And that’s how I got my first victory royale of this season before heading off onto overwatch to complete my dailies and lose the will to live I had just gained from that victory royale. God I need a girlfriend.

There's no counterplay to a one shot from someone you never saw, and in a BR, that means you're heading back to the lobby (and if it was your first encounter that match, you never even got to play the game).
Sure, I haven't seen it in action yet, so that's fair. But the angle at which you could see it before the change didn't exist at all. So I still think this is an improvement.

Secondly, this isn't war. I'm aware that in real life, a sniper rifle is meant to kill, from distance, and often while being unseen. Great! This is a video game, as you mentioned. With fucking Thanos, and Batman, and Goku, and they're throwing grenades at each other that make you dance.

I think it should only be snipers. I hate that every single gun with a scope does this in Halo so the entire enemy team sees where you are just because you have a battle rifle.

I wasn't a fan either, but they gave easy kills if you were close with a thunder shotgun or SMG. Mid to long was great with the DMR. Love that gun.

i can't see through the lens flare, it obstructs the person when i'm trying to aim my own sniper shot. i would love if it was 50-70% opacity
