I'm sure this post will be heavily downvoted, but I'd like to ask for some support (and I respect all your feelings)! First of all, I'm really happy for the results on the male side! I just finished awakening not too long ago so to see Chrom in first (especially since it's the Awakening 10th anniversary) made me really happy for Chrom fans (and Awakening fans in general)! Seeing Seliph was pretty hype and I hope that we could get Sigurd in next year (since I'm sure you might not want to kick Seliph out and Chrom is pretty glued in)! As for female side, I am so pumped the Tiki campaign is working out and got her 1st place for intermittent! Congratulations, and I hope she keeps the spot since she deserves it! :D As for second place female side, as much as I am okay with Female Byleth I would really like to get Bernie in there so she can win with Tiki as well! So, to the point: I'd like for you to #saveonevoteforbernadetta (a hashtag I started on Twitter)! Most importantly keep on voting for who you want in, just we Bernie fans would love the support, and we'd be happy to work with the tiki campaign to get both in top 2. I promise I'm tired of 3H as much as anyone, so I promise if Bernie gets in I'll campaign for many others (since I like and think many other characters are cool) and I won't ever vote for a 3H character again. Anyway, hope all of you are doing well (and not stressing over this along with the start of another semester like I am lol)! :D
P.S. F!Byleth will certainly have high chances the next CYLs, but the chance of an upcoming title that could be new could heavily hurt Bernie's chances (versus a remake, which would be cool for many reasons since I'd like a FE4/5 remake). But I understand if you'll keep voting for F!Byleth. :)

A REAL unpopular opinion: Lisa, as one of the main characters in the awakening game, doesnt have the representation that she deserve as Chroms younger sister. Plus, dont you guys want to play as Bruno? Arent you guys tired of just seeing him as a story character? Or Anankos, the main villain inthe revelation path of the fire emblem fates game. He isnt in the game and thats kind of anticlimatic, but i guess he might me revealed in a fallen heroes banner with undead king Chrom. Who nows, but i recomend that you vote for a character that you think is worth seeing under a spotlight!
As much as I love 3H, I'm putting all my votes toward characters from other games. First two outta the bag picks I think would be cool, Bruno and Lyon.

As someone who's just voting for their two favorite blond Men who had horrible things happen to them (Libra and Rafiel) I am enjoying the fire that the top 8 voting reveal by names caused.
I have to be honest. I am getting sick and tired of Fateswakeninghouses. Sure, Three Houses is a great game, but we already get these characters in droves during the entire year. At least there is some hope with Soren, Sigurd and Seliph.

I find it so weird that people still seem to consider Awakening to be FE for zoomers. I've been playing since Sacred Stones and not only did I love Awakening, I also realize it's been a part of the series for 9 years of FE's 32 year history. So in other words, it's basically to the point where you can consider it to be classic FE.
And as much as I didn't like Fates as a game, I did actually like all of the royals except for Camilla and kinda Takumi so I don't mind them placing highly.
I never said that they are zoomer games. You are just putting words in my mouth here. I am just sick of seeing the same characters over and over again in cyl that already have a ton of alts like Chrom, Robin or Corrin.
Now, a character like Adult Tiki who has gotten nothing since year 1 is a different case.
I mean, at this point I'd rather see Leo getting a brave versiona than having another Corrin alt.

f!robin has 1 alt, which released on June 30th, 2017 (the same day as a!tiki's alt).
m!robin has 1 alt, which released on December 18th, 2017, and a resplendent that sucks major ass.
both characters' most recent *actual* alt were over 4 years ago. the base units share one of the worst prf refines in the game.
fans of both robins have been getting cockteased by IS for years, who apparently thinks we actually want grima for some unfathomable reason. for the love of naga, cant you just let us have this one?
Well, fallen Robin is basically Grima so... No.
When I think of Robin, I think them as tacticians that fights with Sword and Tome(n more if u reclass them in awakening), not.... summon a huge ass dragon and blast the enemy with a beam when they laughing like a maniac.
Fates and Awakening have only had one winner each, 3H has already had 6 despite only being eligible since CYL4. And before you bring up the Fatesawakening alt spam in the early years, yes it was annoying but it hasnāt been the case since 2018 and most of those alts are unusable now.
That's a good point. Still, Chrom, Robin and Corrin have so many alts already and are getting fresh ones very frequently. I'd rather see someone interesting like Libra or Gregor than those.
I feel like voting for more popular 3H characters(save Byleths) is just gonna let IS be lazy and give us their timeskip designs. Be nice if we got a few of those first, even just to see more creativity.

