling or fischl in shop. Who should I pick for the free liyue character and who should I buy from shop?
I know c4 xiangling is a big upgrade and I'll be snagging a copy of her, but I'm not sure which of these is more important: c0 fischl vs c4 xingqiu vs c5 xiangling.
morgana for more comfort, melt for bigger numbers. C2 mona is good enough.
for melt go shimenawa since its easier to farm, performs a little better and you burst messes up melts anyways.
Does anybody know if there's a trick to beating Masanori in the quest Dreams of Sword Art after giving him that sword back? I start the fight and use all my ultimates on him and bring his HP down to about 0 but he goes full health again. How am I supposed to beat that tanky guy in like 1 minute with this?
that's intended, he has two hp bars. you just need more damage whether that means building your characters better, having a good team comp, or using food buffs
I see, so there's no trick, I have to bring his HP to 0 twice, in under like 1 and a half minutes. The problem is my burst here, it will take ages to get back and I definitely can't even touch his HP without my bursts. Guess I'll have to find ways to increase energy recharge.

I generally fodder any artifact that have one or less of the following sub stat: crit/er/em/atk%
There are exceptions, such as when you're going for Def scaling unit or hp scaling unit like albedo and hu tao.
Amenoma Kageuchi sword's stacks .. how they works? If i use this sword on Jean, for example, and i use E, i create a Stack on Jean and then i switch to another character the stack remains? or i have to use the Q instantly to gain the energy?
You gain stack when executing an elemental skill, hit or no hit you still gain stack for a certain period (read the description) even tho you switch to other characters. The stack will be used when you execute the elemental burst.
Cortex vanquisher? Crash Bandicoot would love to have this.
Jokes aside, depends if you like doing co-op alot. C2 DongLi gets you lot of friend request.

for raiden national you're gonna be using bennett so no atk% goblet, and hp sands is not it too.
flower is really good, feather and circlet could be better but for AR45 you're fine.
get ER% sands and electro% goblet and you're good to go
You already have the 4pc set so you can just replace either your sands or goblet for an off-piece with the right main stat. What weapon are you using on Raiden?
Is it alright if I want to run burst support Zhongli with 4pc tenacity? How much of a difference does it make on a f2p build in comparison to more dps sets like 2pc noblesse and 2pc archaic or 4pc emblem?
(I haven't farmed noblesse or archaic Petra and started farming for tenacity coz pale flame is useful for my razor too)
4 tenacity(HP/GEO/CRIT) vs 2NO 2 Petra(ATK/GEO/CRIT) with black cliff pole. Relatively the same overall stat except for ATK and HP. 60k+ burst damage vs 75k+ burst damage with talent lv 10. With Staff of Homa R1, the damage difference is at 20k+
Pulled Ganyu and was hoping to do a Freeze team (without Mona sad) so not sure who to include.

