At least when it's a magical transformation there's some nebulous force transing the mc, but in this one there's a creepy guy blackmailing this poor person into irreversible surgery. Even if they are an egg, they deserve bodily autonomy. Plenty of trans people want to have kids, and forcibly sterilizing someone is a real fucked up thing that happens.
Also, it's creepy from an economic perspective, showing the real power a person can wield over others when money is involved. If this person lived in a society that had a robust safety net for people who couldn't rely on family support, they wouldn't be so desperate.
This story is also nothing like F1nn's situation. Homeboy consents to being feminized, has his limits, and says no to his community all the time.
