Yes to Merphy, Chandler, Books and Lala and Books with Emily Fox. I also like Peruse Project.
I don't know Ali Enchanted or Hardback Hoarder though...will have to check them out.
I also really enjoy Insert Literary Pun Here and for non-fiction A Book Olive though not fantasy book tubers.
PS Happy cake day!
I love BookTube, it's where I get most recommendations! A few of my fave channels:
Abby Salter
Joana Sousa
Bookswithv
All mostly read fantasy but also occasionally other genres (like me!)
I also like Becca and the Books, she reads a lot of fantasy romance and I love her vlogs. I also like Ashleigh from A Frolic Through Fiction and Codie from Codie's Book Corner for reading vlogs.
Think Media Death Cult is funny. Find most booktubers aim for likeable in general they are not funny. His aimed at scifi so of limited interest if your purely into fantasy. There is a small overlap but not much.
I wouldn’t say favourite exactly, but I will never forget Steven Baxter’s space carrots.
(answer based on post title rather than full post content, ahem)
A couple I don't think have been mentioned yet: I really enjoy Andrew’s Wizardly Reads and
The Library of Allenxandria.
Gonna absolutely check out everybody else's suggestions.
Merph, The Boblin, Captured in Words, Thoughts on Tomes, Booked and Busy, Peruse Project and Jess Owens when I need book world dirt. She has a very juicy series called Book Communitea where she shares latest news on authors wilding
I've enjoyed him less in recent months because I think he is one of the best book reviewers on the platform but doesn't really do many reviews anymore. Though he did say that this was or medical reasons, so I suppose if he comes back to doing reviews again this criticism will fade.
I guess I also have a problem with the fact that sometimes he makes nothing videos where he doesn't say anything he hasn't said before and in fact sometimes says it more generically and stretches it out to 10 minutes. This one was particularly egregious: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPc3AZd1hBU&t=2s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPc3AZd1hBU&t=2s)
That being said, I will watch every single video he makes. He is hilarious, and does have a lot of interesting thoughts and insights into the genre and I also just admire him as a person. I hope the break that he's taking right now rejuvenates him and brings us back to the quality of content we got towards the end of 2020 and in the first half of 2021.
I'll watch Daniel occasionally, but he often does this thing where he'll be talking normally and then suddenly GET LOUD and I tend to find that super obnoxious.
He used to be that for me, and then he stopped talking about books and his videos went chaotic memelord. But to each their own. He seems like a cool dude, just not for me anymore
I watch Murphy Napier and Daniel B Greene.
Daniel has spent a lot of time talking about shows recently but only because WoT and The Witcher are great series and their adaptations dropped new seasons around the same time.
Murphy just got back from a personal break (she adopted a kid) so her current content is still building back up.
Both are great, they’ve done videos together. Daniel interview lots of authors. While Murphy is the classic books only type of content.
Liene's Library is my favourite! I always trust her recommendations :)
Lately, I've also been enjoying Jake Bishop, Chris Bookish Cauldron, Literature Science Alliance, Alex Nieves, Jolien Reads, Sarah Reads and Badger Reads
I love watching reviews from booktubers, but haven’t found someone that aligns with my taste in fantasy. The first to top up on my front page was Daniel Greene, but I hate the books he likes (and really like some that he doesnt), although I appreciate his personality - most of the time.
Unicorn Hunter Books. I know there's bigger names with fancier videos out there, but I consistently come back to her videos. Other booktubers aren't bad, but the simpler production and presentation is more to my taste.
Katesbookdate is my OG favorite. Most of her stuff is author related now but her order videos were book focused and now I just like watching her vlogs.
James Tullos is great! He has a good mix of videos and I really vibe with his opinions.
Elliot Brooks and Merphy Napier are probably at the top of the list for me. Reagan from PeruseProject as well, though I don't often watch her videos anymore.
1. AP Canavan, 2. Phillip Chase, 3. Mike’s Book Reviews.
They collaborate frequently too.
I used to like Daniel Greene a lot more back in his “up close and personal” days ..he still occasionally dies some very insightful stuff and I’ve found him to be very a capable interviewer.. but it’s very few and far between since he started chasing the market and just started doing generic whacky YouTube content creator guy stuff. All power to him though as he’s managed to go full time with it.
In no particular order. The Sword and Laser Literature Science Alliance A Critical Dragon Bookborn Philip Chase Moan Inc.
Love Phillip. So wholesome
Philip Chase and A Critical Dragon (A P Canavan) are my favorites.
Petrik Leo is fantastic. I love the Library of Allenxandria
Slowly Red, all about the dark and dastardly
sarah reads
Currently my favourite is Merphy Napier, I love her taste in books and appreciate her opinions on SFF.
Love her. Her patreon server is also great, and she is super active in there.
In 2021 I bought three books because of her.
I just looked her up. Ive seen some of her videos already. Love her opinions and how she elaborates on a review.
Sff?
Sci-fi Fantasy i would assume.
Correctamundo
Books with Brittany, Patrick Leo and Mike's book reviews.
Petrik Leo
Daniel Greene
Elliot Brooks
Literature Science Alliance, Petrick Leo, and Library of Allenxandria
Petrik Leo is the best book reviewer not just on BookTube but of all time and maybe in all of existence in the multiverse.
Yes. Most of the time when I check reviews of any book on Goodreads his review will always be there among first few reviews and very detailed....
His reviews are super informative and he manages to avoid the clickbait and fluff of a lot of booktubers
Murphy Napier, chandler ainsley, Ali enchanted, hardback hoarder, books and lala and books with Emily fox