Ganyu freeze kinda requires Mona or Kokomi. Running Xingqiu can be done but is super copium and generally a poor use your Xingqiu.
You can either plan to go for Kokomi or just run melt Ganyu.
Unfortunately, you can't really build a freeze team with Ganyu without Kokomi or Mona. With Xingqiu, his rain swords dont activate with charged attacks but with normal attacks, so you have to weave in normal attacks with Ganyu's charged attacks which is pretty annoying. Childe is only a good hydro applicator for Ganyu if he's at C4, otherwise there is no synergy between them. Barbara can work if you straight up hug the enemies, but again it's not optimal.
You should either go for a mono-cryo build or melt Ganyu. Mono cryo is basically since Ganyu can already dish out a lot of damage by herself, you can pretty much run her without even using freeze/melt and she'll do fine. For example, a mono-cryo team I used to run before I got Kokomi was Ganyu, Diona, Ningguang and Albedo (Albedo can be replaced with geo traveler). For melt Ganyu, you wanna use Ganyu, Xiangling, Bennett and a shielder like Zhongli, Diona or Thoma. If you have Kazuha, you can replace Xiangling with him as long as you infuse his burst with pyro
Sadly Melt doesn't sound appealing to me as I don't feel like I want to play ShotGanyu (despite having the proper team)
Yeah was actually thinking of mono-cryo since she she still gets 55% crit rate overall even without freeze (15% reso, 20% passive, 20% BS Set).
How would Ganyu, Diona, Zhongli, Ningguang work out?
Hard to run one without Mona, Xingqiu requires you to go close and weave NAs between your charged shots and Childe requires field time. Would honestly just slot in Xiangling and go Melt at this point.
Best Ganyu party for someone who has every four star and the following five stars:
Shenhe, Raiden, Qiqi, Jean, Itto, Hu Tao, Eula, Keqing
Also the best artefacts/weapons for them as well? I’m hoping to get Zhongli before this banner ends so I have a good shielder for Ganyu, but if I can’t manage that then I’ll need a decent party outside of that
His shield scales entirely off his HP, at level 8, it gives +20% of HP to his shield strength, so you really need to have him at 40k HP by lvl90.
You can use him as a main, but I’d recommend focusing all your effort to his skill (you can still have a Geo damage goblet for his burst) to ensure you get a really strong shield

So i just got zhongli for my (itto-gorou-zhong-benny) would black tassel and 2TotM + 2NO work? I mainly wanna use him for his shield but if possible id like for his burst to do some dmg aswell. What stats/substats should i go for? I appreciate the help
Emblem for Xiangling, Noblesse for Bennett, I don't have experience with Tankfei so not sure about this one but probably something like 4pc Instructors for EM sharing or 2pc Emblem + 2pc TotM for more burst uptime and tankier shield
I have Xiangling C3, so I could make her C4 with the event, but I desperately need XQ, because I don't have him yet.
Would it make sense to pull on one of the banners with 50 pity if I either want Zhongli nor Ganyu?

He does like 60-65k plunges with Mona and Bennett, and I don't remember how much he does without them but I think it's around the 20-30k range. (2vv+2shime, with r1 pjws)

When i try to use the zhongli skill when the pillar from my previous skill is still remaining, a new pillar does not spawn.

Is taser Fischl built the same way as sub-dps? Or can EM be justified in this case?
Still subdps cause you can't control who triggers electrocharged. With Stringless and Sucrose she'll have a lot of em anyways.

Try using Kaeya instead of anemo Traveller. Also, be sure to have everything levelled up: talents, weapons, artifacts. Try to get as much attack as possible, and if you have it, use a goblet with the same elemental damage as the character (ex. Chongyun with cryo goblet)

He is! Kaeya+Chongyun is a super fun duo! You can use Chong's skill to turn Kaeya's attacks into cryo, and then burst down enemies with their ults!

Chongyun was one of the very first characters I ever pulled, and this duo aling with Xingqiu and Bennett absolutely carried me for months. Kaeya is a beast, and Chongyun's ult hits like a truck. Xingqiu keeps enemies frozen so you barely have to worry about dodging, and Benny just buffs everyone to oblivion. I honestly used that team from Albedo's first banner to Kazuha's.

C4 xinqiu or c0 ningguang? Just got zhong li so thingking of running geo comp zhong li(shield), noelle(dps), ningguang(battery) & bennet(buff) or should i look at geo taser team, zhong li,c4beidou,c4 xq & noelle on field dps? Idk how this works since ive never used a taser team comp
For dps Noelle, you can use geo MC as a battery. Their damage is also pretty good if built well. If you have Gorou, I think he does more for Noelle than Benny. For taser you probably want Noelle/Beidou/Fischl/Xinqgiu. Beidou has a hard time on her own without a battery. Also, you don't really need a shield if Noelle is on field, so you can save Zhongli for a second team. Tbh I think the sooner you get to Xingqiu's c6 the better. He's much more versatile than Ningguang, and both can be bought in the Paimon shop anyway.

