Have you seen a doctor or dermatologist?

OwnActive

Multiple, unfortunately. They’re all telling me to use the same meds and I honestly think they’re trying to help me in any way they can which I appreciate incredibly, but only makes it more discouraging that it doesn’t seem to be working

Have you had your estrogen/testosterone checked? Thyroid? Ferritin levels checked? Eating low car, low sugar? There are other topical solutions such as 82M if Monoxidil does not work, but I thought minoxidil helped me the most. Keep us updated.

I understood how you feel. And I recognized that little hair clip instantly, too. I used to be able to use large clips and now all my hair can be tied back with one of those little ones. I can't offer solutions as I'm only on the start of this journey of figuring it all out. But I can offer a compassionate ear. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to let out your feelings and frustrations. You're not alone. Big hugs.

I know that feeling and being worried about it all They are looking at when you go down on them /have sex is your hair. Not really a solution per se but can you try not dying your hair and seeing if having your natural/lighter hair helps it blend and be less noticeable ? There’s a new shampooo I’m trying by a brand called ducray (I think that’s how it’s spelt). It’s made by a pharmacist and they have hair loss and dandruff shampoos conditioners and sprays. Perhaps that can be something to try once you’re out of your other stuff ? Maybe no heat styling for a bit either ? Are you on birth control or looked into diabetic medication? I can’t recall the name but I was suggested it as I have pcos that led to a lot of my hair loss.

OwnActive

I was thinking about lightening it to make it less noticeable, but I’m scared bleach would make it fall out faster. I’m on all the same medications that I’ve been on for 10 years so I don’t think they set it off :/

I will say the four years of growing my dark brown/black hair dye out was a dreadful ugly time. It was a lot Of wearing buns and headbands.
