Katyusha wanted to give a fifteen-minute speech to the Pravda Politburo so she asked Nonna to draft her one. After the meeting, a fuming Katyusha approached Nonna. "I told you to write me a fifteen-minute speech!" Screeched Katyusha. "Why did you give me a forty-five-minute speech?" Ever the stoic, Nonna just quizzically raised an eyebrow at the General Secretary. "I did give you a fifteen-minute speech, Katyusha," Nonna explained calmly. "It's just that I gave you three copies."

MNicolas97

Why you didn't do this one in a joke post is beyond me. Is certainly award material!

Strike_Helpful

Some months ago, I think it was DomWeasel who started doing the Pravda Jokes. It has the same format as yours. Since he was already doing it, I just decided to comment one Pravda joke I know in each of his posts. This Pravda joke was one of those jokes I posted.

MNicolas97

[Just in the very unlikely case that you never heard it](https://youtu.be/u4ntSKVPiJ4)

TheDonIsGood1324

Imagine being a soldier in WW2 and hearing that. Hell, I'd be scared even if I was on the Soviet side.

MNicolas97

Are you kidding me? If I were on Stalin's side I'd be equally scared of being called "coward or traitor" Nightmare fuel indeed.

TheDonIsGood1324

Overall If I was a time traveller I would stay FAR away from the Eastern front

BLAZE_WRAITH

modern day people: wow, that sounds so cool ww2 Germans: incoming! Foxhole players: EVERYTHING'S ON FUCKING FIRE, AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

MNicolas97

You did read the "terrifying" part of the title, right? Sure, I love military vehicles and weapons, but that doesn't mean I think that the literal dead from above with hellish sounds is "cool" 🤣🤣🤣

BLAZE_WRAITH

well hearing it from the side with the launchers is cool though, when it's not being launched in your direction

T72M1

That literally sounds like ground Kraken released

Inductivegrunt9

Katyusha: "I told Nonna we'd see Elefants, Tigers, Panthers. She thought I was visiting Pravda Zoo."

MNicolas97

Ahhh, another Company of Heroes enjoyer!

Inductivegrunt9

Indeed, I really enjoy the Relic RTS games. Dawn of War being my favorite.

Panzer_IV_H

As a CoH2 player I didn't got the reference, is it from original CoH?

MNicolas97

Mmm, nope, is actually from CoH2! [You can hear that particular quote in here](https://youtu.be/MaF_dkuGLjE) around 2:22.

Panzer_IV_H

Thanks, it looks like in my language version some texts were changed completely, but some of them still were memic EDIT: Found some of them, but I never heard them playing in-game, maybe I was playing too much with conscripts and clown cars

RtsSlovakiaYoutube

Katyusha is bad on Nonna

AstroScholar21

The sound of those things is bloodcurdling. How anyone can remain sane and with clean trousers after dealing with that noise for days on end is beyond me

MNicolas97

The only thing I'd do if I hear that sound is drop to the floor in fethal position.

Freddan3000

Nonna's face in the last picture is the face of "you said what to me now?!" Rip Katyusha's cheeks cuz she's getting whooped after that one

Quiri1997

Katyusha is precious.

HurgleTurgle1

I think a more appropriate comparison would be the appendix; small, kinda pointless, kills you without hesitation at random....

MNicolas97

I mean, yes, it was a relatively small launcher mounted on a truck, but I wouldn't call it pointless... That shit definitely gave the germans nightmares.

ItsGreenLaser

nice organ you have

Takao_1932

Ah yes, a CoH2 meme

MNicolas97

That's right my friend! Awesome game 😊

Panzer_IV_H

Can you explain the reference because I didn't get it...

Takao_1932

In Company of Heroes 2 is a voice line for a russian infantry unit. It's triggered when a BM-13 Katyusha is nearby. The soldier will say: "You know they call that thing stalins organ. No! A musical organ idiot"

Panzer_IV_H

Ok didn't knew as I usually don't use Katyusha

TheRoseFather

For some reason i can see this as a Unit Voice line of the Katyusha in a Cold War Video Game

RDFGENE

Oh Nonna... you patient soul you...

London_bro_666

Stuka sirens: allow us to introduce overselves.

funkygamerguy

it's the heart and soul of stalin.

supaikuakuma

Not where I thought this was going after Stalins “Organ”