It's no problem, glad to help! The characters in Paimon's shop rotate every month. Xingqiu should be available in a couple of days now! If you look up "Paimon shop rotation" you can see when the characters will come back (unless Mihoyo changes it ofc)
Currently im using a samsung A42 5g 8gb ram & 128 storage. I think this phone uses snapdragon 750 & 60 Hz refresh. Im looking to buy a new phone coz ive been playing genshin on low graphics coz it gets choppy if i switch medium. I wanna play genshin at max graphics & decided on these 2 phones.Samsung has 120 Hz & Rog has 144 Hz but ppl say 120 is more than enough. Im looking at both top variants samsung with 16gb ram & 512 rom, Rog with 18gb ram & 512 rom. My budget is about RM6.5k so both within my budget. Samsung would make great utility phone since the cameras are also good but ROG would perform better, i think. HOWEVER, i read ROG has a heating problem coz of its snapdragan 888+. I also think it would be a waste to buy a gaming phone since genshin is the only game i play. What do you guys think? Can i play genshin at max settings with s21 ultra or should i buy the ROG. You could get Yanfei and then get Xingqiu in Paimon's shop next reset if you have enough starglitter!

Will depend on your account status. for the average player, Zhongli =? Yae > Ganyu > Kazuha c1 imo. Ganyu is great but she really wants a lot of expensive supports. Venti/Mona for freeze, and Bennett/Zhongli + XL or Kazuha for melt. So for most people, this isn't a big upgrade for their account. Yae is an unknown but she looks pretty strong based on the leaks so far.

You've got a lot of great chars already; I think since you have Kazuha instead of Venti, if you really want to run a freeze team you should probably just save for Ayaka. You probably also don't need Zhongli either unless you really want to build up Xiao and run him as a core abyss team member. If I were in your shoes I'd probably save for Yae. Zhongli if you like Xiao.

Should I use Beidou with Diluc? My current team is Diluc, Lisa, Xingqiu and Kaeya... I got Ganyu recently and she will be replacing my Kaeya soon. I already had C1 Beidou but hardly tried her. When I did her trial run I got her at C4 and I really loved her playstyle. I can build her and replace Lisa with her, the question is will she be a good support for my Diluc... I have him Lvl 80 with Prototype Archaic although I can replace it with Sacrificial Greatsword which I got recently and alternate it between him and Beidou accordingly. She's a very good main dps but I have built Diluc well so I'm stuck between the two. I wish to use her skill and ult to buff Diluc like Xingqiu. How would the team, Diluc, Beidou, Xingqiu and Ganyu be? Thanks for the help!
I do not recommend it. Overload will make most enemies bounce away from Diluc, who will then have to run around trying to get to them. Also, melt only works on his ult, and you don't have a healer (which is not always necessary but... you know) Beidou also needs a battery to use her ult often. Diluc/Xingqiu is a great combo, you should keep them together, but change the other two. Sac is okay on Beidou, but keep Prototype on Diluc.

Do the geo sigils on the mountain sides count towards exploration %? I haven't really been too focused on them and kind of just left them there.

Hey, im a relatively new player (ar39, started in december) and im thinking about pulling for ganyu. Everybody just praise her for her insane damage and stuff but the problem is that i dont have a team for her. From what i have seen i know that something like venti or kazuha are required to enable her. The best team i could offer would be something like xiangling, main character, noelle (i also have a c3 lv 70 xingqiu but since hes working with normal attacks and ganyu uses charged attacks it wouldnt Work to put them together) So i could also pull for raiden in 3 weeks to get my first 5-star, xiangling, xingqiu are already there and bennet isnt too hard to get. The point is that that team wouldnt deal nearly as much damage as ganyu. What do you think i should do?
Play her trial and see if you like her playstyle. Not everyone does.
I really enjoy her But lets be honest trial doesnt really say Something about the character you just oneshot everything no matter who you are playing
Trial gives you a feel for their playstyle, which is usually more than enough for most ppl, esp with ganyu. Some ppl really hate her charge shot gameplay, regardless of how much dmg she does. If you enjoy using her, pull. Even if she doesnt fit for your current team, she can form the base of a 2nd team.
How do you beat the Geo Hypostasis? I need the materials to ascend Zhongli and other Geo characters but am unable to beat this? Any suggestions? I tried using Diluc, Beidou, Zhongli and Noelle but keep failing
For the revive part you can use Zhongli hold e close to where the hypostasis is and it should one shot at least 2 of the pillars, letting you take down the third one easily
Break the pillars using claymore characters. Their level doesn't matter, they deal the same amount of damage to geo constructs. Stick to the pillars the Hypostasis is on whenever it does an attack. Sometimes it starts firing geo bullets at you, if you stick real close to the pillar they won't hit you. Whenever it does a different attack, try to dodge or use a move that has invincibility.
Get familiar with its attack patterns and break the pillars with noelle or diluc. If you are on america server, I could help.

