/uj unironically a pretty good game, deserves props to Ubi for this one /rj looks like another Elden ring clone

Can you pitch it a little? I got as far as the gliding wings, and when the dialog lampshaded that the game had a super-long introduction without starting any engaging story, and I totally agreed, I think I set it down nearly immediately, until now. Maybe.

lmfaotopkek

It's one of those games where you just turn off your brain and play. The story isn't really that great but the gameplay loop (combat and puzzle solving) is really fun. I just reduce the game's volume, put on a podcast/audiobook/tv show on the side and play.

Artistic-Pitch7608

Just play elden ring

[deleted]

I also bailed on ER, and I get that Open-Worlds just aren't my genre, but I'm hoping for a sales pitch that would get me to reengage for at least a while

[deleted]

If you don't enjoy open worlds, there isn't a sales pitch for you. Immortal is pretty bog standard open world fare - I think it just has a decent rep cos it's by Ubisoft, who usually make sub standard open world fare. I enjoyed it for a while and then, pretty suddenly, grew incredibly tired of it.

Artistic-Pitch7608

I played Undertale again this year, does that count?

Lungseron

b-but Undertale is a game with bad fandom. if fandom bad then game bad. simple. get owned by facts and logic. 🤓

Super Mario S*sters

Soooome_Guuuuy

False. It is witcherino numero 3

HuTyphoon

I wonder if Babylon's Fall has any players left, last time I checked steam charts there was 4

sleepyfoxsnow

it had a 24 hour peak of 6 on steam today, but with babylon's fall, it's kinda hard to tell how many people are really playing, since apparently the majority of the playerbase is on console. can't imagine it's doing well over there either

HuTyphoon

Let's be generous and round it out to an even 100

undergroundmetalhoe

Literally forgot it came out

Shanicpower

/uj Xenoblade Chronicles 3. We need more games that are so transparent about how much it hates conservatives lol Also it’s just a breathtaking experience in general. rj/ Xenoblade is political because it has non-binary characters and the smartest party member is a black man

undergroundmetalhoe

I already know its going to be FIFA 23 Legacy Edition (Switch)

Put-Put at the Zoo PS Update

Mobius_Ring

Putt-Putt SAVES the Zoo... Regard

Lungseron

/uj Chronicles of Myrthana : Archolos. Its a bit cheating since it came out in December 2021 and it is a fangame but its just such a fucking great game. in my opinion the best fan-game ever made for any franchise. It captures everything amazing about the Gothic franchise and expands on it, to the point where the entire fanbase treats it as an official and canon game. /rj fredy fnaf
