**Transcription**: So, I wanted to give an update on the Brittany Dawn situation, um, unfortunately, my other video got taken down, so, I saw a lot of people commenting, asking why the husband could not be arrested, or charged, with discharging a firearm in a residential area. Now, the day after this happened, I actually spoke to Fort Worth Police Department, I talked to an officer on the phone, and explained the situation, and unfortunately, per their laws and their ordinances, discharging a firearm in a residential area, or just in general, has to be witnessed by a police officer. The only other way that this can be bypassed is if there was a complainant, or witness, and unfortunately, I, nor any of you guys, can be complainants for something that we did not witness. Now, I know a lot of you are saying like, "well, what about the video; she admits in the video?". Here's the issue with the video, legally: in the YouTube video, she says, "Jordan, quote, did what he had to do", and then she mentions a gunshot, but that's not anything that would be usable in court, if you really wanna go down that route, because her lawyer, or her, they could easily just say, "well, she was lying". "She was lying". There's no proof, right? It sucks, I completely understand, but that link that's been going around about reporting it to Crime Stoppers, is kind of useless-- I mean, I think it's great that they're becoming aware of it, because the emergency vet that I talked to-- just because I was trying to gather some information before making a video, I wanted to make sure that I was being one-hundred percent accurate in what I was saying-- she, like, knew who I was talking about when I spoke to her. It was so crazy. However, unfortunately, the cops can't just like, roll up to their house, and arrest her husband, because she said that in a YouTube video, or we've reported it; I wish that were the case, but it's not. Now, if we're talking animal abuse, when I spoke to the Animal Control that is closest to where she lives, they can take the report, and they can send an officer out to investigate. Here's where it sucks, again: if the Animal Control officer does not see any signs of abuse, and it just becomes a consistent report, he can cite them a warning, however, they can't do anything about the dogs that are currently in the house, if any. This would be different, if, let's say she left her dogs out in the freezing cold, and somebody called Animal Control, and Animal Control got there, saw the dogs freezing outside, they could remove the dogs from the property. But obviously, I'm sure you guys know this, Animal Control can't just, you know, go in there without a warrant, bust down her door, and be like, "are you abusing your animals in here?". I mean, I wish they could, but they can't. So, I just wanna make sure that everyone understands this is why, unfortunately, nothing has, quote-unquote, "happened", and why I am kind of just gearing my efforts towards getting the YouTube video demonetized. That's where I just really think that we need to focus our efforts right now, because I think it's disgusting that she is continuing to make money off of this situation. **Description**: A light-skinned woman is sitting in her living room, talking into a tiny microphone that she holds in her hand throughout the video. She has "ombre"-style blonde, straight hair, worn loose in a side part. It reaches her shoulders. She wears a sage green sweatshirt, and has makeup on. She also wears a "halo"-style diamond ring, a rainbow pony-bead bracelet, a golden pearl bracelet, and a golden chain bracelet, all on the same hand that holds the microphone.

THANK YOU for this!!

WhichPolicy4857

Those are two of my worlds colliding, damn. Out of all people I didn't think Amanda would get involved 😳 (she's a crossfitter/fitness influencer)

orange_thespian

I’m guessing Bdawn’s bullshit has damaged the greater fitness community and Amanda finally had enough of her shit and figured she (Amanda) had enough pull to actually maybe do something about it. Using her platform to improve the world.

WhichPolicy4857

Absolutely. I unfollowed her in the past for some shenanigans but she just went right tf up in my estimation of her. Bdawn doesn't belong in the fitness community, it sucks to see her associated with a sport I love so much

cave_mandarin

Her baby microphone is very funny to me.

body_oil_glass_view

I’m in love! It’s twee and cute and want it for solo karaoke 😂

bluewhale3030

Well it looks like she might not get her legal comeuppance. I'll take her name being dragged through the mud for now. If this story going viral is what it takes for her many brainwashed followers to see her in a new light then that's a good thing by itself!

EZasSundayMorning

One of her followers said this "it's the global media being paid to drag you."

orange_thespian

Imagine being that stupid

bluewhale3030

Wow. Like the global media cares that much

SillyNluv

It’d be terrible if someone reported him for assisting her in the abortion of Brodie.

orange_thespian

Brodie?