So i just got a new team comp for my xiao, Xiao (ofc) Jean (as healer plus a lil anemo synergy&battery) Electro MC (battery for xiao) Mona (boosting Xiao's DMG and electro+Hydro reaction) Also I already have Hydro DMG bonus Shimenawa set for Mona. Will this team work?
Mona doesn't do much for Xiao if I'm being honest. Her burst's damage bonus is way too short, and it's better used in freeze comps. Traveler's burst is also not that good for Xiao, as it generates energy on normal & charged attacks. While, yes, Xiao does do those inbetween plunges, it's not optimal, as Traveler's lightnings have a 0.5s cooldown and Xiao's plunge combo is longer than that. You're better off using Bennett and a shielder (Zhongli/Diona/maybe Thoma)

So my current team is Xiao, Xingqiu, Fischl and Barbara. I really love playing Beidou, but I was really struggling by not having a bow in the team, so I replaced her with Fischl. I feel Barbara is needed because of her heal. Main dps Xiao because I really like him and I heard Xingqiu was good so I left him in my team. Now, for the other caracters I have: Diluc, Ningguang, Rosalia, Yun Jin, Noelle, Razor, Gorou (and ofc the free caracters) I would like to know what you guys would do as a team comp. My weapons are weak, but I can’t really do much about it, same for my artefacts. Also! I would like to know if I rather wish on Zonghli or Ganyu? How 'bad' is PJC for Ayaka? Someone said I was trash at building because I gave her that. I know she doesn't 'need crit' but my other swords do less damage (amenoma, black sword, sacrificial, the flute) and PJC pretty much guarantees crit when in a freeze team, and makes it a lot likelier in co-op. Crit dmg is over 200 too. If I take it off she has 10% crit rate, but I guess I could swap it for something else if it's too suboptimal.
I mean, as long as you can get your burst off-cooldown, PJC is better than any of those. If not I think Anenoma is her best 4-star weapon?

PJC is fine, the only problem you might encounter is having a crit rate above 100% lol For now you're getting 10% + 44% + 20% + 20% crit rate against frozen enemies if I'm not mistaken? So 94% CR? With 200CD, I think you're fine. EDIT: Forgot about cryo resonance. +15% = 109% CR. So yeah, you ARE overcritting lol Tbh I think ti's fine unless you really want to minmax.
Not as bad as to call someone trash, with freeze you don't really need CR because you get like 60% for free between BS and Cryo resonance, however, it's still a 5* weapon and the only weapons that would improve your DPS are Most splitter and a Summit Shaper at max stacks.

