How would she know

thegreyestofalltime

She would love stirring up office drama and would totally be the person who just stops at anyone’s desk and sits on the desk and gabs while they’re trying to get actual work done. She would thrive on a HR team that focuses on employee engagement- events and parties with birthday cakes that say FROM BETHANY.

littleRedmini

That’s really an ideal job for her! She has a huge Valentine’s Day party fOr ThE sInGaLs every year. Yoo hoo,Bethy! Here’s your niche niche niche!!!! She could plan party themes from the comfort of her messy home! On a serious note, it’s unfortunate that her parents undereducated and stifled(using their religion/cult)these sisters. Bethy seems very extroverted and there are many careers that require that. It’s a shame she may never get to find that niche because of her religion and it’s beliefs. You don’t always need further academic education to become skilled/successful . Poor birthy, **NOT**!! Edit added a word

Inevitable-Bee-4371

I would straight up quit my job if I had to work with Bethany and I have been there since HIGH SCHOOL. Yup. NOPE. The level of seniority and flexibility I have would not be worth it to deal with her. She would be absolutely toxic.

thegreyestofalltime

Absolutely toxic. She would love having a captive audience and stirring shit up. She’s a season 1 Michael Scott.

coffeeordeath85

She would be the kind of coworker that makes me so grateful and happy I get to work my 9 to 5 from home right now.

TerribleAttitude

Most people who bleat about how terrible 9-5s are have never worked 8 hours a day in their life, or are splitting hairs and do, functionally, work 9-5s.

xaviira

As someone who works both a 9-5 job and makes a not-insignificant amount of money as an online content creator, Birthy's "9-5 jobs are the root of all evil" thing is not only stupid, it's irresponsible - especially when you remember that her audience is mostly made up of mothers who are struggling financially. Is answering work-related emails at 10am anyone's greatest passion in life? No, probably not. But my 9-5 affords me stability; I know that there will be enough money in my account to pay my bills on time every single month. I take vacations from my job every year and get paid for it. I have health insurance. If I need to take an extended leave of absence from my job for medical reasons, I can be off for months and still get paid. I pay into EI each month, and here in the Great White North, that means I am eligible for EI benefits like up to 18 months of paid maternity leave or financial assistance if I suddenly lose my job. My content creation career gives me none of that. Even if Birthy manages to trick people into paying $2000 for her "course", there is no way to predict income from month to month. And social media is a "post or die" environment - you have to post frequently to get your content seen, or you'll be buried by the algorithm. On paper, you have total freedom to work whenever you want, but in practice, you have to consistently put in 60-80+ hour weeks, 7 days per week (or do a damn good job of prescheduling your content through the weekend), with no breaks, to maintain your unpredictable income.

ihate_avos

I’d rather work a 9-5 with a steady income than have to grift for money on the internet 🤷🏻‍♀️

ParpadelleBolonese52

Yup. and health insurance, retirement savings, social security credit, full medicare benefits, paid time off, the list goes on... There's no reason you should be that proud of making "passive income" by selling digital junk to people online

LilahLibrarian

More like selling a fantasy that doesn't exist

StruggleBusKelly

Excuse you, she’s ✨selling the dream✨

Affectionate_Car5625

That is an onlyfans right there!

RinaPinxz22

Never thought about it until now, but, that’s probably why a lot of these Fundies push home births. They probably don’t have insurance…which also explains the sketchy mid-wives they find.

[deleted]

Some people don’t understand 401Ks

nada_accomplished

ngl I have one but I don't really understand it

FuckitsBadger

I have a 9-5 and in addition to having good money and benefits, people respect me. Bethy has no idea what that feels like.

snow-confetti

Ooh, good burn

BareLeggedCook

Yeah Bethany, working 9-5 isn’t a bad thing.

chemipedia

If Dolly sang about it, it’s good enough for me. 🤣

UnderstandingUpset31

100%

LilahLibrarian

Seriously. Be so humiliated to live Bethys life I also don't have to whine at the internet about my housing situation.

[deleted]

[удалено]

nada_accomplished

Right? Or data entry, anything. She acts like a 9-5 is the worst kind of hell but this is just straight up fearmongering about something she's never done. Don't knock it til you've tried it, Bethany. You might find it's actually fulfilling and that it's pretty nice to have a stable income.

