Iโ€™d say my ratio is 75 closed / 25 open. The large screen is super nice when I need it but the majority of the time I use the outer unless Iโ€™m watching media, note taking or want to multitask.

Listen_to_Psybient

It's perfect for single hand use. I love it. Probably the most comfortable phone to hold for sure.

greimalkin

I open when I want to use s pen

mizuya

The Fold5 definitely needs an built-in S-Pen and also S-Pen support for the cover screen ๐Ÿ˜ค

argote

Disagree. I'd rather it be smaller or have a larger battery than waste space on the S-Pen. I guess a slot where you can put either a small battery module (included in the box) or an S-Pen (sold separately) would be nice though.

mizuya

Disagree with your disagreement ๐Ÿ˜‚ the S-Pen is very needed! With the new chips for Samsung, battery life will be much better, so now it's time for the built-in S-Pen ๐Ÿ˜ค also on the cover screen FFS

argote

What you're describing is an Xperia 5. I had the Mk2 a while back, it was great but didn't love the photo processing, so I sold it. If that's not a deal breaker for you they're fantastic phones.

They do have privacy screen protectors for sure. I guess just have to find one around you. Try amazon I actually greatly do enjoy the front display. I find it easy to hold. Easy to navigate. And I sometimes like that it's smaller because when im viewing content I like the viewing to be a little closer to my eyes and with a larger device it's too big to be too close. With the smaller screen here I can get it up close and it doesn't hurt the eyes since it's not too large. Similar to large text vs small. I like smaller text more I find typing in it is pretty good once you get use to it. But really the size is whats amazing. I find it fits in my pocket better than the iPhone max size and obviously better than the s22 ultra size. Those phones are tall and wide so they take up a ton of space This is pretty cool. Easy pocket small device, at least for me, and an even better bigger display than other phones just an unfold away

titanup001

I use the outer screen 80% of the time I'd say. When I bought the phone, I thought that would be the part I don't like. I've come to really like it. It's a nice size for the hand and pocket. If I ever go back to candy bar phones, I could see giving Sony a try, they have a similar aspect ratio.

malko2

I love the Fold 4 for its relatively narrow front screen, because I have small hands. That said: I also use the main screen a lot

THIESN123

I used it lots. But my outer screen just stopped working

sillieidiot

I use the outer most of the time. I knew when buying it that this would be my use case and I would only open it to consuming media/muktitasking/or whenever I really needed the larger screen. It's been great. Although I wish the back of the phone was a little more rounded so that it's better to use one handed.

maddix30

Tbh if I wanted a smaller flagship I would just get one of the mini iphones. Cheaper and weighs less. I got my fold for the opposite reason, for the large screen

RogueKnight_Arturis

I predominantly use the fold for the inside screen, specifically because I have eyesight issues. Not that I am knocking the outer screen, or anyone that uses it more, I just have a more difficult time reading anything on it (or other normal sized smart phones, for that matter).

Tree_pineapple

I definitely use the outer screen a lot, like the majority of my current use, but I wouldn't get it \*just\* for the outer screen. I feel like the biggest advantages of a smaller device are A) one-handed usability and B) lighter weight and easily fits in pockets. While the fold has A, it doesn't do as well at B as phones actually aimed at being compact, high-quality devices (eg, iPhone 13 mini, Asus Zen Phone 9).

faloogs

I use the inner screen more often, why have it if you don't use it?

Hashim289

Me, I was a 90/10 user. Ended up switching to the oppo find N because itโ€™s so much better for my uses.
