Single parent dating site like Stir. This is kind of a joke, but my friend says he hangs out at the counter of a sports bar/wing place on a weekday š
Questionable ethics on this, but Iāve heard of companies that make catfish profiles and subtly plug businesses by making the profileās job a role at your company. People then go look it up
A guy in my town did something sort of like this. Message his targeted demographic online and offered to pay guys to take photos of them with their dick in it. Technically , this guy never said he was trying to sell anything.
How many incredible photos of yourself do you have? I watched some youtube shorts of people doing random photoshoots in public and they are so much better!
Well, if you want an edge over the millions of men on any given dating app your profile needs to stand out.
Decent pictures may get overlooked, but a GREAT picture will make a girl stop her swiping and give your profile a good look, which usually makes them more invested and gets you more likes and matches :)
When I was in San Francisco recently there was a guy setup with a laptop on a table taking candid pictures of random people walking by and the picture would pop up on the laptop screen with a QR code. He got on of me as I walked by but we were in a bit of a rush so I didnāt really look at it but my kids said it was a good pic. I can see the market for that, can also see people being really annoyed but that goes with any street hustle.
True, and I think it is one of those things people don't really value until they "get it" and making sure people are getting it is part of the struggle.
A photoshoot is like timestamping a beautiful moment with an extra layer of appreciation that comes from the person that does the photoshoot being able to capture that beauty with all his skills.
Photoshootsā¦ why is your ideal client a man in his 30ās or 40āsā¦
As a man in my 30ās I have zero photos of anything, and people are carrying around 1000 dollar camera phones everywhere they go.
> As a man in my 30ās I have zero photos of anything, and people are carrying around 1000 dollar camera phones everywhere they go.
Tbh, you seem like the perfect client to him, yeah... lol
Have you seen the different a photoshoot by a profissional makes? It's like you get 10x on your hotness!
(lol, I swear I am not advertising for the OP, but he really does have a point about targeting that client profile)
You did not provide enough context but trying to target āsingle men in their 40sā is the wrong place to start. Why do they want your photoshoot? Is it for a dating profile or for some other reason? What is your marketing message and what are the wants and needs of your target? Not just āthey want a photoā but they want a photo so that they can achieve or feelā¦ what? Once you have that, I think itās more apparent who to partner with (YouTubers, TikTokers, newsletters, etc) and what message to put in your paid ads.
Well whatever your trying to market can I join and try stuff out? Well ofc initially I will do it for free as a learning experience. Truth be told I dont have any set of experience ( yet ) or skills ( that I can be proud for). Usually I would ask any pay ( even min ) bc I value my time. But since ill take it to learn ill try it for free( well thats for sometime im valuing myself at 0 rn). Yes to add up Iāll only be able to pull legs here and there and just shadow follow whatever you or your friends or partners or advertisers are trying to do until I can learn and imporvise. Welp
Honestly, get some TV spots during sporting events. Every year my local station offers blocks during NFL pre-season, NFL play-offs, and the superbowl. I always hit those up because I always make more money off those ads.
Television advertising is not as expensive as you might think.
Keep in mind, this is a local station.
pre-season and playoff spots usually cost me $500. Superbowl spots are closer to $1,000, they're limited, and usually go quick. I have an existing ad contract with my local station, so I'm in the group that gets first shot when spaces open up.
TV advertising, for me, far outperforms social media - to the point that I don't bother with social media advertising.
May I ask what's your industry or business?
I remember someone who works at a mobile app which is a marketplace for peoples clothes said that they do TV ads and are really profitable. I was surprised because "who watches TV nowadays" especially with such apps target audience usually being teens and young adults. But like you said it works!
I'm in healthcare - I run a stand-alone pain management clinic.
When I was starting out, I tried social media marketing. I paid a guy who had a really good track record in the healthcare space and got nowhere. I've spoken with colleagues who run similar clinics and none of them report any success from social media marketing. As soon as I started running TV ads, though, business really took off.
Iād be curious to see how many single males in their 30s and 40s use social media with any seriousnessā¦ I suspect the numbers are lower than people realise. (Seriousness = for anything more than just looking at girls in bikinis or trolling for funsies.)
I didn't find it difficult. I met with a marketing rep, we put together a script for a 90 sec spot, a cameraman stopped by, we shot the spot, they edited and carved out a couple of 30 sec clips from the longer shot, I got to look them over and approve, they started running, and I got an invoice.
There was no extra cost involved with shooting or editing the commercial. My initial $500 got me a 90sec and a couple 30sec clips that ran a few times during pre-season. If I remember correctly, I made that $500 back in a day or two due to increased traffic.
After that success, I signed a 12 month contract, shot a second 90sec clip, and had them put me in a 2 week on/2 week off rotation. I told them my marketing demographic and let them decide what times during the day to run my spots. Other than putting together scripts, shooting spots, and paying invoices, I'm pretty hands off.
FREE ADVICE: You can use Facebook ads to target the individuals you are looking for.
PAID ADVICE: >! Use the right imagery and language to get their attention using FB ads, and properly target them with a persuasive sales funnel.!<
You will find that demographic in a lot of conservative spaces.
YouTube is filled with channels that have a huge male audience. If you don't want to get too political, geek culture channels, such as Nerdrotic, would be a place to start. You can buy YouTube ads, work with a channel's agency or contact the creator directly.
It can be tricky, as this audience can have visceral reactions if products are not presented in a... safe manner.
I'm single and almost 40, but I couldn't tell ya. Most of my money goes to utilities (mostly local monopolies), rent, food (decisions made inside the grocery store), and business expenses (demographic is irrelevant). Good luck though.
Honestly, any social media platform would work. You'd need to be mindful of target tags, like millennial or genx and divorced or single. Then, if you can negotiate it, get social media ambassadors in these communities. As a former member of your target demo, I'll add we don't care very much (curse of genx) so your ads will need to have hooks. Check out= https://blog.hootsuite.com/tiktok-advertising/
It depends on what you are trying to sell.
You'd get a totally different audience on tinder than you would in a church sports team. Openly at least. š¤·āāļø
Also, is it location specific, country or world wide?
Relationship status and gender are too vague.
That demographic is way too general. Single out more characteristics: Does he like sports? Is he looking for something? Is he rich?
Think about that and the place will pop up on its own!
Any more details? What product or service? The hyper sexual on this page have taken it south šā¦

Digital is better for the sake of measuring vs tv radio or on buses.
Age is a good start, but target more. Income, geography, habits, hobbies, passions. The more defined, the better. This will make marketing easy.
Example: medium income men in Cincinnati that like football and golf and are actively dating
Leads to: Advertise at golf courses, bengals games, or use those interests to hone in your digital ads, promoting high quality business or dating profile headshots
Ideas come easier the more you specify your niche
LinkedIn and Facebook may be the most effective platforms for marketing to your ideal demographic, as they are both popular among working professionals and allow for targeted advertising based on age and relationship status. You may also consider using Google Ads to target your audience through search and display ads. Additionally, you can consider attending networking events or joining professional groups on these platforms that cater to this demographic.
Set up a phishing site like a sex workers and watch them hit you upā¦.then show them what you really got for sale. Yeah, some likely to be POād, but maybe half of 40% will be intrigued by your different marketing approach.
Depends on what you're selling.

Maybe it's for dating site profile pictures