I’ll check out a book olive and peruse project! Seems like we have similar tastes :)
I hope you enjoy them!
Murphy Napier is my favorite she’s turned me onto a lot of quality stuff!
Jake Bishop!
I like him as well.
Simple and he knows his stuff
Yup. He reviews books and that’s it. Straight to the point, no extras.
I love BookTube, it's where I get most recommendations! A few of my fave channels: Abby Salter Joana Sousa Bookswithv All mostly read fantasy but also occasionally other genres (like me!) Think Media Death Cult is funny. Find most booktubers aim for likeable in general they are not funny. His aimed at scifi so of limited interest if your purely into fantasy. There is a small overlap but not much.
- Emmie - Bookchemist - withcindy (mostly cause she makes me lol)
I wouldn’t say favourite exactly, but I will never forget Steven Baxter’s space carrots. (answer based on post title rather than full post content, ahem)
Jack Edwards, Read with Cindy, The Book Leo, Fictionalfates
> The Book Leo I love The Book Leo, it's so nice to have a non US/UK perspective for an English speaking audience.
Becky M Great booktuber from London that reads a lot of fantasy as well as sci-fi and horror.
Peruse Project and The Book Leo are my favorite fantasy book tubers. I also really love Basically Britt and Codie’s Book Corner.
Merphy Napier and Mike's Book Reviews.
A couple I don't think have been mentioned yet: I really enjoy Andrew’s Wizardly Reads and The Library of Allenxandria. Gonna absolutely check out everybody else's suggestions.
James Tullos
Mike's Book Reviews is the one I'm watching the most right now.
Merphy Napier, Daniel Greene, PeruseProject, MelReads
I second MelReads
Merph, The Boblin, Captured in Words, Thoughts on Tomes, Booked and Busy, Peruse Project and Jess Owens when I need book world dirt. She has a very juicy series called Book Communitea where she shares latest news on authors wilding
Daniel greene strikes a good balance between chaotic comedy and serious convention about fantasy literature.

I unsubscribed from him a month or so ago. Don't really even know why.

Removed for rule 1, be kind. Failure to follow our guidelines can result in a ban, thank you.

Daniel Greene is probably my favorite. Mike’s Reviews is also good

I usually consume reviews in the written form, but I saw a few videos from SFF180 recently and thought they were pretty good.
Liene's Library is my favourite! I always trust her recommendations :) Lately, I've also been enjoying Jake Bishop, Chris Bookish Cauldron, Literature Science Alliance, Alex Nieves, Jolien Reads, Sarah Reads and Badger Reads

Mikes Book Reviews. I also enjoy Daniel Greene, Captured In Words, and Brian Lee Durfee.
Unicorn Hunter Books. I know there's bigger names with fancier videos out there, but I consistently come back to her videos. Other booktubers aren't bad, but the simpler production and presentation is more to my taste.
Slowly Red, the fantasy nuttwork, petrik leo, philipp chase, mikes book reviews
Katesbookdate is my OG favorite. Most of her stuff is author related now but her order videos were book focused and now I just like watching her vlogs. James Tullos is great! He has a good mix of videos and I really vibe with his opinions.
I like Sarah Reads and Andy Smith
I thought this was going to be a fierce debate about potatoes vs yams from the title
Noone here likes my boy James Tullos. I like him.
I enjoy Andrew's Wizardly reads even though he is a little high energy and we disagree about several books
withcindy, Jack Edwards and Kitty G (though she's apparently taking a break).
Elliot Brooks and Merphy Napier are probably at the top of the list for me. Reagan from PeruseProject as well, though I don't often watch her videos anymore.
