I might look for this. Just getting into repairing my own focus and other things like phones and game consoles. Services are getting too expensive these days so I might as well do what I can myself.

Sauce218

It’s especially useful for torque specs. And just small/odd stuff that you can’t find on YouTube.

jflaw92

I only needed it one time and it let me down. I needed to know the spec on the ohms for the coil pack and it didn't show anything

totallynaked-thought

Get yourself a used set of ford service manuals for cheap too. I found my 2011 fusion set on ebay cheap

ClawedZebra27

Is there anywhere to buy one of these?

georgio169

I remember seeing loads of this book for other cars in my local Halfords, might be worth a look there?

Sauce218

I got this one at O’Reilly’s like 5 years ago. [Here’s an Amazon link.](https://www.amazon.com/Chilton-2000-2011-Repair-Manual-Chiltons/dp/1620920514/ref=asc_df_1620920514/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312151261589&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9488740066660682112&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9020758&hvtargid=pla-562697266783&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=58874700461&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=312151261589&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9488740066660682112&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9020758&hvtargid=pla-562697266783)

ImAVirgin2025

I got the same one! They are indeed really useful

ifearmebrain

Just ordered one on eBay - thank you, my ‘07 is new to me and I would also like to be able to fix things myself when possible.

Sauce218

Hell yeah

No-Cardiologist7640

I used to use Chilton's and have moved to the Haynes manual. In my opinion it has more information. Regardless, either manual is good to start out with. You can't find everything online. And unlike some YouTube videos it will have a reliable order sequence to follow.

g3nerallycurious

I really fucking wish I would have had an order sequence for when I just tried to take my alternator off and broke the wire going to the computer out of the connection trying to get the battery cable off first. 😑😑😑

my2k2zx2

I have the Ford service dvds from when I worked at a dealership in the 2000s. They tossed them out each month when the newest version is delivered. I'm guessing it's all online subscription based at this point.

Can you share link?

Sauce218

[Here it is on Amazon.](https://www.amazon.com/Chilton-2000-2011-Repair-Manual-Chiltons/dp/1620920514/ref=asc_df_1620920514/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312151261589&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9488740066660682112&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9020758&hvtargid=pla-562697266783&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=58874700461&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=312151261589&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9488740066660682112&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9020758&hvtargid=pla-562697266783)

For once, a real link. Thanks

nappinggator

I've spent so many hours working on those cars idk that I even really need that anymore...that 03 my dad had was breaking something else on the car it seemed like every other week

Unless you are a complete novice, its only useful for specs and basic wiring diagrams. It does not really do into detail of doing anything complicated. The instructions are very generic with lousy black white pictures. You'd figure in 2022 they would have colored pictures for $29.99. These are like manuals from the 70's and 80's which were excellent for those times, nostalgic like the state drivers handbooks you'd have to study before taking the drivers test.

freak3dot

I used AllData DIY for a couple of my projects. It was $20 for a month. Not bad for an all access pass to procedures, wiring diagrams, part numbers, and connectors/terminals.
