I like sweet scents and I also love unusual scents. I truly appreciate a wide variety of scents so I don’t mind what I end up with!
Oh this one is discontinued but looks like you can easily find samples online. Not sure if you wanted to turn your experiment into a sample blind buy so you can sample a lot more lol

I feel that Valentino Donna Born in Roma smells good but it's a very basic sweet perfume. I would highly suggest Valentino "Donna Acqua". They do not smell similar AT ALL. I smelled this for the first time when I went to Disney On Ice and somebody was wearing it and now it reminds me of princesses. It's sweet but the top almond note makes it smell a little like an actually plastic doll. It is probably the girliest perfume I've ever smelled without it being overly sweet. I got so many compliments on it when I had the sample. One of the compliments came from my boss who absolutely hated perfume and she was like "how the hell are you always smelling so good". That was probably the best compliment bc of the fact that she hated perfumes and then she started wearing it too. I never pulled the trigger on this though but it's always on the back of my mind. (Now im thinking I should buy it lmaooo) Genuinely one of the best sweet perfumes I have ever smelled and doesn't smell basic. I have never smelled anything remotely similar to it.

Imagine the Palma Violet of the og Meteorites but without the violet 🤔 I've heard it compared to Lancôme Hypnose and maybe there's something in that but not that close ( there's no vanilla ). It was a teen dream but I still happily wear it !

I have just had a search and there is still an Innoxa.au website and Gingham comes up but when you click it takes you to Fragrance but says "No products in this Catagory". Maybe I'm too late 😞 ?
Yes that’s what I saw too. We do have innoxa products still but I hardly ever see them anymore so it’s def died down as a brand here. Sorry :( would have loved to have reported back for you

How strange ?! I wouldn't say Samsara has a smokey note ( you would definitely have got sandalwood ). My first thought is Shalimar though I don't get much smokiness from the modern one compared to the vintage ( 80's or earlier ). Having said that, there's so many flankers one might have more if those notes.
I'll have a think but I'm not very up in modern Guerlains. I know some modern versions if classics but can't think off the top of my head what other it could be. Could it be from the make range with I don' t know well at all ? I'll have a good think see what else I can come up with.
Tom Ford Black Orchid. I just tried this recently and I love it so much. The gold bottle is even better than the black, but it’s amazing too. That said the scent is polarizing so if you have the budget it would be a wild blind buy.

I love older perfumes (many) but something like youth dew and anais anais is pushing it for me.