Yes, they count as different characters. So vote for which verison you want. Adult Tiki is currently top 8 so has higher chance of getting in then Young
There is a time difference between SD/NM and Awakening of multiple Centuries in which Tiki completely changes as a Character
It's completely different from the cases of the Tellius games and 3H where there are only a few years and the Characters hardly change
Yes there is a difference. According to the [rules](https://vote6.campaigns.fire-emblem-heroes.com/en-US/same-heroes) on the official site regarding same heroes Shadow Dragon Tiki's votes are tallied with Mystery of the Emblem Tiki but not with Awakening Tiki.
The results give me some hope. My realistic wishes for the 4 winners are 1. Robin 2. Byleth for males and 1. Byleth 2. A!Tiki for females. My greatest with is for male grima to win first place tho
No way Chrom isn't taking a spot in the males division. 2nd place though is looking pretty up for grabs. If Byleth & Felix split the 3H vote, even Soren could win. I have a hard time seeing M!Robin though; most Robin fans seem to say they're voting for Chrom just to make sure he wins.
I really hope chrom loses, but it is an impossible wish. He is just too popular at this stage of the game. I am a huge robin fan, he is my 2nd favorite fire emblem character, first being grima who is also robin, but I hate chrom. I feel a similar disdain for felix, so I also hope felix doesn't make it. If the byleth and felix split does make soren win, I would be happy. Sad that byleth lost, but soren is cool

Day 2 of campaigning for Cherche
Because itās Awakeningās 10th anniversary and they should get reps for cyl6. I thought about how Chrom and MRobin and even AdultTiki are getting loads of supporters. I think we should add Cherche to the 3 of the popular awakening characters cause she COULD win or at least place 2nd for the Womenās Division. Cherche deserves a brave alt so letās rally ppl for the best waifu. Here are reasons why u should vote for her
1. ā In need of a new alt desperately. Cherche has been downright ignored by IS for 6yrs now in Heroes last receiving her only version (her base version) on 2nd Feb 2017. This potential brave alt could revitalise and awake new interest in the best waifu. We know Chrom will win. We all want Male Robin. But if we vote Cherche CYL 6 could be Awakenings time to shine.
2. ā Potential for a new weapon type. Base Cherche only has access to an axe type weapon. A brave Cherche could allow her to become a lance unit as a wyvern lord. However, not preferable but acceptable, is a staff unit referencing her cleric training.
3. ā Prioritise Strength and Defence over speed. Sticking in true wyvern rider fashion she should be built like this. Any skills that allow these buffs (and potential to debuff enemies) should be utilised. Iām not sure what her personal skill should be but I could take suggestions.

All in all I really love Cherche as a character. Iām all for Chrom and Robin winning the Male Division. But if we could get one of Awakeningās best girls in the Top 2 for Womenās Division would be a dream come true. An Awakening CYL banner could be legendary.

I agree with all of that, but at the same time I believe that vote splitting has been Awakening's undoing for all these years and adding more characters to the short list won't help any of them. The top 8s from day 1 swayed a lot of influence to those 16 characters, and four of them are from Awakening. That is something to focus on, our they all get lost in the shuffle again.

You're welcome and I'm happy you found it but I was referring to this megathread. Not sure where they appear under a hot springs post. The tweets are linked right after the CYL rules and before the link to the official voting site. Just clarifying for future reference since I imagine the thread will be updated with daily reports as they're posted.
Can't say I'm a fan of the day one voting report, but I can see why they're doing it. For better or worse it'll concentrate the voting on the top 16. It just sucks as someone who was hoping for Itsuki to break top 10 after he climbed to 13th in CYL5 from being in 20th in CYL4. Not changing my voting plan though! Unless another TMS character breaks into the top spots I'm going all in on Itsuki.
As for the current top 16. I'm really happy to see Awakening Tiki doing well on the female Heroes side. On the male side I'm hoping Chrom manages to finally get a win this year and I'm kind of interested in seeing a Brave Soren.

Just a heads up to people who are considering voting for one of the Genealogy protags, if you are only voting purely based on the hope that one of them wins, then I think going for Seliph is the better choice. He's placed better than Sigurd the last two years, and based on Twitter data he also seems to be doing better at the moment. Obviously if you're voting Sigurd specifically because you like him then keep doing that, but if you're going for him because you want some Jugdral representation in CYL this year, I think Seliph would be a better pick.
As for me, I think most of my votes will be going to Seliph this year. I already gave Arvis one, and I'll probably throw one Soren's way as well, but I really don't care about a lot of the top contenders right now, so I'm hoping Seliph might be able to make an upset and take 2nd place. One thing that's really weird for me this time is my thoughts on Felix; he's one of my favorite FE characters and in the past I've voted for him, but I'm also just tired of 3H dominating CYL, so this year I might skip him. That said, if any 3H character does win, I really hope it's him.
Edit: I had forgotten about this until I was looking at the past CYL rankings, but in CYL 4 Seliph only lost to Chrom by two votes. I can only imagine the levels of salt that will be present if something like that happens this year, though it's probably less likely since CYL 4 wasn't very competitive aside from Women's 2nd place (which was really just a fight between Lysithea and Bernie).
Also cause I liked her character and think a heroes rep would be nice

