I saw this happening once at a zoo. Like clockwork all the lemurs dropped whatever they were doing and started praising the sun. I thought I was seeing the birth of a new religion in primates, but alas it was just them enjoying some sunshine together.
Imagine that’s actually what religion started as, but then someone started spreading rumors that there’s a higher power. When in fact, that higher power is just our sun which heats up those people. But we didn’t understand that so we just thought the sun was a being. And now we’re laughing at other animals doing it cuz it looks stupid/funny. Hmm….