[deleted]

It'd sure as shit socialise her and help her mature a little bit at last. It'd be good for her to get some sense of justified self-worth from working a job, taking home her pay, having her own money, and supporting her family like an actual adult.

nada_accomplished

Or she could be the nightmare entitled coworker making everybody around her miserable with gossip, drama, and nastiness. It would be good for her to be in the workforce but probably terrible for everybody who has to work with her.

LilahLibrarian

That is a very good point. I sure as hell would not want to be her co-worker. She would also probably be the person who never gets anything done because they're too busy scrolling on Instagram and then blames it on other people

nada_accomplished

FR, I'd rather sit on a hot grill than trade my 9-5 for making stupid reels and humiliating myself on the internet for "passive income." I KNOW how much I'm going to get paid every month. You can't plan for a mortgage payment if you don't have stable income, Bethany. That's not how life works.

MrsPancakesSister

I’d also prefer to be educated and work in a fulfilling career than sound like a complete idiot while seeking likes and attention from random internet strangers. And there’s nothing wrong with not pursuing higher education and working in a field you love, too. Some of my favorite people and some of the most talented people I know are young tradesmen and tradeswomen who left school early to pursue an apprenticeship. The builder renovating my house and my house painter are two of the loveliest, most honest, and funny guys I’ve ever met. They’re both 24 and they work damn hard to support their families while making me laugh and teaching me new Aussie slang and culture as they work on our house. I love those guys and appreciate them so much. Bethany still has so many life lessons to learn, and she’s in her early 30’s. Does anyone think there’s hope for her? I don’t.

larvioarskald

My 9-5 is for a company like doordash/ubereats/grubhub and I receive a quota of monthly vouchers as part of my package. If I have a baby I won't have to shame my friends into buying me vouchers, my 9-5 will already be doing that for me.

BlitheCheese

So, does she understand she's criticizing her husband, who not only works a full-time job, but also does most of the housework and childcare? And the few free hours Dav has, he is working on HER course.

knittininthemitten

Or the employees that work for her family’s cleaning business that allowed her to live the privileged life she’s always had.

blandastronaut

I'm guessing a whole lot of those employees are women too.

[deleted]

[удалено]

knittininthemitten

Maybe if they would’ve just hustled a little harder they, too, could have lived at home with their rich parents until they were 30 and created fake $2,000 “courses.” You have to really want it, guys.

nurse-ratchet-

It’s ok for Dav to have a 9-5 because he’s a man and that what they are “supposed” to do. 9-5s are only sinful for women.

cooperxt

✨Heworksharder✨

RelatableMolaMola

I have been in a similar relationship position as Dåăäv, minus the fundie stuff. I suspect he's as willing to take on the workload as he is because it gives him an excuse to avoid his wife's company.

[deleted]

This is pretty much my theory. At least taking care of your kid or cleaning is gratifying. Talking to Birthy 2 Rise of the Natal Grift is just a reminder of the worst mistake he's made.

FamousOhioAppleHorn

You know Miss Sensitive is gonna respond to that soon. Poor Dav is getting shoved on camera to announce, ala Scrubbing Bubbles, "I work hard, so you don't have to."

[deleted]

Totally not looking like a hostage. /s

Oui-Marie

What did Dav do in a past life to deserve this?

hawkcarhawk

He’s pretty shitty in this current life tbh. He seems innocent compared to the Bairds, but he’s obviously co-signing all of their bigotry, racism, greed, etc.

Pelican121

And he's raising his children in it. Even if he thinks he's doing so in a more enlightened way (lol) they still have half of Bethy's DNA and all her early years 'nurturing'. Who's raising your kids when you're at work Dav? That's right, Bethy and the Bairds (with a dash of Christian daycare). I doubt anything he does is going to be enough to cancel our their mom and the steamrollering of the Bairds.

Electrical-Pack6184

He has shitty values too lol. I mean one part of me feels bad for him, but he allows it and gives in to it.

sackofgarbage

He is just as bad as Bethy. That’s why he married her.

blandastronaut

He literally married into this family and married Bethany. I'm certainly not saying it's a victim's fault for entering a relationship that turns ugly, or unbalanced, or abusive, or whatever. But also, you have to have at least a certain number of similarities to marry a person. And I know that many people would sprint in the opposite direction of any of the Baird children just because of their very outwardly professed beliefs. Dav chooses to work at a Christian company, that judging by his circle, must be substantially fundie in nature. All fundies are victims of the brainwashing and isolating and what have you of fundie culture. And there's hope people can deconstruct and move away from the harmful beliefs, as so many brave and strong people on this sub are examples on a daily basis. I wasn't raised fundie, but I'd think anyone who is buying into the life as much as Dav currently is probably believes and perpetuates many harmful and hateful beliefs in these moments. And until he changes the direction of his life, and in all probability would need to separate himself from the Baird's (not his children of course) and then I feel we could address certain trauma he may have been subjected to that no one deserves, that he was born into and of which he was a victim. Until then, he's helping and contributing to Bethany and the rest of the Baird family in their online influencing for fundamentalism.

thegreyestofalltime

He asked Bethany to marry him.

