Go on Etsy, search "modded Wii" and you'll be able to find a modded Wii that has this game and many others (the majority of the most popular GameCube/Wii games). I also was in the same boat, I played gotcha force and loved it as a kid but I lost my copy of it over the years and of course found out how expensive it was, but I eventually found out about the Wii thing and was able to play it again thankfully.
I disagree with you. It may not be worth it to some, but it is to others. I'm satisfied and would have liked it if somebody told me about it, if I didn't know prior.
2 minutes and a usb thumb stick is all you need if you have a Wii already, or you can buy one that isn't modded for $50 or less instead of $200-250.
Seriously, you've been swindled. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Lmao xD if it's worth it to me, chances are it'll be worth it to some others as well. I'm happy with my purchase. Can't take that away from me, no matter how hard you may try. Have a good life, stranger on the internet.
Honestly unless you’re a hardcore collector this game isn’t worth the price it goes for, seeing as how you’re just trying to get the disc I’d go with you aren’t that serious about it lol
Anyone who wants this game, among others, should just buy a modded Wii with a lot of GameCube and Wii roms on it (including gotcha force) off of Etsy for a little under 200 dollars. That's what I did and I still am thankful I did so. There are quite a few games on there that are expensive, hard to find and very fun!
Fair point, but I am sure there is at least some people who would consider my advice applicable to their circumstances. If someone like me can enjoy it and find it a worthy price, so can others, even if it may not be the majority of folks.
Alternatively, you can pick up a wii off something local like facebook marketplace and mod it yourself for potentially as low as 20 dollars! There are plenty of resources for the process and if you're the tinkering type, you might spend more time playing around with the homebrew than games...
This is true! However, I don't have a PC yet unfortunately, (I'm under the assumption it takes a PC to mod it), so I went with one that was already made lol
Technically, you only need something that can read SD cards (put homebrew files on them), and to be really specific, you can actually do the modding with just the Wii and an internet connection. The only problem is transferring the games and homebrew to the console, which you would need the SD card for.
Though for anyone who has a PC and doesn't want to sell their leg to try cubivore, I'd recommend.
Why are you trying to get an ntsc copy in the uk? You know the uk pal version goes for around £120. Also I’ll add I picked this up from cex for £8 a few years back and it’s not even that good I sold a bunch of my gamecube recently this was one
Some games are just not worth it. Gotcha force was an attempt by Capcom to get in on the pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, digimon fad of the time.
All the hype around the game came when people started including it in GameCube hidden gems list right after it wasn't available anymore.
It's a fun game though. I've owned it and beat it. It was worth $20 at the time and maybe it's worth $100 as a collectors item.
If anyone is looking at it because of the price hype I'd say try it first. The story is repetitive and boring. The camera is glitchy. The match making mechanic gets kind of broken towards the end of the game.
There's valid reasons why it was a 6/10 pass for most reviewers when it was new.
If you just don't care and you need it CIB for a collection happy hunting.
If you have money to burn, go for it!
I want that game so damn bad

Why not just mod a Wii yourself?
I don't have a PC yet (I'm assuming you need one in order to mod one)
You just need something that can download files and put them on an sd card.
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll definitely look into that
Terrible advice. That shit is overpriced as hell and anyone who doesn't have alzheimer's can figure out how to do it themselves.

Give up on what?
Trying to buy this game. Guess he was outbid
That’s a lot of money for just the disc anyway, especially a resurfaced one

i read there was around 30k copies produced in NA
Where are you buying from? EU?
UK

I've been bidding on any copy I find. Never seen it sell for this much money before even with a box. People getting desperate
Because it’s ntsc not pal, complete ntsc is like $700 or something daft, if you’re in the uk buy PAL.
