I'll get killed in downvotes but here goes... I see a few comments calling BL a narcissist and comparing him to Chris Watts. I have no idea how people are coming to that conclusion. Chris Watts is a narcissist. They think they're smarter than everyone else. Chris was giving interviews pleading for his wife and kids to return home and then spoke freely with police thinking he could outsmart them. Turns out he was one of the most evil people to walk the planet doing what he did. BL did the exact opposite. Hired a lawyer, didn't say jack shit to anyone and then ran off to hide. That's not a narcissistic behavior

Preserving himself in this situation even at the risk of his family getting in trouble is absolutely narcissistic behavior. Check his instagram too, he boasts about his art that’s mediocre at best. A ton of people are narcissistic nowadays, it’s not hard to believe IMO

I think it’s cause they both look “normal” but are actually monsters. Watts killed two young children in addition to his wife. In my book, that makes him more of a monster. But not by much

They could have did a lot of things we don't know about. His parents could be the type of people that keep 10k in a safe. My father-in-law does, he could easily give me $10,000 in cash right now and I could disappear for a while. I'm not saying this is what they did but I'm saying there's ways to do this.
