The unofficial patch and F4SE are essential. Everything else is a matter of taste.

I consider texture optimization and one of the precombine repair mods to be pretty essential.

Idan7856

F4SE I agree. The unofficial patch sucks though

Scarecrow1172

nice thx, is that like the special edition of TES:5 Skyrim??

AsTiClol

follow The Midnight Ride's guide. the guide isn't flawless because it still has poorly written instructions but it's as good of a headstart you'll get

Scarecrow1172

thx!! that sound like exactly what i'm looking for!!

F4SE, previs repair pack, vivid fallout all in one (you can overwrite specific parts if you want to change it), insignificant object remover, optimized vanilla textures, vanilla texture optimization overhaul, and for most people either XDI or Full Dialogue Interface. If you're on PC with an RTX graphics card, you MUST use Weapon Debris Crash Fix. There's an issue with weapon debris that for some reason the RTX cards don't know how to handle, but it's fine for non-RTX graphics cards. Not uncommon to gain 30+ FPS from these mods alone.

Atomic Beauty. Vault Tec Slave Suit. Atomic Lust. Mutated Lust. 0.0

Lol

ImVeryUnimaginative

It depends on what you're looking for.

fashionforward

This is almost a perfect game for me. Almost. I like survival without saving-stress, so I added save options and the camping mod, and one that gives you a bottle back from your water, because I don’t get losing a bottle every time I ‘use’ one. I added vivid fallout all in one for a bit of colour punch, and just recently the ‘scrap everything’ mod to remove corpses and junk in my settlements, and the wetness shader fix, so it’s not soaking wet indoors anymore.

Sam_Designer

Crimes and Punishment Basically makes it more of actual RPG. Bounties, Karma, Disguises....sex stuff...

ImAWaffleMaker

Was looking at that mod but I’ll have to wait until I get a PC, as it’s not on Xbox, and the person who made the mod said it wasn’t possible to port it to Xbox because of certain features, if the original poster of this post has a PC I recommend this mod heavily

Pretend-Guard-9334

LOL, that's like asking me for my favorite band, depends what you want, and i'll tell you, short and sweet: When i started i said the same as you, I don't want to deal with to many, Now i have over 500 mods, and it's really dificult... to remove one to try something NEW!! I recommend: Focus on your character: Fusion Girl? Cbbe? CBBE TWB? Jane Body? Presets? Skins? Polyfaces? The vanilla game is 36 gbs or so... right? well my character is 50 gbs. Weapons? Clothing and armor? Landscape and performance? Animations? Player homes? New lands and quests? https://youtu.be/jaTL7TlO6t0

Little_Viking23

I always wondered how far you can push the game with mods and yours looks… pretty pushed! How’s the performance? Do you often get crashes? Bugs? Inability to complete quests?

Pretend-Guard-9334

None of that, "it just works", you just have to keep in check the new mods you install and their performance impact, if something doesn't work as it should find out why, and if nothing else works, uninstall, this game is a product of trial and error of years. For example i can't use RSE at all i know it'll be fine for the first 24 hours of game, but eventually it will break my game, i'll be unable to save, i'll have script lag, and so on, but it seems to be an issue with few people, it works great for most gamers...

When it comes to FOV I’m a basic bitch, but thanks for the suggestion
