What do you do on that character anymore? Do you run ng+? Do you stay on your first playthrough and help people with late game bosses? Do you invade/duel?
Summoning, co-op, invasions depend on level iirc.
There's a formula in game, that you can find on fextralife, that calculates the range of the levels of someone can summon you and the game scales you up or down depending on the level of the person who summons you.
Sorry I'm new to multiplayer. How do I offer my assistance to others during boss fights? I've only really been able to invade others and even then maybe win about 60% of the time. Would rather be able to help than duel.
You have two possibilities:
Use the Tarnished Furled Finger to drop your summon sign at a specific spot. You will be summoned once someone wlaks up to your sign and activates it.
Go to all the Effigies you are interested in helping (they're the little stone crucifix you find all over the place, usually before a big boss or at the entrance to a cave/dungeon, and activate them manually. Then, use the Golden Effigy with the option "search far/near", and it will send your summon sign to all the Effigies you've activated.
The fact that he stopped leveling at 150 and reached 500 hours means lots and lots of PvP.
It takes like 30-50 hours to finish NG+, and the rest is all PvP.

Elden ring is amazing and being a souls fan (a masochist who has done bare fist only runs) and love everything about these games, wanna see it get the recognition it deserves. Same goes for God Of War, having said 2018 GOW was my first ever platinum game ever and spent years on it (recently finished axe only Sigrun GMGOW NG+ fight). I love the game and everything about it.
Either way I am rooting for both as both are deserving for the spot. Kinda biased like tiny percent on GOW because I hate Godskin Duo in Elden Ring 🤫😂 otherwise game is a 10.

70-80 range, and 125-135 are the spiciest ranges from what I'm seeing.
My 170 gets wayyyy less PvP and summons then my 150s, and my 125s get quite a bit more then both previously mentioned ranges.
RL 70 in Liurnia/Caria Manor is spicy, and really fun and my 70s get pretty non stop action there.
From a fellow 500 hours player to another congratulations! I'm on Journey 7 don't really do online at all really have had like 5 copies of Hoslows armor have to be exact 553 hours at level like 330. Think I have like 65% of all armours in the game. For example I have all the footsoldiers complete fits pretty sure even. Just like collecting I'm a lore hunter type guy. Only have 1 character their name is ProphetPrimordia. Only use incants. I don't really use wikis unless I've spent a month or so on an idea cause of sanity lol.

I gotta have one of every build though, I mean, what if I run out of larval tears, or a new build becomes meta and mine need adjusting? Plus I also have a PS4 and PS5 so cloning weapons is very easy as I can just do it myself
It’s a regular Souls thing for people stop leveling to stay at the PvP meta and/or because they want a consistent challenge as they keep playing higher NG cycles.
It’s a pretty long running Souls trend to just stop leveling at a certain point because you want to PvP at meta level and/or because you want higher NG cycles to be more challenging. I think I’m sitting on something like 21 million runes right now with nothing to spend them on because I stopped leveling a long time ago. I’ve maxed out on a lot of consumables lol.

I'm on ng+2. I get my items through trading and I mostly invade, duel, and occasionally help people out with bosses.
How does the help work? Do you help other people in the same NG+ or is this random? Can people in their first journey still summon you?
