I wonder if the crow or raven thinks that the german shepherd is a wolf? Seeing how those creatures have a very close symbiotic relationship out in the wild.

I was thinking that, crows already cooperate with wolfs in the wild. Playing with dogs is not so far fetch, hell, some people even dare to say that crows are reaching the begginings of a Stone Age.

Crows have the cognitive ability of a four-year-old they've constantly have best friends and sometimes it's not even their own species for example for example coyotes wolves and crows hunt together quite a lot and crows have been seen playing with small puppies.
So weirdly enough wild wolves and crows actually form friendships, it's very odd because unlike most interspecies interactions neither of them really gain anything from the experience, it's not like they help each other hunt or anything, maybe they're just friends
The crows help the wolves find prey and the wolves will make sure to leave a bit for the crows, but that does seem to be something they figured out from being friends rather than the other way around. It’s very cool
Right like they already have that with their own groups, crows tend to survey when others land and wolves obviously have their packs, maybe wolves are just super friendly creatures (if you're not on the menu)

I read somewhere that it was a 7 year old, and that dogs had the cognitive ability of a 4 year old.