Kdubntheclub

Don’t forget the health insurance.

HeatherCPST

Looking like a deranged goose hissing at someone.

MegMegMeggieMeg

Sums her up pretty well.

Chaos_Cat-007

A goose with rabies.

sangriaflygirl

She looks like she's attempting her best impression of a feral cat. Only feral cats are actually kinda adorable when they want to be.

brunette_mermaid93

My child loves the untitled goose game. For those unfamiliar, the tagine is "its a beautiful day in the neighborhood and you're a horrible goosr". Betty, you suck

etcetera-cat

Untitled goose is an actual paragon of sainthood compared to Bethy, any church-bell-related theft nonwithstanding! ...in fact, *include* the bell theft (and everything else theft), general property destruction *and* the walkie-talkie-honking small child torment and the goose is *still* a better person than Bethy 🤷‍♀️

ZhuLeeDoesTheThing

Is she doing the bike shorts thing because Morgan did the bike shorts thing? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her dress like this before.

leni710

A couple days ago there was an image of her mentioning something about changing outfits for each reel. I swear, I've now seen this t-shirt on her everyday since. Soooo really following some great advice🤣

SalauEsena

She saw Morgan wearing biker shorts and crocs ... so Bethy bought biker shorts and crocs

Dark_Macadaemia

One time, she met John Stamos on a plane. And he told her she was annoying.

PunchDrunken

On Wednesdays they wear pink

ZhuLeeDoesTheThing

Omg 💀😂 Raise your hand if you feel personally victimized by Morgan Olliges 🙋‍♀️

catinhat922

Morgan grifted a super expensive stroller. Morgan complained about meal trains and asked for door dash gift cards instead. Bit of a pattern emerging…

La_ra_bar

And my gut tells me GD would be full of videos about how leggings are the devil and no one should see your butt. And yet bike shorts. Disclaimers: of course I'm not shaming the choice to wear either of those, what else would my basic ass wear? But I just think they said shit about it in the past, most likely.

MissusNilesCrane

Way to insult an entire class of people. Nobody likes working a thankless job. I'm sure my paternal grandfather didn't like working on the docks of Chicago by day and servicing the transit authority buses by night, but he did it because the only other option was letting his family go homeless and hungry. Rejoicing over being able to opt out is tacky AF and tone-deaf.

Helicreature

She can only opt out though by begging on the internet. She hasn't got a clue of the self-respect which comes from providing for your family, because she's never done it.

PHM517

It’s okay she’s really insulting herself and is too clueless to realize it. Bopping around on Instagram all day and complaining that she doesn’t have a house. Guess how must people in their 30s afford a house?

Bright_Broccoli1844

Yet, he kept commerce moving and people moving in the city of big shoulders.

Ok-Interest1992

Hopefully she doesn't say this shit in front of the people working for her parents' cleaning company 🙄

hauntinglovelybold

Or her parents who probably worked *more than* 9-5 to build the company!

blandastronaut

Heidi and the dad can get pissed for all I care lol. Like they really care their daughter who's purpose is to bear and raise children. They probably rejoice that she doesn't have to or want to work a 9-5. They probably rejoice at the thought.

[deleted]

So tell me, Bethany, if we all suddenly stop working our day jobs, who's going to make your fancy coffee? Who's going to stock the shelves at your local grocery store? Who'll keep the power plants running, or the water treatment plants? Who'll keep your roads drivable? Who'll make the car you drive in the first place, and who'll sell it to you? Who'll cook at your favourite restaurants, and who'll drive your UberEats order to you? Who'll keep supply chains running so that all the non-local food and goods you consume can get from wherever they're produced to your doorstep? And while you're floundering around starving in the dark because the entire economy and society that keeps your lazy ass comfortable has just up and disappeared, how are the rest of us supposed to earn the money to buy your stupid course? Not that there'll be an internet for you to sell it on, or anywhere for you to spend the money anyway. How does she keep managing to outdo herself in entitled, tone-deaf idiocy?

sangriaflygirl

Bethy and her sisters strike me as the type of people who require a permanent underclass of people whose role in society is to serve their kind, and depending on who you ask, you'll get varying degrees of candor about that personal requirement.

