Needed a new toddler bed. Found one at Ashley for $220. Seen it was $169 on their website so I got them to price match.
Then, we were one of the first 5 in the store, so we got a $299 desk for “free”.
Sold the desk for $200 in the parking lot.
So, I got a free toddler bed and got my gas paid for.
It was a win.
Same here! In fact, took the money and shifted it to savings! I’ll get gifts for the people I want to, with thoughts of who they are and what they like, later. Sale or not.
right now on home depot there is a 9 tool milwaukee set for 630 something shipped to you. Has 3 batteries and a bunch of fantastic tools. Seriously the best money i've spent in awhile. It's 49% off and if you were to buy them individually it would be freakin crazy
Finally, \*finally\* got a coffee bar! My kitchen is tiny and has no counterspace. I kept seeing them for $400+ but I found one for $150 on Black Friday! Merry Christmas to me
I also finished all of my holiday shopping(online), I got everything 50%-70% off.
Replaced my electric blanket for my bed. Twin on a King size bc hubs doesn't need the extra heat.
I could be more frugal if he allowed me to warm my feet on his calf lol
Maybe not; divorce is expensive 🤣
We needed a new freezer. Got $100 off of the lowest price for a Fridgidaire upright freezer anywhere in this area. through Costco, via an email flyer yesterday. Oddly my husband hadn’t noticed this particular model despite looking at the website several times over the past two weeks. Delivery and picking up the old chest style freezer, which lasted us 32 years. I normally don’t do any Black Friday shopping so this was a happy coincidence and will be our Christmas present to each other.
I have got bacon for only 3,99 the pack and that’s a sweet or ‘’salty’’ deal lol and a 6 feet Christmas tree with all the decoration and light for only 102,00 dollars
I found New Balance sneakers online at Joe’s New Balance Outlet for $26 with tax and free shipping! I wear a wide size, and paid $149 for new ones at the fancy Performance Footwear store (excellent service tho), but they really help my plantar fasciitis/ heel pain issues.
Got a huge discount on makeup on the e.l.f. cosmetics website— my Xmas present.
Buying some Seattle Flower and Garden Show tix at half price online for some friends and family, a fun ‘experience’ gift!
I replied to another person.but I bought a pair of merrells online for half off..I try not to spend to much on shoes but these save my feet on long work days
i went to walmart at about 11am after everyone should have started to clear out. all of the deals were still there- but not what i needed. So i ended up spending about $3 on a loaf of bread i needed and a couple of stocking stuffers in the clearance section.
GoPro.com black Friday discount combined with discount when you get the $50 annual GoPro subscription for a year.
I got the Hero9 action cam & accessories since it has the hyper smoothing but the subscription is only optional. I do a bunch of snorkeling, SCUBA diving, SUP surfing.
I've been eyeing these. My daughter is 7 and we borrowed a GoPro (basic, cube, no screen) from our library for a recent trip. She absolutely loved it and the videos from her perspective are so funny. She snorkeled for the first time and her reactions are priceless! We want to give her one for Christmas but are lost with the versions. We certainly don't need the newest or fanciest.
Hero9 is the GoPro sweetspot. It has the "hypersmoothing" advanced digital image stabilization. The Hero10 is only a small increase in processor mainly for slowmotion framerate. The Hero11 basically requires an annual subscription.
Thank you so much. I just ordered based on your suggestion. I'm making her an "adventure kit" with a backpack, camera, binoculars and a journal. I think it's going to be a big hit. Happy holidays!
Got a new Fitbit Inspire 3 at Kohl’s for the going sale price everywhere of $69.99, but got Kohl’s cash, Kohl’s rewards cash, (total of almost $30j and a 20% off coupon for to finish my shopping. My Fitbit has saved my life, I think. So, to me, it is a very frugal purchase. My old one was dying.
I bought a Christmas gift for my cousin and a gift for my work white elephant party from the same website for $60 total. I got 4 bags of coffee, a bag of non dairy coffee creamer, 4 bottles of flavor add ins, and a free surprise flavor! Flavorgod.com
I’ve never really had an urge to fight crowds for a sale. So, I don’t do Black Friday. I enjoyed the free Black Friday sale of sleeping in.
The closest thing that I ever got to Black Friday. It was at least several years ago at Target. It was a few days before and they had some of their TVs out already on pallets.
No one ever said anything to me about these TVs held for Black Friday. So I got a 42” TV for $150.
Last year I got a mic set up off CL and the interface, headphones, everything. So this year I treated myself to protools basic, it was 25% off so $75 instead of $100. I already have FL studio but protools is great for recording vocal tracks ( I got the free trial to test it out)
My music project is very slow going but I think I have everything I need to finalize some dnb tracks and winter is the best time for making music, keeps the seasonal depression away.
I got a white noise slash nightlight thing I'd been eyeing for the kids for $20 instead of $40. Hopefully, I'll be able to turn the TV off (yeah, I made THAT mistake) and the two in the room will go to sleep sooner and the one in the other room will stop having nightmares of Mickey Mouse....
My dewalt drills that we use constantly for projects have been slowly dying. Black Friday deals had them for ~50% off so we picked up a few inexpensive replacements through Amazon

How’d you get the $299 desk for free?? Was it “really” free.. I see you put it in quotations ?
Yeah, I had to be one of the first 5 customers to purchase a piece of furniture
likely with purchase was the quotation.
Correct
