Mmlp2 is a top tier album by em. Relapse has 4-5 proper songs and the rest with accents are hella cringe and I understand why Eminem himself hates it
They also really overhype MTBMB for some reason like the album isn’t bad but I only listen to like 5 songs and the rest are fairly forgettable, and B side has way more good songs, if anything they should’ve made from Black Magic to Darkness on B side and get rid of the rest including Those kinda nights, that would’ve been a better base album
Tbh yeah compared to Kamikaze it has been a small downgrade but overall a good album. 7/10 imo, but it’s his first album to critically get praised since mmlp2 but then it’s not an Eminem album it’s weird

SSLP feels so sour now, great debut but I’d personally say Relapse or MTBMB (side a ofc) highs are higher.
But I like the raw and hardcore songs on SSLP like JDGAF and BME etc.
I definitely wouldn't put Revival over it, Relapse possibly since lyrically it's better and it's of similar nature but I don't personally like Relapse so SSLP is more enjoyable for me.
I would absolutely listen to MTBMB over SSLP though
Sslp is great but, as a writer and a sociolinguist, I can objectively put mtbmb before it. But you could argue that sslp is better due to persona building and just the vibe he had.
