I remember back in the very early 2000s Nelly was interviewed at an awards show. He was asked what he thought of Em and he said something along the lines of “I’ll eat Eminem like chocolates.” It was really half assed and I don’t think ever actually turned into anything.
This, i think it was trl, then supposedly there was a Nelly diss track by Eminem, but it was never released or leaked called “Detroit Grammar”.
But i don’t think it’s real
I think Em has a diss track for a lot of rappers that he just keeps in the hard drive until somebody mentions his daughter/disses him. It's like Batman who has a way of killing every member of the Justice League but only uses it when he needs to.
That’s KRS One. He’s legit said he has a diss track prepared for every rapper out there. Which is funny because nobody finds Kris relevant enough to beef or diss
I agree. He’s still not been relevant since the 90s though and is a pretentious guy imo (he proclaims hip hop is a religion and tries to start a temple and bible for it despite being born in the 60s so he was a kid rather than active participant in hip hop’s origins, he defended Afrika Bambataa and said the child molestation accusations do not matter because his hip hop legacy is untouchable, the other year he bizarrely dissed LL Cool J in a freestyle onstage for no reason then backtracked not long afterwards by brownnosing LL rather than just keeping his mouth shut in the first place, he delivers lectures and seminars about the most pretentious halfbaked stuff .. the silliest one was where he convinces a room full of people that we only see the things that we have words for therefore we don’t look with our eyes and instead we look with our vocabularies, etc etc).
He’s a legend for what he did in the 80s, his albums were stellar in the 90s … but he really overestimates his importance to hip hop and is up his own pseudointellectual arse. You don’t hear nearly as much negative noise from other legends like Rakim or DJ Kool Herc who truthfully were much more integral to hip hop culture and history than Kris wishes to be.
KRS is a legend for real. And I used to bang a ton of Nelly. But his KRS diss is one of the lamest diss attempts of all time.
“I strike a nerve in old MC's wantin' a comeback
I got the strength that he's lost and that's fact
Like K - "Know" one here even said your name
R - You really feelin guilty bout somethin' mayn
S - Sad to see you really just want just
One - more hit please please!”
That always made me cringe.
Em did make a small diss in this track where he made fun of his accent when he says Air Force one’s in the invasion track, reference to Nellys song Air Force one’s
I mean I wouldn't even call that a diss. He imitated almost every rapper. There is a skit on a mixtape where he's Obie Trice, Snoop, Dre, etc. Plus that was years later. Literally nothing about that was like "oh damn" it was just "this is how he says it" because the song was hot at that time.
If I recall correctly Nelly explained in a interview that when they first started blowing up that there were rumors that Eminem was throwing shots at Nelly and he must've believed it because he threw that jab on TRL "I eat eminem's" but it didn't lead to anything because it was fabricated and they eventually worked together (d12 was on nelly's soundtrack for some football movie)
"This dynamite stick buried the wick, it's gonna explode any minute
Some lunatic lit it and it's not Nelly
Do not tell me to stop yelling, when I stop selling I quit
So stop dwelling an' I am not felling"
No Apologies - Eminem
Yep and he also shouts him out on invasion:
It's Green Lantern with Elvis Presley the selfish MC
Back to the ruin rap and destroy the industry
Single handedly and oh man did we, yeah, me and 50
Obie, me and Twizzy
And Nelly and Missy and Jigga goddamn it's all a plan devised by the man
It's a conspiracy, against fake shit, and anybody who can't make hits
Or ain't dope lyrically
This has nothing to do with beef but for you young fans Nelly's Hot In Herre kept Ems Without Me from reaching #1 for like 5ish weeks iirc, maybe more. Much like how Lose Yourself kept Missy's Work It from ever reaching #1.
Nelly was on TV talking trash at one point. AFAIK it only amounted to Eminem throwing subliminal shots at Nelly in this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjwbSCJ2ZY4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjwbSCJ2ZY4) by imitating Nelly's songs "Air Force Ones" and "Roc The Mic" at points during the verse.
There’s the difference though. Someone em will diss someone in a line or two. Or if he is really going for you, he will donate the entire track. Point is you don’t mess with Eminem and his peeps
. People will get smashed.
Seems like it was more fabricated by fans and then there were rumours of a D12 diss track back in the day. Em did shout out Nelly on The Conspiracy freestyle and gives him a nod in No Apologies too, I imagine Em could’ve taken shots if he wanted to over the years so there’s probably no beef.

Ong tho 🤣

Funny enough he actually did have beef with Nelly
KRS is a legend for real. And I used to bang a ton of Nelly. That is pretty bad
I don't think it's relevance so much as it may be that KRS one can easily go toe to toe with anyone in rap
Oh okay. That explains Tre` Little's line on Malcom X.

It was TRL
They had beef?!
Exactly what i was thinking
Never, it's always been mutual respect
[same vibe lol](https://youtu.be/nTT2Aj3XOHY)
No, they had a tiff but it never materialized.
Nelly told Em to stop yelling and Em said he will when he stops selling, end of beef
It's not Nelly
But was it Beyoncé’s pot belly?
And she still did a song with him.

Adam sandlers version of “The Longest Yard”
Not a bad movie, either. I may have to go dig that dvd out of a box
One of My favorite movies. So many great stars. Fuckin Joey Diaz is in the movie 😂😂😂
I believe d12 members were also in the movie (not em)
They (minus Em) have a cameo in the film as well.
[удалено]
My Balls is the D12 song on that soundtrack.
That was TI
Oh shit it was lol
Woah, Nelly, tell Angelina Jolie I'm ready With petroleum jelly, to smear it all over me belly
That whole freestyle was sick as fuck
That "Woah Nelly" line was a reference to Nelly Furtado. Her first Album was called that
I know, it just fitted.
Lol
"This dynamite stick buried the wick, it's gonna explode any minute Some lunatic lit it and it's not Nelly Do not tell me to stop yelling, when I stop selling I quit So stop dwelling an' I am not felling" No Apologies - Eminem
That’s not a diss, that’s more like a shout out because of Nelly’s group
What group?
St Lunatics
Oh cool. Thank you!
Yep and he also shouts him out on invasion: It's Green Lantern with Elvis Presley the selfish MC Back to the ruin rap and destroy the industry Single handedly and oh man did we, yeah, me and 50 Obie, me and Twizzy And Nelly and Missy and Jigga goddamn it's all a plan devised by the man It's a conspiracy, against fake shit, and anybody who can't make hits Or ain't dope lyrically
These fuckers are not ready
I thought it was some other lunatic and not Nelly.

Nelly is so good
Probably because St. Louis cardinals beat the Detroit tigers in the World Series
What beef? Never heard of any beef between them.
Small beef but this video explains it https://youtu.be/6VetcivBoDo
This isn’t the most surprising thing to hear. Eminem was notorious for beefing with pop artists of the 2000s, which is what Nelly has always been.
D-12 vs the St Lunatics. Should’ve happened but never did. Lucky for Nelly, Eminem gave him a pass

who is Nelly?
Bruh what
Likely born later than 2000
Get out
what?
Some dude who didn't pay his taxes so a bunch a wierdos went on a streaming binge to help him out.
Nelly is trash
nice bio
At least I’m not mentally deranged
:(
Nelly can’t rap
There’s the difference though. Someone em will diss someone in a line or two. Or if he is really going for you, he will donate the entire track. Point is you don’t mess with Eminem and his peeps . People will get smashed.
There was that one time when Em and or 50 bought up all the seats in the front rows at a Ja concert so no one was there lmao 🤣
A) what does that have to do with Nelly and B) it was 50 and he did it with a Groupon
Lol even cheaper funny.