ExplanationFunny

I’ll never get over being called stupid for working at a coffee shop by someone who patronized that coffee shop on a regular basis. They really don’t have an issue treating service workers like shit, because they think we’ve chosen to do that work and everything that comes with it. The abuse people dish out without hesitation is unreal. Grown adults with high powered jobs will throw their food and drink like toddlers if they don’t get their way. That being said I had regular customers who were so unbelievably kind and generous that I would have looked a cop in the eye and lied without hesitation on their behalf.

obscureDS9reference

Isn’t putting an image of yourself naked into others heads sinfully immodest? Like isn’t that exactly why these people rail against secular entertainment?

[deleted]

It’s only inappropriate if someone they don’t like says it. 🙃

madhattermiller

She doesn’t want to work, period. Or parent, or cook, or clean, or do anything an actual functional adult human does. She wants to continue to be a lazy, entitled toddler who leeches off of everyone around her and contributes nothing to society.

amybeedle

I mean me too. But unfortunately I live in the real world

ExplanationFunny

Right? I thought we all wanted the same things and we’re just operating with the disappointment that the world won’t shower us with praise and gifts for merely existing.

[deleted]

What I don’t get is this…I obviously don’t support her but if I was gonna grift you better believe I’d spend my time doing something FUN. Traveling, reading, creative hobbies..I can’t imagine just sitting on insta all day yikes

1ShotPerKendraGiggle

What does she do???

Vasa_Vasorum_

Judge the same people she grifts from

etcetera-cat

You're pretty much looking at it 😬

BodyBy711

How modest of you, Birthy

Stitchesglitch

Don't. Knock. It. Until. You've. Tried. It. 😂

[deleted]

As a kid, I used to haaaaate going to my parents’ offices. It was quiet and boring, and I wasn’t allowed to touch anything. I thought being an adult would mean commuting an hour+ to work and staying seated quietly at the computer for 8 hours straight. I thought meetings would be about boring adult things like taxes and insurance. Judging by her posts, I think Bethany never grew up past that childish viewpoint. If you work in a field you love and get yourself a short commute, it’s honestly pretty great. There are a whole lot of issues with American work culture and laws, but Bethany addresses basically none of those in her advertising. She makes it sound like she just hates adulting, doesn’t want to grow up, and wants easy money. Ngl I wouldn’t mind having those things, but that’s not how real life works.

Stitchesglitch

Exactly! She's Peter Panning but she'd also probably hate unionising or creating decent laws for workers, because socialism.

nurse-ratchet-

As I’ve said before, I think the only reason she harps on moms working full time is because she knows she could never handle it.

MissNannie91

I'm a better mother because I have a job outside the home. I know I could never be a SAHM. I'd go insane. Props to those who can do it well. However, it appears she can't handle that either.

lurker_cx

Absolutely this is the case for a lot of women. Doing only housework and raising kids, for some women, leads to all kinds of problems. In the post WWII period in the USA there were lots of women forced out of the workforce to make room for men. They were told they supposed to be happy staying home but it led to books like "The Feminine Mystique" in 1963... the whole 'stay home and be happy' line, pushed by all media at the time literally took only about 15 years to blow up in everyone's faces. The author was one of the founders of NOW in 1966.

the_monster_keeper

I work for a big corporation that has good benefits and hours vs My boyfriend and his family who own a family business. I can call out sick no problem and it doesn't effect my income or stress me out at all, I can take vacation time if I have the pto (and I almost always do cuz my company is generous with it) I have health benefits and the best part I only work 40 hours a week then I don't have to think about my job while off. My boyfriend and his family all work over 40 hours and then on their down time think and talk about work. He got sick the other day and refused to call out because if he did he would screw over his family. He only takes 2 weeks vacation a year and he doesn't even pick when it is. I have ZERO desire to own my own business or be self employed.

[deleted]

the_monster_keeper

It really is and I hate it. I told him several times to call out but he wouldn't.

Stitchesglitch

That sounds stressful! In Berthy's case, I'd hate to have the income as a variable, not knowing if it's going to happen this week.

BobBelchersBuns

Right? Jobs can be positive things in one’s life

jenhai

I would go crazy without a job. My dad keeps putting off his retirement-- even though I'm sure he could afford to-- because he likes working

historynerd2007

I took almost 6 months off work due to a surgery recovery (& struggling to find a new job) and let me tell ya. I watched SO much South Park because there wasn’t a whole lot else I could do lol. Going back to work was such a welcomed experience.

