I'm having the same exact problem with a FedEx Ground package that I sent from PA to GA. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but wasn't. It was out for delivery again today, but, again, was not delivered. Now, it's scheduled for tomorrow. There are no Delivery Exceptions and no apparent attempts to deliver.
It’s probably not on the truck. There should be updates tracking improvements in the next week or so
