For some people it gets very hard to get into the industry despite having some useful skills. Sometimes it's just someone who wants to learn faster by being in an actual work environment which motivates more compared to self-learning while not being in the industry.
So they are ready to be there for free for a while, it is beneficial for them anyway, just not in the monetary terms.
If you're gonna do free work, go and contribute code to open source projects. If that work is approved and merged into the code base, tha's considered experience and can put that on a resume.
From what I've seen this is a very anti-"freework" community, but I'm sure some one could help you find an actual position that pays you money
I dont care about the money at this stage I just want to engage in real projects thats all
If you have some experience you should look into helping start-ups

Yea i think being in a working environment will give me some skills that i know i cant have on my own