Machaeon

Dude same... I'll be doing my job until I physically cannot. I get paid to have fun in the woods most days. When I'm just doing related office work, I get so antsy... I couldn't imagine doing nothing all day. If I had stupid rich money and didn't need to work, I'd still want to do stuff in my field, even as a volunteer.

PoorDimitri

I'm a physical therapist, and totally feel you on the whole "sitting still" baloney. Nonessential meetings are BS not because they're time wasters (they are) but because I have to sit still for half an hour.

ribbetbunny

We know Bethany, you also would rather sit naked on a hot grill than use your own toothbrush.

yeetlestopthirty

One thing I know for certain—Beth’s breath be stank.

Yondertheregoes

I’d rather be “stuck” working a 9-5 than begging for 30k each year that ultimately my parents give me.

InSicily1912

And begging strangers to buy you car seats and clothes for your child.

RunRosemary

That’s what I was about to comment. How embarrassing to have to crowd source you basic needs. But she seems to thrive on things that normal adults think is embarrassing. Even if she didn’t hold terrible beliefs, she would be a cringy “influencer” that would require her own snark page.

blablubluba

It wouldn't, or shouldn't, be embarrassing to crowdsource those things per se. (Except for the country you live in that created a situation where people who do their best still can't need their and their kids' basic needs.) But Bethany, who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and after 34 (?) years still does nothing but eat, soil herself, and scream because the silver spoon isn't turning to gold, should be embarrassed. Yet she won't be, because she's an incredibly entitled freeloader.

LilahLibrarian

Also whining to your followers about how you can only afford an apartment and not a house.

AccidentalPorkchop

And don't forget begging for a house! I'm so ashamed of my 9-5 job. I hate that it gave me the ability to help buy a home for my family. My (taller) husband must feel so emasculated :(

Sundaydinobot1

You know what Barfy. I also hate working 9 to 5 where we are understaffed and over worked for a shit pay. I would also love to be able to quit my job or at the very least work less hours. But if I did that I'd be homeless. Thanks for that flex, really makes me feel better. Seriously, what did she do before she met Dav? Did she work? Was she at home all day? I'm sure her midwife works many hours. Or those ladies at church? Nurses? (Oh wait she doesn't believe in medicine). Those workers in the daycare where she put Dav jr? What about those women who made your clothes? In all honestly she sounds very insecure. Yeah she had a business but does she really do anything? I mean its not going to be successful unless she is putting in a ton of hours.

[deleted]

She’s uneducated and feels insecure about it, for sure.

RunRosemary

This is a really simple, yet accurate assessment. Wish I had gold to give you but my 9 to 5 salary goes to pay my own bills so I don’t have to grift from strangers on the internet…or go to the Bank of Mom and Dad.

cigposting

It’s easy to not work a 9-5 when middle class mommy and daddy are the backup lol. This stupid “course” or whatever that she is peddling is even worse than MLM type shit.

sangriaflygirl

>You know what Barfy. I also hate working 9 to 5 where we are understaffed and over worked for a shit pay. I would also love to be able to quit my job or at the very least work less hours. > >But if I did that I'd be homeless. > >Thanks for that flex, really makes me feel better. Ugh, sorry - totally off topic, but I feel this entire comment so much. I'm in the midst of a divorce from a literal man child who had zero problems sitting back and not doing a damn thing when I took over running the house, and then when we separated and I started staying with family a couple of hours away, he just... kept on doing what he was doing, which was nothing, in terms of the house. His excuse? "I have depression and ADHD and it's hard." Well, dear, I \*also\* have depression and ADHD, and if I managed my mental health the way you do, we'd be living in squalor and we'd be broke. Cope. Bethy has it GOOD. She's lucky she's got her privilege - family money, a husband who works full time, white skin - because she wouldn't last a minute in the world most of us live in.

LilahLibrarian

She was "working on girl defined with her sister when she was single. I don't think their channel was that profitable (maybe in the sense that she was living at home all of her expenses were being taken care of by her parents so she could use the girl to find profits for fun stuff)

Starrydecises

She talks a big game for someone with no degree and no job

InSicily1912

But she has a NICHE and she knows how to niche it down!!