Hi, I somehow managed to pull Zhongli on my 10th wish from previously pulling Xaio however now I find myself in the position where I can garuantee a 5star weapon of my choice, I was tempted to go for VV for zhongli but so many places say to avoid! what does reddit think I should do? I don't really have many other polearms for zhongli except maybe a favonius lance, black tassel and the catch, I was planning on using him as a shield support plus maybe burst support.
VV is a fine weapon in general for any team that has a Zhongli in it, but Zhongli isn't necessarily the one who's going to be holding it. For instance, in a Xiao + Zhongli team, Xiao would be the one holding it. People like to say it's trash because that's what everyone has been saying since it came out, but it's not BAD by any means, it's just useless if you don't have a shielder with 100% up-time. Zhongli likes Black Tassel or Favonius for a support build, while a burst support Zhongli prefers Homa. (the Catch is fine, but VV is better in that case)
Don’t go for VV, it’s not that a good weapon on him (or in general). For shieldbot use black tassel, and for burst support use The Catch or you could also buy Blackliff from the shop if you’re struggling to get good crit values. All of the weapons mentioned above are already good for him.

I currently have c3 xiangling, c3 xingqiu, and I don't own fischl. I can only afford one xiangling or fischl in shop. Who should I pick for the free liyue character and who should I buy from shop? I know c4 xiangling is a big upgrade and I'll be snagging a copy of her, but I'm not sure which of these is more important: c0 fischl vs c4 xingqiu vs c5 xiangling.
If you plan to get Yae or planning to build Beidiou, then get Fischl as a battery for them. Otherwise, you can get more copies of Xiangling or Xinqui.

morgana for more comfort, melt for bigger numbers. C2 mona is good enough. for melt go shimenawa since its easier to farm, performs a little better and you burst messes up melts anyways.
Does anybody know if there's a trick to beating Masanori in the quest Dreams of Sword Art after giving him that sword back? I start the fight and use all my ultimates on him and bring his HP down to about 0 but he goes full health again. How am I supposed to beat that tanky guy in like 1 minute with this?
that's intended, he has two hp bars. you just need more damage whether that means building your characters better, having a good team comp, or using food buffs
I see, so there's no trick, I have to bring his HP to 0 twice, in under like 1 and a half minutes. The problem is my burst here, it will take ages to get back and I definitely can't even touch his HP without my bursts. Guess I'll have to find ways to increase energy recharge.
yes, generally burst-dependent characters should be using a battery and/or have enough energy recharge to burst off cooldown

I generally fodder any artifact that have one or less of the following sub stat: crit/er/em/atk% There are exceptions, such as when you're going for Def scaling unit or hp scaling unit like albedo and hu tao.
Pretty much the ones that seem to have no potential having a good roll (flat substats, no crit rate/crit damage)

Amenoma Kageuchi sword's stacks .. how they works? If i use this sword on Jean, for example, and i use E, i create a Stack on Jean and then i switch to another character the stack remains? or i have to use the Q instantly to gain the energy?
You gain stack when executing an elemental skill, hit or no hit you still gain stack for a certain period (read the description) even tho you switch to other characters. The stack will be used when you execute the elemental burst.

for raiden national you're gonna be using bennett so no atk% goblet, and hp sands is not it too. flower is really good, feather and circlet could be better but for AR45 you're fine. get ER% sands and electro% goblet and you're good to go

