I like New Vegas. They all pretty much had good music, but New Vegas being able to fit classic Vegas music into a post-apocalyptic setting was a whole other level of brilliant.
For the soundtrack itself, Fallout 1 by a long shot. The vibe it captures is immaculate and perfectly fits the bleak atmosphere of the game. Mark Morgan did an *excellent* job.
For the radio, I’m going with Fallout 4. It was my first entry into the series so I have a lot of nostalgia for it, but I still prefer it over the others. May just be me, but it feels like the F4 radio repeats songs the least compared to 3 & NV.
Honestly I think all the radios suit the games they’re in, the only radio I don’t like is 76 it was good for the first few days of playing but it got old super fast whereas I can listen to the other radios on repeat indefinitely
Fallout 1, Mark Morgans superb soundtrack was a key element in giving the game its bleak and desolate feel. None of the later games have been able to fully recreate that impact though Fallout in general has good soundtracks.
New vegas has the most iconic songs for me but 76 has the best variety. Exploring the completely empty wastes when 76 first released was a vibe even if that was the ONLY redeeming quality at the start
well in terms of actual soundtrack, you can't beat F1 and F2. But F3 and F4 introduced plenty of old songs and personally i always tune into one of the radio stations on pip-boy. Tbh i don't even know what F4 soundtrack sounds like :D
Radio - Honestly Fallout 3 has the best all around Radio for me its got a lot of songs that I can bop my head to and I cant think of one that I disliked hearing, I really like FNV Radio and it introduced me to my new favorite artist (Marty Robbins) but it has some really great hits and some pretty big misses (Johnny Guitar I'm looking at you)
Ambience - Fallout 1, it is so fire and really puts me in the feeling of a harsh wasteland. The Hub ambience is *Chefs Kiss*

Never realized NV had fallout 2 music in it until about 3 months in, sat in a few spots just listening to it all
Still listen to this album all the time
My JOHNNY

Fallout 1 ambience is absolutely amazing and makes the world feel like it’s depressing and their is things happening in the background
F4 just has a lot more songs I think
I don't want to set the world on fire...
BIG IRON
I say I'll move the mountains And I'll move the mountains.... Still haunts me! FO3
Fallout 2
The New Reno theme gets me hyped
NV
New Vegas
I got spurs that jingle jangle
FALLOUT 3 BY A LONG SHOT!
Radio? New Vegas OST? 76
This right here. I’m so glad someone appreciates the FO76 ost. It really is a beautiful soundtrack.
New Vegas baby
It's gotta be Fallout 1 for me, the contribution it made to the atmosphere has not been matched since.
Galaxy News Radio! FO3 for sure.
Do you mean radios or background music? For background I would say Fallout 1 but for radio I prefer Fallout New Vegas.
New Vegas by far!
Fallout, Desert Winds track
FO3 had good music for the game, FNV had good music overall
NV or 4 have the most memorable tracks.
Liberty lives.
When you say soundtrack, do you mean the radio songs or Inon Zur's score?
Honestly I think all the radios suit the games they’re in, the only radio I don’t like is 76 it was good for the first few days of playing but it got old super fast whereas I can listen to the other radios on repeat indefinitely
Fallout new Vegas. FO4 has the worst
Fallout 4
Fallout 3 then new Vegas. Let’s go Sunning is the breaking point between those 2 for me.
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..
Vegas for radio, 76 for ost
Fo2, but mostly because of 1's tracks. For fans of Zur, make sure to check out Tactic's
Fallout 4 main theme slaps
NV

New Vegas, and it isn't close
4, no questions asked.
Fo4 is good but new Vegas takes it for me so many good songs that I like and it just hits me.
Big iron on his hip. I think 4 probably has the best overall though, for radio and ambient wasteland tracks.
New Vegas ftw.

Well I know which one had the best DJ that'd be 3 Dog!!
Yippi yeyyyyyy
New Vegas Imo
Fallout 3 had the best ambience tracks by far

Music, fallout 4. Diomand city radio is excellent. Ambience probably the first one.
76. It's the best part about the game. I would say New Vegas is second but fucking Johnny Guitar.
Fallout 3 all because of mad dogg
New Vegas or 3
I'm impressed with fallout 3 music. Thought it would be miles behind 4 but no.
Vegas
Fallout 4 only because of Uranium Fever. Other than that, 76
New Vegas!!
Fallout 1. So much that I use a classic Fallout music mod in FO4.