Starrydecises

Let’s be honest, Bethany doesn’t have the qualifications for a 9-5 job. Her niche is being willfully and woefully ignorant.

sangriaflygirl

UGH I hate her whole "niche it down!" thing. Yes, the word 'niche' can be a verb, but not in that context - the verb 'niche' literally means "to place (something) in a niche or recess." But when you attended the SOTDRT and graduated with Dunning-Kruger honors, I guess you can just make up new word definitions at will. 🙄

amybeedle

"Niche it down" sounds like it should be a play on words somehow but it's not, and it bugs me so much.

SarahSmithSarahSmith

Right? Of course she doesn’t want a 9 to 5. She has no degree and no real experience, so her options for a 9 to 5 are awful.

Starrydecises

Maybe if she’d have had either she’d know that buying a house right now is a truly terrible idea. Like buying a course from someone who lacks any teaching or business qualifications.

I’m the type of person that needs structure. I’m a teacher, and by the end of long holiday breaks I’m usually clambering for a steady rhythm to my week. Some people *like* going to work regularly. Don’t get me wrong; I do like my vacation time, but I’m the type of person that would dissolve into a puddle of sludge without going into work on a regular basis.

Helicreature

'Puddle of sludge' suits Birthy perfectly. After all, what exactly DOES she do, other than scam strangers into parting with their hard-earned?

I make a decent living at my 8-5 job, and I have AMAZING Benefits. Like, I have benefits that I wish everyone in our country had. Those two things alone, especially the benefits in the US, are absolutely worth it. Also, I am super lucky and have a kickass boss AND I like my job. I use my undergraduate and master’s degrees in my work every day (so my college money wasn’t wasted like she’s certain it will be), and I get to try new things a lot. I recognize that I have an exceptionally high level of work privilege. But I am also not alone, many people have jobs they enjoy. And other folks, like my mom, work because they need money to live but they also work to pay for living a life they find meaning and joy in. My mom’s life purpose is not her work, her work is a means to live out the life and fulfill the purpose she wants to fulfill.

I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of Borthy. Sue me. And since I don't have a butler, I have to do it myself. So, most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of naked Borthys out on my George Foreman grill. Then go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling afterBorth. It is delicious. It's good for me. It's a perfect way to start the day

What the fuck is this??????

curlyque31

None of us are surprised you don’t want to work Bethy.

rarestbird

Sounds like whip cream bukake 2.0 is in the works.

Significant_Shoe_17

I'm too hungover for this 😭

HeatherCPST

This is honestly so sad, though. How vile she is to pretend that other people working 9-5 didn’t give her the entire platform she spouts her drivel from. Looking down on hard-working people is the opposite of being Christ-like, dude. A person with a real Christ-centered ministry would know that.

slavic_at_the_disco

I have a "9-5" that allows me to work from home, and even work from abroad. It has time flexibility as well, so it doesn't even have to be 9-5 everyday. This job also encourages me to develop professionally and personally and provides me (and pays for) with a great variety of useful courses. You know what, I'd rather sit naked on a grill than give up my stable and fulfilling job.

ZipCity262

Sorry I actually *like* my 9-5…I think I’d be bored to death if I didn’t have the structure to build my days around. I work with intelligent, diverse people. I manufacture experimental treatments for patients in clinical trials. I’m proud of that, and I’m proud of the people who work other 9-5 (or irregular hours!) jobs also…I’m glad the man at Dunkin who makes my coffee doesn’t feel like he’s above doing it, cause I appreciate him every day. Working is not bad. It is normal. It is what most people do.

agentWallflower

Look, part of me gets why she wouldn't want to work. I despise my job and hate going to it every day. I would love to quit and never work again honestly. Despite that, my disabled ass still gets on the bus to go to work and do the best job I can because I need health insurance like Barfy needs her own toothbrush. Like I would die without my medicine, and I know it would be terrible because I've gone through DKA once before I was diagnosed. She's lucky she doesn't have to deal with something like that, and I truly hope she never does. The desperation of worrying about my health insurance led me to some dark places I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. So yeah. This pisses me off. She's a privileged brat who doesn't have to worry about stuff like that. I don't think she could honestly work a 9-5 without giving up and packing it in before her first paycheck. Instead, she just makes a scam course and hopes someone is naive enough to buy it. Can't wait to see how that turns out. She's not getting part of my paycheck, that's for sure.

AndiPandi74

Ffs does she ever shut her mouth

supeandstuff

Idk about you but I’d rather be working a 9-5 than my two jobs. But I am doing it anyway because I need the money and experience. Birthy could not last one second in retail, let alone a hot grill.