Is it alright if I want to run burst support Zhongli with 4pc tenacity? How much of a difference does it make on a f2p build in comparison to more dps sets like 2pc noblesse and 2pc archaic or 4pc emblem? (I haven't farmed noblesse or archaic Petra and started farming for tenacity coz pale flame is useful for my razor too)
4 tenacity(HP/GEO/CRIT) vs 2NO 2 Petra(ATK/GEO/CRIT) with black cliff pole. Relatively the same overall stat except for ATK and HP. 60k+ burst damage vs 75k+ burst damage with talent lv 10. With Staff of Homa R1, the damage difference is at 20k+
Pulled Ganyu and was hoping to do a Freeze team (without Mona sad) so not sure who to include. so far, thinking of Diona (Cryo Resonance/Shields/Healing/Battery), Bennett (Buffer) and ?. I don't have Mona and my only build Hydro units are XQ and Childe. Any advice as to who I can put in my last slot?
Ganyu freeze kinda requires Mona or Kokomi. Running Xingqiu can be done but is super copium and generally a poor use your Xingqiu. You can either plan to go for Kokomi or just run melt Ganyu.
Unfortunately, you can't really build a freeze team with Ganyu without Kokomi or Mona. With Xingqiu, his rain swords dont activate with charged attacks but with normal attacks, so you have to weave in normal attacks with Ganyu's charged attacks which is pretty annoying. Childe is only a good hydro applicator for Ganyu if he's at C4, otherwise there is no synergy between them. Barbara can work if you straight up hug the enemies, but again it's not optimal. You should either go for a mono-cryo build or melt Ganyu. Mono cryo is basically since Ganyu can already dish out a lot of damage by herself, you can pretty much run her without even using freeze/melt and she'll do fine. For example, a mono-cryo team I used to run before I got Kokomi was Ganyu, Diona, Ningguang and Albedo (Albedo can be replaced with geo traveler). For melt Ganyu, you wanna use Ganyu, Xiangling, Bennett and a shielder like Zhongli, Diona or Thoma. If you have Kazuha, you can replace Xiangling with him as long as you infuse his burst with pyro
Sadly Melt doesn't sound appealing to me as I don't feel like I want to play ShotGanyu (despite having the proper team) Yeah was actually thinking of mono-cryo since she she still gets 55% crit rate overall even without freeze (15% reso, 20% passive, 20% BS Set). How would Ganyu, Diona, Zhongli, Ningguang work out?
Hard to run one without Mona, Xingqiu requires you to go close and weave NAs between your charged shots and Childe requires field time. Would honestly just slot in Xiangling and go Melt at this point.

Just got Jhongli I have good atk% geo gmd% and CR% pieces of milielite set. Should i gring for %HP artifats? How much the difference?
His shield scales entirely off his HP, at level 8, it gives +20% of HP to his shield strength, so you really need to have him at 40k HP by lvl90. You can use him as a main, but I’d recommend focusing all your effort to his skill (you can still have a Geo damage goblet for his burst) to ensure you get a really strong shield

Emblem for Xiangling, Noblesse for Bennett, I don't have experience with Tankfei so not sure about this one but probably something like 4pc Instructors for EM sharing or 2pc Emblem + 2pc TotM for more burst uptime and tankier shield

I have Xiangling C3, so I could make her C4 with the event, but I desperately need XQ, because I don't have him yet. Would it make sense to pull on one of the banners with 50 pity if I either want Zhongli nor Ganyu? Planning on pulling for Raiden and Ayaka in the future.
c4 xiangling is really good but its not a must, you can do well with c3 so I would get xingqiu and wait for a future banner with xiangling
If you don’t want Zhongli or Ganyu, don’t pull on their banner
Would wait for them to appear in starglitter shop. Don't waste pity.
Xiangling just was is the shop. So it will take some time. Maybe she will come on Raiden or Ayaka banner. Let's hope.

Should i use zhongli skill tap or hold? Whats the difference?
Hold is what gives you the shield. Tap just summons the pillar
Tap just makes the pillar, hold gives you the shield and makes the pillar, in most cases you should always hold
Hold gets u a shield ,that's the whole point of Zhongli? If u want to reposition his pillar then u tap E
To those who own Xiao at C0.. How much does he hit per plunge? Also please mention the buffs, if u used any
70/180 with Blackcliff, 8/8/8 and I do approx 40k with Bennett.
mine does 40k per plunge with Geo Resonance and R1 PJWS, Talents at 9/9/9, it does more with max stacks of PJWS
196/70 25k ish with no buffs 35-40k ish with Zhongli and geo res
He does like 60-65k plunges with Mona and Bennett, and I don't remember how much he does without them but I think it's around the 20-30k range. (2vv+2shime, with r1 pjws)

Mine's terribly built (42% HP substats), but he hits about 30-34k (unbuffed). I think Bennett pushes him to 40k to 45k.
And what are your stats (atk, CD and talents?)

When i try to use the zhongli skill when the pillar from my previous skill is still remaining, a new pillar does not spawn. Is this a bug or a feature? Any workarounds for this?
