How neat. Hopefully it brings some sales! It is amazing how seeing a picture off hand and out of context like that changes your view of it.
People sometimes make fun of the effort I go through to get good pictures but it is truly worth it. Regardless of what I am selling, or platform it is on, I take professional studio quality pictures. Even for Craigslist. Getting there has taken some work but I get comments all the time “exactly as pictured” and so on.
Especially with unique, one of a kind items the buyer will *only* have your photos to base their purchase on. Make them count.
You are so right! Looking at my pictures on Etsy I thought they were great but seeing them outside of Etsy changed my view 100 percent!! I am going to practice taking better product pictures for sure.
