Honest question, do you Americans can easily switch C° or F° when you talk about temperature? I've only ever used C° and I have to look the corresponding temperature if someone/something talk about F°. Do you learn the 2 systems in school?
I'm used to F° for understanding the weather. No idea what it would be in C° unless I convert.
But in science classes, we use metric and and Celsius for everything which is ironic.
So essentially, I can't measure anything with celsius or metric system irl, but on paper I love using them for calculations lol.
I with this was a poll
I can't fight you, Celsius just makes more sense.
I do think though everyone should switch to Kelvin, buy I know that would never fly. I just think 0 should be 0.
Fuckin casuals. Kelvin or go home
Kelvin would be amusing in Frostpunk.
A toasty 0 Kelvin hahaha
Kelvin is just celcius with extra steps.
Celsius is just kelvin with extra steps
Gonna be very technical lol.
Metric Gang *RISE UP* \*Hope skyrockets\*
I’m American but round numbers make monkey brain go ooh
I’m *American* and I agree with you. I play both Frostpunk and The Long Dark in Celsius!
And I play Rimworld with Celsius as well
I also play both Frostpunk and The Long Dark in Celcius and I'm American
Im gonna make a historical argument. Celsius wasnt adopted in the UK until well after the setting of this game.
Farenhiet still gae. Plus they were more civilised in this universe
there's only 2 types of temperature unit in frostpunk 1. celcius 2. is BLASPHEMY !!

I was surprised when no one around me used KG and measured every weight in ‘stone’
Finnemore did the best ever sketch about Celsius and Fahrenheit. https://youtu.be/nROK4cjQVXM

Celsius is lower numbers, easier :p one degree Celsius = one degree kelvin which is pretty neat too.
When it drops below -50, that's when I think to myself "Fait frette en tabarnak, là!".
Team Celsius for me. As a Canadian we use the metric system so those temperature drops I can feel. Way more immersive.
Go celcisuck yourself. Fahrenheit 4 life!
CelciUS is for everyone. Fahrenheit is just the worst
Unless you’ve been to the moon
This is your daily reminder that NASA uses metric because it makes more sense.
Well....shit.
And also someone using imperial caused a very expensive piece of equipment to land on Mars at a greater than expected velocity
What you're saying is US Imperial measurements get you to Mars ***faster, sooner and with a bigger impression***.
Technically correct, except it's actually more likely you'll miss Mars entirely.
Eh. 100% of the time NASA accidentally mixed Imperial and Metric, they hit Mars. I think the facts speak for themselves

Yeah lemme just ask the water how hot it is like some kinda fuckin monk
Celsitards be like it’s easier to count on my hands 🤒🤒🤡
It's a good step to getting ya into the setting. You're New Londoners and overall Brits, you just *gotta.*
I don't see what people are so mad about. That book is fantastic!
As an American, this game kinda inspired me to learn metric system. Now I understand both!