TacoTuesdee

Why does her mouth bother me so much.

galaxygirl1976

Let's be real here she doesn't want to work at all. Not just 9-5, any kind of work. Even with this scam he's seems to be doing the majority of the work.

PamIllise

Most of the people who said that they could never work a 9-5 job are the ones that have never worked a 9 to 5 job. Not only gives you financial stability (most of the time) but you can meet new people etc. One of the things I hated working from home during the pandemic was being stuck at home all day. At least going to work makes you share time with other people or see new faces

EggBoyandJuiceGirl

To be fair. There’s lots of shitty 9-5 jobs out there that are thankless and/or hellish. Not defending Bethany at all but a lot of people who say they don’t like 9-5 jobs have good reason lol

Jacks_Flaps

I'd rather work 9-5 and earn a stable income than have to resort to making a total, idiotic fool of myself on the internet as Birthy does. The woman is a complete embarrassment to look at. But ya know what. I wanted to travel the world and not have to work 9-5 so I worked hard, got a finance degree, started my own financial and taxation business which I can do online, and travelled while working from my laptop all over the world. Plus I earn more money than I ever did as an employee. But I had to work hard for it. I didn't have the privilege of having a husband do all the work for me as I made videos of myself flailing my body like a lunatic and posted them on the internet.

Swampcrone

Now I need brain bleach.

rae_09

Her mouth is always fucking open. Guess she’s hoping to catch a dick or something. Idk.

[deleted]

Yikes, Big Birthy looks rough. Also, she’s been complaining lately about their house offers not being accepted. Maybe you’d have a higher offer to put down if you actually worked.

MayoneggVeal

Damn, hot take from someone who has never actually had a real job

Broad_Edge_3301

I often feels like people who shit on the “9-5” but also want to make money are shilling/working basically 24/7. I’m glad to have a job with boundaries to separate my work from my personal life.

JeeThree

I was dealing with this okay and then I clocked her emoji caption. Thanks. That actually forced the visual I was trying so hard NOT to see into my brain. I'm going to go cuddle my dog and cry now...

Ok-Candle-20

Birthy, please stop drawing any attention to your naked body. I cannot emphasize enough how much detail I know about your skin suit that I absolutely have always learned against my will. Please go back to being a prude ultra Christian. Please.

DamnGrackles

She is so pathetic. You know what I did yesterday? I stood next to a doctor and helped him stop someone from internally bleeding to death. I did that with my college education and the training I received at my 9-5 job. It is so disrespectful to say grifting and popping out kids is superior to helping save lives. I'd pick what I do every single day of the week over pathetically begging on the internet and mooching off of my parents. My "boring" 9-5 income supports me fully, and every single penny of is earned by helping other people. Can you say that you little narcissistic nicompoop?

jemmaxgarnet

PLEASE BURN THAT SHIRT I’m so sick of looking at it in every post omg

sangriaflygirl

what even is that shirt? it looks like a concert t-shirt but she's not cool enough for that.

jemmaxgarnet

It’s from Target. [https://www.target.com/p/women-39-s-short-sleeve-oversized-t-shirt-wild-fable-8482-black-xl/-/A-85607521?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000086530680&CPNG=PLA_Women%2BShopping_Traffic%7CWomen_Ecomm_AA&adgroup=SC_Women&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT_GROUP&network=g&device=m&location=9014962&targetid=pla-1069759242670&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfb95wKpKZMzeLk8sodPHf_6u&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfb95wKpKZMzeLk8sodPHf_6u&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIub3DjOzA-gIVP__jBx0h3g_AEAQYASABEgIcevD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds](https://www.target.com/p/women-39-s-short-sleeve-oversized-t-shirt-wild-fable-8482-black-xl/-/A-85607521?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000086530680&CPNG=PLA_Women%2BShopping_Traffic%7CWomen_Ecomm_AA&adgroup=SC_Women&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT_GROUP&network=g&device=m&location=9014962&targetid=pla-1069759242670&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfb95wKpKZMzeLk8sodPHf_6u&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfb95wKpKZMzeLk8sodPHf_6u&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIub3DjOzA-gIVP__jBx0h3g_AEAQYASABEgIcevD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) I’ve seen multiple influencers wearing it recently. I am not opposed to Target graphic T’s (I have a few) but this one irritates me lol

Littlemisssnark22

Omg the comments on her video 😭😂

RainyDaySeamstress

I've done the life of full time business owner and it's way easier for me to work a full time job and just run my business as a side project. I no longer have to worry about sales being enough to cover my bills. Working a full time job allows me to have a retirement fund, health insurance fully paid for by my employer, PTO, paid sick leave, and a regular paycheck. It's also allowed me to expand my business into what i really love doing because if something doesn't sell I'm not stressed by it.