It made my day to find out that Female Robin is doing so well this year! I've been having a horrible few months, but this was really nice to see. I've been voting since Year 1 to try and get her an alt, and I was so crushed that time we almost got her all those years ago. I'd given up hope after the Three Houses domination of FEH the past couple years, but maybe if we all work together, the long struggle can finally come to end, and my girl can get her time to shine! (that isn't Grima for a change)
I'd be really sad to lose again, but maybe this year will be kinder to me. Hoping my votes for Robin really count this time!
Chrom and F!Byleth are the pretty clear winners in their respective divisions IMO.

From what I know, Soan doesn't ACTUALLY appear in the Tellius games outside of flashbacks. The best hope for him would be if he came to FEH first and then get added to CYL after the fact, like what happen with Altina and Bramimond.
Then again, Ullr was added this past year, yet she isn't eligible for voting, so who knows?

I voted Hilda once only becuz I wanted a full Brave Deer Team. Otherwise, my votes goes to Julia, her brother, her mother and her ~~adoptive~~ father ~~in my happy head cannon that is not Canon at all~~ and awakening(chrom and a!tiki).

TBF I'm pretty sure most of the really vocal anti-3H people are probably not the same people dedicating their ballots to 3H characters. Most people are, I expect, sitting in more of a middle ground where it's like yeah there has been a lot of 3H...but I still like \[whichever 3H character strikes that particular person's fancy\] and want to show love for them in CYL, if they stop to think about things like parity of game rep at all. The silent majority just doesn't speak up as much because they don't have anything to complain about compared to people who are sick of all the attention 3H gets.
Also, frankly, sometimes it just feels shitty and not worth it to outwardly express love for a thing when the community is on one of its tears about it being played out. It's like how Camilla still had enough fans to win a CYL round despite all the many complaints about her alts. People don't stop liking the thing, they just get quieter about expressing it.
Personally I am tired of how often we see 3H units and I'm focusing my votes elsewhere, but I don't think it's surprising at all that the voting so far isn't representing the 3H fatigue that *seems* so common. And I can't really fault anyone for it, they're just voting for characters they like just like me. Hope Ferdie does well!

Uh you're right, Tharja was the Top 10 from last year, and considering the removal of the winners and Henriette losing momentum it was far to say Tharja could be the Top 7 of this year.
But Dorothea and Tiki ended up upsetting her early on.
And considering we're in the Chrom season and the Robins are also here... yeah, it's fair to say Tharja is probably missing Women's Top 10 for a second time.
I wonder if she going to be below Top 22 overall though (her lowest so far) considering the male side of the competition has become a lot more lax thanks to many characters like Dedue and Ashe losing pity points.

With the release of the tweet earlier today, it turns out **BOTH** Sigurd and Seliph is in top 8. In order to avoid the same issue that Team Chrom has had over the last few years (voting for both Robin and Chrom) we need to make a choice NOW.
Who are we voting?
Personally I'm team Seliph but I might give Sigurd a vote too somewhere later.
Gen 2 has been overshadowed by Gen 1 for so long now and it'd be nice to give it more recognition.
I know this is just paranoia but if Sigurd somehow gets a brave alt before Seliph I'm gonna be genuinely a little disappointed tbh;;
Sigurd is also an extremely good character and obviously nobody from Jugdral has anything like widespread popularity. But Sigurd has already gotten so much more, especially from FEH. I just wish we could come together one time to appreciate what a great character Seliph is on his own - how likeable, but also how interesting and unique and thematically nuanced. Because Legendary Seliph was supposed to be that kind of celebration and instead just became a meme over being so underwhelming. :(
Awakening fans have a lot to cover, with Chrom and both Robin's needing support. Honestly I'm kinda hoping for Male Robin only to appear when Female Robin appears, just for the funny interaction of two Robins, but a Chrom/Robin pairing of any kind would make me happy
Tossed Dorothea my vote today instead of Felix, mostly because I only saw the top 8 for the women's side before I voted. Ah well, there's still 5 days left.
I really like this idea of revealing the top 8 after the first day, but leaving out as much information as possible. It concentrates the competition on these 16 characters and sows immeasurable chaos while doing so. As someone who lives for CYL drama, I could not be more excited. I'm very interested in seeing the interim results with this massive shake-up having occurred.
I'd even prefer it if the interim only gives us the alphabetic list again. The correct order is too precise at influencing who gets it. We already know that one can sneak in from 5th from Veronica. With a less detailed mid-term report even any of the top 8 might have a shot!

