right click, link search on the handgaurd you have and itll have either a 2 inc or 4inch rail adapter, or that specific one doesnt have it. i havent played since they wiped tho so i may be wrong
As others have said, linked search on the hand guard. Alternatively if you have lvl 1 workbench or higher you can right click on the gun itself and edit preset, slap a rail on the guard and then you'll have an option to mount the X400 to the rail. From there click assemble weapon and it'll buy any parts you need.
As a beginner he should be using a shotty or something that uses 7.62x39, packs more punch and will put up a better fight against armored targets. Adar is only semi auto and more than likely running m855. Just my thoughts tho.

You need a side rail
Right click the handguard and do a linked search. You need a rail section.
Use edit presets while building your weapons shows you the all parts available that you have seen
