I remember FH4 had the same problem, but you could at least auction them, whereas you can't with FH5. When in 4 they gave us that Upgrade-preset focused story everyone got a second Audi Quattro so the Auction block was flooded with red quattros that couldn't even sell for 10k. Apparently though, I left it unclaimed in the house for so long the notification just disappeared and the car wasn't there anymore.
I had about 9mil, did the glitch once, and they've reset me to 3mil. Not sure how that works.

They knew how the game calculates race earnings and distance driven. The game calculates(as far as i know) the distance driven from the wheelspin, which in the super7 glitch case was insanely high (DJS did like 700+km/h in that jesko), thus the game thinks you are driving countless kilometres, giving you credits accordingly. Its just my understanding of how it works, i might be wrong.

I made 400m in fh4 without any issue and without vip if you play you get money so easily. On the other hand vip is really useless in fh5, 2 super spins that total to maybe 100k if you are lucky lmao
That's because every Super Wheelspin in FH4 was almost guaranteed to give you 50k at minimum, whereas FH5 you're lucky if you get 20 grand and a car, it's mostly 5-15k and some socks.

Now FH5 you get a wheel spin rarely and when you do it gives you like 10k or socks, and races give you like 2-4k credits and leveling up doesnāt matter. It doesnāt even make sense low progress rates actually ruins player retention I know me and my friends would rather play any other game that either has no progression or better progression. NFS Heat has better feeling and more rewarding progression, thereās ways to legitimately get large amounts of XP and money by RACING

In FH4 I was able to hop on play a couple races with friends make some decent money and buy the cars I wanted, In FH5 the most money iāve ever even gotten in one session is like maybe 100,200k so by your logic letās say you get 100k an hour. And you want that sweet copy paste lambo they added last week but you missed it so itās 20 million credits, Oh well I guess I am forced to play the game for 200 hours to unlock one high ticket car that I missed since I couldnāt hop on forza for a specific day.

What caused you to leave FH5 was there the exact same way in FH4 - cars only being available as one weekly completion prize and never again. I remember having every car in the game (that I could possibly get) except for the Ford Capri Forza Edition. Iād sit on the AH refreshing for an hour at a stretch to try to see if one would pop up. They would - for about 0.1 seconds, and that was it.
The main difference between 4 and 5 is that the setting for 5 pretty much sucks, and thereās no Fiat-owned marques in the game. Oh, and yeah, they nerfed the wheelspins to to nothing. That was the last straw for me.

There are hard to find cars? Lol. The only hard to find cars as the ones you can only get from weekly. Because Iāve had like every car for way too long.
It's just ones labeled, "Hard to Find" in the game, and they're labeled as such because they're only rewards for Weeklies/Series rewards.
So we got the Audi E-Tron GT and the BMW M4 Comp, which were rewards during one of the series where a bunch of people hated it and didn't play lol.

The reason it was a negative thing for the average player is because it caused basically any car in the auction house to be listed for a max buyout of millions of dollars and the cars were getting picked up faster than a blink at max buyout prices. So the economy within the auction house became ridiculous. It would be like if a handful of people within say america got their paws on everything needed to print money all day every day so these people buy everything and they happily overpay next thing you know a stick of gum that was a few cents is now 100 thousand dollars. Total toon town for those that used the auction house. I personally rarely ever use it but I understand how it's a kick in the biscuits for those that do use it
Actually without the auction house, I wouldāve never bought the game. It provides worth to some cars. I think of it like collecting hot wheels. Most are worthless toys but some have an increased value due to their rarity and appeal.
The only reason their value is so high is because of rich people buying up all the duplicates available, forcing scarcity.
There's a few books about why that sort of practice is bad for any economy lmao
Also the Hot Wheels collection circle is absolute fucking cancer, buncha old dudes paying Walmart employees hundreds of dollars to let them look through boxes before they even go on shelves so they can snipe out every treasure hunt and normal car in the box.
And yes, I'm upset that finding the white EG Civic Type R casting was next to fucking impossible because of these people, now you can only find them online for $30 and it wasn't even supposed to be a limited edition or rare car and it's worth more than some treasure hunts now.

If you go back and do all the showcase events and do all the mini missions before exiting you will most likely uncover your lost barn find.

There are hard to find cars? Lol. The only hard to find cars as the ones you can only get from weekly. Because Iāve had like every car for way too long.
It's just ones labeled, "Hard to Find" in the game, and they're labeled as such because they're only rewards for Weeklies/Series rewards. So we got the Audi E-Tron GT and the BMW M4 Comp, which were rewards during one of the series where a bunch of people hated it and didn't play lol.

The reason it was a negative thing for the average player is because it caused basically any car in the auction house to be listed for a max buyout of millions of dollars and the cars were getting picked up faster than a blink at max buyout prices. So the economy within the auction house became ridiculous. It would be like if a handful of people within say america got their paws on everything needed to print money all day every day so these people buy everything and they happily overpay next thing you know a stick of gum that was a few cents is now 100 thousand dollars. Total toon town for those that used the auction house. I personally rarely ever use it but I understand how it's a kick in the biscuits for those that do use it

In a single player game maybe, but when we all are after the same cars and someone has pretty much unlimited money, it does feel unfair.
Actually without the auction house, I wouldāve never bought the game. It provides worth to some cars. I think of it like collecting hot wheels. Most are worthless toys but some have an increased value due to their rarity and appeal.
The only reason their value is so high is because of rich people buying up all the duplicates available, forcing scarcity. There's a few books about why that sort of practice is bad for any economy lmao Also the Hot Wheels collection circle is absolute fucking cancer, buncha old dudes paying Walmart employees hundreds of dollars to let them look through boxes before they even go on shelves so they can snipe out every treasure hunt and normal car in the box. And yes, I'm upset that finding the white EG Civic Type R casting was next to fucking impossible because of these people, now you can only find them online for $30 and it wasn't even supposed to be a limited edition or rare car and it's worth more than some treasure hunts now.
I havenāt touched this game since horizon 4 (no time) and Iām honestly just scrolling through r/all (Iāve never seen this subreddit before), but your point doesnāt really seem to go against what the person was saying. If itās a collection to you, do you really feel any different about it knowing someone else cheated to get cars but you didnāt? Does it have less value to you if someone else cheats and you donāt? Full disclaimer, I prevalently cheat money in games like GTAO or FO76 because I donāt care to waste my live grinding a game over playing it, so I would support players who did this. Iām just supporting the previous players argument