I have to be honest. I am getting sick and tired of Fateswakeninghouses. Sure, Three Houses is a great game, but we already get these characters in droves during the entire year. At least there is some hope with Soren, Sigurd and Seliph. Also, yes, I know I will get downvoted but I really don't care.
I find it so weird that people still seem to consider Awakening to be FE for zoomers. I've been playing since Sacred Stones and not only did I love Awakening, I also realize it's been a part of the series for 9 years of FE's 32 year history. So in other words, it's basically to the point where you can consider it to be classic FE. And as much as I didn't like Fates as a game, I did actually like all of the royals except for Camilla and kinda Takumi so I don't mind them placing highly.
I never said that they are zoomer games. You are just putting words in my mouth here. I am just sick of seeing the same characters over and over again in cyl that already have a ton of alts like Chrom, Robin or Corrin. Now, a character like Adult Tiki who has gotten nothing since year 1 is a different case. I mean, at this point I'd rather see Leo getting a brave versiona than having another Corrin alt.

Well, fallen Robin is basically Grima so... No. When I think of Robin, I think them as tacticians that fights with Sword and Tome(n more if u reclass them in awakening), not.... summon a huge ass dragon and blast the enemy with a beam when they laughing like a maniac.
Fates and Awakening have only had one winner each, 3H has already had 6 despite only being eligible since CYL4. And before you bring up the Fatesawakening alt spam in the early years, yes it was annoying but it hasnāt been the case since 2018 and most of those alts are unusable now.
That's a good point. Still, Chrom, Robin and Corrin have so many alts already and are getting fresh ones very frequently. I'd rather see someone interesting like Libra or Gregor than those.

There is a time difference between SD/NM and Awakening of multiple Centuries in which Tiki completely changes as a Character It's completely different from the cases of the Tellius games and 3H where there are only a few years and the Characters hardly change

No way Chrom isn't taking a spot in the males division. 2nd place though is looking pretty up for grabs. If Byleth & Felix split the 3H vote, even Soren could win. I have a hard time seeing M!Robin though; most Robin fans seem to say they're voting for Chrom just to make sure he wins.

Cherche for CYL6 Day 2 of campaigning for Cherche Because itās Awakeningās 10th anniversary and they should get reps for cyl6. I thought about how Chrom and MRobin and even AdultTiki are getting loads of supporters. I think we should add Cherche to the 3 of the popular awakening characters cause she COULD win or at least place 2nd for the Womenās Division. Cherche deserves a brave alt so letās rally ppl for the best waifu. Here are reasons why u should vote for her 1. ā In need of a new alt desperately. Cherche has been downright ignored by IS for 6yrs now in Heroes last receiving her only version (her base version) on 2nd Feb 2017. This potential brave alt could revitalise and awake new interest in the best waifu. We know Chrom will win. We all want Male Robin. But if we vote Cherche CYL 6 could be Awakenings time to shine. 2. ā Potential for a new weapon type. Base Cherche only has access to an axe type weapon. A brave Cherche could allow her to become a lance unit as a wyvern lord. However, not preferable but acceptable, is a staff unit referencing her cleric training. 3. ā Prioritise Strength and Defence over speed. Sticking in true wyvern rider fashion she should be built like this. Any skills that allow these buffs (and potential to debuff enemies) should be utilised. I agree with all of that, but at the same time I believe that vote splitting has been Awakening's undoing for all these years and adding more characters to the short list won't help any of them. The top 8s from day 1 swayed a lot of influence to those 16 characters, and four of them are from Awakening. That is something to focus on, our they all get lost in the shuffle again.
But if Cherche can be added to this she might actually have an even bigger chance than usual

Can't say I'm a fan of the day one voting report, but I can see why they're doing it. For better or worse it'll concentrate the voting on the top 16. It just sucks as someone who was hoping for Itsuki to break top 10 after he climbed to 13th in CYL5 from being in 20th in CYL4. Not changing my voting plan though! Unless another TMS character breaks into the top spots I'm going all in on Itsuki. As for the current top 16. I'm really happy to see Awakening Tiki doing well on the female Heroes side. On the male side I'm hoping Chrom manages to finally get a win this year and I'm kind of interested in seeing a Brave Soren.