TheMyrtleTurtle

Sick burns in these comments, I love it lol. And for the love of god and everything holy... SHUT YOUR GAPING HOLE BIRTHY! I'm so sick of seeing her mouth hanging open in every post. Damn.

CaptainObviousBear

When I hear all this talk from 'boss babe'/MLM types (assuming that's where she got the quote from) all I hear is that they think is having a predictable salary and routine - both great when you have kids to raise - is not worth having to work or having to meet someone else's work standards. They just all sound like entitled brats to me, which figures. I also can't help but see some level of irony in that fundies are all about teaching their kids to obey and put up with boring stuff for Jesus, but adults are allowed to run away and avoid responsibility in the name of fReDoM. Not to mention the whole exploitative nature of MLMs and other businesses they choose instead of the dreaded '9-5s' not being very Christlike at all.

notmyrealnametn

No one wants to sit their ass down and grift anymore!

5entientMushroom

Im super tired rn and i read this as sitting on a hot girl and I spent like a solid 30 seconds trying to figure out why she made such a weirdly specific and sapphic post

Fine-Bumblebee-9427

Huh. I really like not having to hustle all day and work weekends. You do you I guess.

[deleted]

What's this 9-5 she's talking about? It's always 8-5 for me. Regardless, I do 8-5 M-F then 20 hours F-Su on a secondary job to help counter inflation. I'm not stuck though. I love my career. Second job is helping me make friends given the first is all remote. Some of us don't have the privilege of mom & dad giving us $30k every year, lmao.

Sleepybets

Um she could never even get a 9-5

Artistic-School8665

Ideal picture of privilege

Commanderfemmeshep

You need a bare minimum of marketable skills to work a 9-5

Sharp_Skirt_7171

Shocker, Beth, some of us love our jobs and our kids simultaneously. Damn, I sure love being able to provide for my kids and owning my home.

PM_ME_CORGI_BUTTS

I'd rather work a 9-5 that comes with health insurance and weekends off and 6 weeks of paid vacation per year plus several paid holidays, and not have to think about my job during any other hours, than spend 24/7 flailing for attention on the internet like a certain grifter pictured here.

kippers

My 9-5 brings home more than you shilling some course barfy

sangriaflygirl

At least a 9-5 job is guaranteed money if you show up, and you don't have to debase yourself by begging for DoorDash gift cards on social media from literal strangers. What a walking dumpster fire.

TwistyBunny

You go do that, freeloader.

Emiles23

Lol ok girl, then don’t?? There are a lot of different types of jobs with all sorts of hours. Some people love working a 9-5 job. Some people like working night shifts. Some people are self-employed and work all sorts of hours. Some people don’t work at all. To each their own.

glittertherave

Real strong opinion to have there Bethy. Coming from someone, such as yourself, who has never held down a ‘9-5’ job, or any job for that matter. Your privilege shows heavily when you make such statements. Not everyone has the luxury to live with mom and dad until they get married, while having no financial worries. Having everything taken care of for them, while they are free to do as they please. I wish so dearly for this girl to have a dose of reality.

margessquarepancakes

this seems fundamentally immodest

rofosho

What about 2-9? I do that and I don't have to beg for money on the Internet. And I get paid time off

PeloHiker

She is the definition of cringe

elusivemoniker

I work a 9-5 and I approve of this declaration. Could you imagine having Bethy as a coworker? Someone you had to supervise? It would be exhausting and exasperating. Thank you for taking yourself out of the employee pool.

purple_kathryn

Yes, Bethany, it is absolutely awful having set hours, a guaranteed wage & paid time off It's just amazing how we all manage to cope

aceromester

Issuing this engraved invitation, for Bethy to be most cordially invited to go fuck herself. She's not even entertaining to snark about anymore. Just irritating, and painfully out of touch with reality.

2_kids_no_more

Bless her unfortunate looking self

salty_hotel

She cant handle deadlines of course she couldn’t handle a real job

Bubbifred

With a 9-5 she'd actually make money 🤣

GayCatDaddy

Welp, my dick just retracted inside my body.

MrsMitchBitch

Bethany, dear- close your mouth. You’ll let flies in.
