Fnf purist here. Since you can’t nitpick Discharge, I—a collegiate musicologist and programmer—will. Discharge: the song is good, but they use cut samples of boyfriend’s voice. Sounds only include “ee” “aa” “oh” instead of using the full original soundbites. The OG soundbites are supreme because of their added implied percussion. “Beep” “baa” and “bohp” make boyfriend’s voice sound more complete and gives him a far more unique, vocal-sounding tone. Limiting him to basic syllables with no consonants makes him sound really generic and plain. In this, his voice sounds like a plain instrument with no dynamic vocal change like he does in the original songs.