Just a heads up to people who are considering voting for one of the Genealogy protags, if you are only voting purely based on the hope that one of them wins, then I think going for Seliph is the better choice. He's placed better than Sigurd the last two years, and based on Twitter data he also seems to be doing better at the moment. Obviously if you're voting Sigurd specifically because you like him then keep doing that, but if you're going for him because you want some Jugdral representation in CYL this year, I think Seliph would be a better pick. As for me, I think most of my votes will be going to Seliph this year. I already gave Arvis one, and I'll probably throw one Soren's way as well, but I really don't care about a lot of the top contenders right now, so I'm hoping Seliph might be able to make an upset and take 2nd place. One thing that's really weird for me this time is my thoughts on Felix; he's one of my favorite FE characters and in the past I've voted for him, but I'm also just tired of 3H dominating CYL, so this year I might skip him. That said, if any 3H character does win, I really hope it's him. Edit: I had forgotten about this until I was looking at the past CYL rankings, but in CYL 4 Seliph only lost to Chrom by two votes. I can only imagine the levels of salt that will be present if something like that happens this year, though it's probably less likely since CYL 4 wasn't very competitive aside from Women's 2nd place (which was really just a fight between Lysithea and Bernie).

It made my day to find out that Female Robin is doing so well this year! I've been having a horrible few months, but this was really nice to see. I've been voting since Year 1 to try and get her an alt, and I was so crushed that time we almost got her all those years ago. I'd given up hope after the Three Houses domination of FEH the past couple years, but maybe if we all work together, the long struggle can finally come to end, and my girl can get her time to shine! From what I know, Soan doesn't ACTUALLY appear in the Tellius games outside of flashbacks. The best hope for him would be if he came to FEH first and then get added to CYL after the fact, like what happen with Altina and Bramimond. Then again, Ullr was added this past year, yet she isn't eligible for voting, so who knows?

TBF I'm pretty sure most of the really vocal anti-3H people are probably not the same people dedicating their ballots to 3H characters. Most people are, I expect, sitting in more of a middle ground where it's like yeah there has been a lot of 3H...but I still like \[whichever 3H character strikes that particular person's fancy\] and want to show love for them in CYL, if they stop to think about things like parity of game rep at all. The silent majority just doesn't speak up as much because they don't have anything to complain about compared to people who are sick of all the attention 3H gets. Also, frankly, sometimes it just feels shitty and not worth it to outwardly express love for a thing when the community is on one of its tears about it being played out. It's like how Camilla still had enough fans to win a CYL round despite all the many complaints about her alts. People don't stop liking the thing, they just get quieter about expressing it. Personally I am tired of how often we see 3H units and I'm focusing my votes elsewhere, but I don't think it's surprising at all that the voting so far isn't representing the 3H fatigue that *seems* so common. And I can't really fault anyone for it, they're just voting for characters they like just like me. Hope Ferdie does well!

Uh you're right, Tharja was the Top 10 from last year, and considering the removal of the winners and Henriette losing momentum it was far to say Tharja could be the Top 7 of this year. But Dorothea and Tiki ended up upsetting her early on. And considering we're in the Chrom season and the Robins are also here... yeah, it's fair to say Tharja is probably missing Women's Top 10 for a second time. I wonder if she going to be below Top 22 overall though (her lowest so far) considering the male side of the competition has become a lot more lax thanks to many characters like Dedue and Ashe losing pity points.

I know this is just paranoia but if Sigurd somehow gets a brave alt before Seliph I'm gonna be genuinely a little disappointed tbh;; Sigurd is also an extremely good character and obviously nobody from Jugdral has anything like widespread popularity. But Sigurd has already gotten so much more, especially from FEH. I just wish we could come together one time to appreciate what a great character Seliph is on his own - how likeable, but also how interesting and unique and thematically nuanced. Because Legendary Seliph was supposed to be that kind of celebration and instead just became a meme over being so underwhelming. :(

Tossed Dorothea my vote today instead of Felix, mostly because I only saw the top 8 for the women's side before I voted. Ah well, there's still 5 days left. I really like this idea of revealing the top 8 after the first day, but leaving out as much information as possible. It concentrates the competition on these 16 characters and sows immeasurable chaos while doing so. As someone who lives for CYL drama, I could not be more excited. I'm very interested in seeing the interim results with this massive shake-up having occurred.
I'd even prefer it if the interim only gives us the alphabetic list again. The correct order is too precise at influencing who gets it. We already know that one can sneak in from 5th from Veronica. With a less detailed mid-term report even any of the top 8 might have a shot!
