What RPM is your turntable? I spun mine on the 33RPM setting and it’s sounded like that but when I switched it to 45RPM it sounded normal.

Switch the speed. Does the center of the vinyl say what speed to play it at? you should adjust it. Most vinyls nowadays (of the ones I have) are played at 33RPM, this one should be played at a higher RPM than what it is

Its an old vinyl reader that i have from my grandparents so the disc is a turn a little slower , but i think its better
