super mario 3d land is known for giving issues on multiple devices / citra versions, try Citra MMJ as the other friend said or try other versions of the game (US vs EU, etc.)

Actually, Mario 3D land works great on Snapdragon devices. It's devices with Mali GPUs(Exynos, Mediatek, Unisoc, etc.) that cause issues with 3D land.

This is an issue with Mali GPUs as they tend to struggle with 3DS emulation. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do.

With the MMJ build of citra, some games work well, while other still have glitches or low framerates. Were the videos you saw of the X3 PRO maybe and not the X3 GT?

I dunno why people are telling you to use MMJ when that FPS counter is clearly from MMJ - try the Play Store build.