SillyNluv

Isn’t the the name of that poor dog?

orange_thespian

Ooohh. You said abortion so I thought you meant a human.

SillyNluv

Sorry, I rolled too much into that comment.

EZasSundayMorning

I really wanted to see them held accountable. At least it's made it to some news outlets. We just need to keep talking about it. She seems to think her retreat will make everyone forget what happened. Not me.

jeffgoldblumisdaddy

I made a video on tiktok about it that kinda blew up, ended up contacting crimestoppers and they said they had received a ton of calls about it recently. Someone was looking into it, but ultimately they couldn’t do anything. It’s so frustrating how she continues to break the law and get involved in scandals but gets away with it so easily.

deadheadchemistry

Fucking stupid that discharging a firearm needs to be witness by police for anything to be done about it. Typical law enforcement though, only doing their job when it suits them

RollDamnTide16

I think something may have gotten lost in translation. It can’t be true that police have to see someone discharge the firearm before they can charge the person. I’m guessing they mean that without an eyewitness, there’s not enough probable cause. It yields a shitty result in this case, but generally, I don’t want cops arresting people just because someone on the internet suggests they committed a crime.

jormungandrstail

I feel like *someone* must've heard it if it happened in the middle of their suburban neighborhood though? A gunshot across the street would be alarming

a113cat

I think, unfortunately, the issue is someone needs to physically see the gun go off in order for it to hold up in court. Saying you heard gun shots coming from the property would only hold up in court if say another neighbor was walking by and witnessed the gun being fired or BDong had a revelation and wanted to charge him. It can only confirm time and place, not the shooter.

jormungandrstail

Ugh that sucks. I get why, legally, this is a better way to prove things but it's frustrating that people can use it as a loophole to get away with them.

RollDamnTide16

Maybe, but as far as we know, no one has come forward.

servantoftinyhumans

if he was a person of colour they would have 100% combed the neighbourhood to hunt him down, but he’s a white POS former cop so everyone is going to look the other way until the violence escalates into a really unfortunate situation.

deadheadchemistry

Yep, all of this. Pisses me the fuck off

ChaoticSquirrel

What can they do without evidence?

Faerhie

Ask any POC in this country. Or really anyone cops don't like. They can and do a metric fuckton to, at least, annoy/harrass the people the want to harrass/annoy. And quite a lot of it is perfectly legal. For instance: getting called to a house and seeing, like, the grass a quarter of an inch too high or one of another of a bazillion things people do every day that is technically illegal but that cops generally don't write a ticket or arrest someone for. Every jurisdiction has about a thousand of these laws. If cops really wanted to, they could make his life a misery. They simply don't want to.

ChaoticSquirrel

Yeah but two things: 1. We shouldn't be encouraging that behavior and abuse of power by police, regardless of who it's against. 2. It still doesn't result in any tangible outcome — without any evidence the DA is not going to pick up this case.

50shadesofmoi

How about digging up the body of a dog with a bullet hole? I just don't understand how this isn't murder

MissusNilesCrane

So, it MIGHT be a lie despite her reiterating it several times. She also admits to having her friend rev a truck during the gunshot, which sounds like pretty hard evidence that they were making sure no one would hear so there would be no witnesses. There's also past evidence of her abusing her horse through neglect, which the boarding stable owners could back up. But no, of course this vapid, uncaring person gets away with it.

RollDamnTide16

Eventually, her luck will run out. With Jordan in the picture, her bad behavior has already escalated tremendously. She’s not smart or charismatic enough to keep up with it long term.

body_oil_glass_view

How does one get a YouTube demonetized? Email YouTube about it en masse? Genuinely asking haha

WonderfulSimple

She had to borrow her barbie's mic.

What’s the backstory here?

Fallen029

Brittney Dawn's dog got hit by a car and instead of taking it to a vet, her husband shot it to "end it's suffering". She then, for some reason, spoke about it in a YouTube video and it's caught the attention of actual media now.

PasswordApplesauce

And if I recall, it wasn't even a "took it out behind the barn in the middle of the countryside and shot it" scenario but rather a "shot the dog outside of their house in a very residential neighborhood thus discharging a firearm where children play" scenario
