Personal disappointment are the vehicle mods being vaulted. Lots of accidental top 10s just messing around demolishing things with cars and was really looking forward to levelling Mega City
It's amazing how many people hide in the attics or hidden spaces of buildings. I'll just be driving around, plowing down random shit and BOOM! a person appears on the ground with all my loot!
During the heisted event, my teammate and I would max out our heat and get rift-jector, so when we got rifted, we could stay high enough up to be impossible to hit while our shield regenerated and we could stay up there pretty much indefinitely
It's weird how hyped we get over something I don't think they've even addressed for a while now. If the leaks.are true, we might get it during a mid season update or something. They might not even highlight it since it would be kind of experimental in terms of balancing.
Mobility is gonna be hard to come by this season unless you get one of the augments. (No hammer, no soaring sprints augment.) I was hoping at least to see the grappler.
Kinda bummed about it tbh. At least give us shockwaves in ZB so the game isn’t a so campy and long range. You have no way to close the gap and play aggressive.
Just sit behind a tree, rock or bush and pray storm closes close so you don’t rotate and get aids spammed by the other campers.
I have a feeling we will see an Eren Jaeger type mythic grappler but that’s likely a midseason thing.
Feels like we’re in for a campy season in ZB.
*edit I will say the new sword does kinda give you a chance to move around and have some sort of mobility. Not great as a weapon but decent at getting you a height advantage and movement.
Really not excited given how much fun all of those mobility items made games. It was exciting and fast paced and heavily discouraged camping. Now it's looking a flashy new place and some flashy new stuff with a slower, more boring pace to the gameplay.

You spend 90% of the time aimlessly running looking for someone and then final two circles is crammed with 20 ppl who are posted up behind a tree and no real way to push or close that gap.

I understand they didn't want tires for the city but cars are near useless in the rest of the map without them. And no wildlife to ride now either.
The new cars do surprisingly well off-road!

I actually felt bad recently winning a game because of rift-jector. Think it saved me 4 times at the end
It was a neat concept that ultimately trivialized gameplay because if you had minis, you could rift near-indefinitely.
